@DeadlyPhoenixLilia lay still and silent on the bed, a contrast to how she was earlier in the car. Her skin was paler than normal and stood out against her fiery red hair, which was curled on the pillow beneath her head. The minutes passed and soon her eyelashes began to flutter. After a few moments, her eyes peeked open, dazed and unfocused. She laid there, gazing at the ceiling as her mind stuttered and stumbled over itself to start working properly again. She remembered the fight, then feeling absolutely terrible and collapsing as she tried to vacate the area. Then...It was all black. As she tried to process the memories flitting through her mind, one thought rang out much clearly than all the rest.
That wasn't the ceiling of her room. Her heart jolted as she shot into a seated position, eyes wide. However, a nauseous feeling swept over her and she swayed, dizzy, before slumping back against the pillows. She squeezed her eyes closed so she didn't have to see the room spinning around her as she focused on her body. The horrible pain from before was absent but she could feel the edges of it, waiting to crash back down over her at any moment. She waited until her stomach settled before she opened her eyes and propped herself up weakly onto her elbows, blue orbs scanning around the room. They landed on a somewhat familiar face and they widened even further.
"You!" She exclaimed in a hoarse voice she couldn't recognize as her own.
"W-Where am I?!"
