Lilia wouldn't sat that her day had been going very well. Her parents were off on vacation but she had started to feel slightly sick so she declined going. Her mother had offered to stay home with her but Lilia knew how much her mother had been looking forward to this trip to she put on a brave face and promised to check in every night. Besides, Lilia knew that it probably wasn't anything life threatening; she'd take some medicine and she would be good to go. But that didn't mean she wasn't feeling miserable. She had given up on getting any sleep and had decided she was going to go for a walk. Probably not the best time of day to be going for a walk but she was feeling restless and the house was beginning to feel too stuffy. Besides, she wasn't completely without protection; her mother made sure she carried her taser with her where ever she went. In was a habit now to double check that it was in her coat pocket. So she left the empty house and began walking in a random direction, though she made sure to remember what turns she made because she definitely didn't want to wander around aimlessly and end up getting lost.
Thankfully, she wasn't too lost in thought to miss the sudden scream that rang out. Lilia jumped, whirling in a circle as she tried to pinpoint the direction the noise had come from. Just up the street, barely able to be made out in the darkness, she saw figures scuffling. She edged closer and gasped when she picked out a woman amongst the group of attackers. Her hand jerked her phone out of her pocket and dialed 911 in the same movement. However, a monotone beeping was the only thing that reached her ears and she glanced at the screen, gritting her teeth when her phone read that it had no service. Now, of all times?! She took a deep breath, turning back to the woman being attacked as her hand pulled her taser from its resting place. She wasn't just going to stand by while some woman was being attacked, she had to help.
Repeating that over and over to herself like a mantra, the tiny young woman gripped her taser as she took another breath before she darted forward. She picked the one closest to her, jamming the taser prongs against their side and pressing the button to send electric volts through the figures body.
