Standing at roughly 5'0, Dalon isn't exactly the epitome of strength and muscle. In fact, he is actually quite slender and petite, weighing in at only about 100 pounds. He tends to wear sweaters and jeans more often than not and no matter how much he tries, his blonde locks always stick up in random places on his head. Aside from the vine markings winding around his body, Dalon's skin is without blemishes safe for a few scars on his back and sides. He hides his multicolored eyes behind a bandage he wraps around this head and he never leaves his room without it securely in place. He tends to get rather paranoid when people start touching the bandage and will result to slapping hands away for everyones safety.

Quiet and reserved, Dalon tends to hide behind the wall he's built around himself. He tries to keep his distance from others and does his best to keep them from getting too close to him. As a result, he can be quite stand-offish and at times will resort to rudeness to drive people away from him. But that is not the
real Dalon, this is only a mask, a shell he projects to the outside world. The real Dalon is kind and caring, someone who just wants to be accepted for who he is. He doesn't want to live in fear of himself but unfortunately reality is a cruel master.

Long ago, so long that the exact date was forgotten, a man spurred a Goddess. The Goddess wanted the man to herself but he rejected her for another woman. Incensed, the Goddess flung a curse down upon the man, that whosoever meet his gaze was turned to solid rock for all eternity. The man was cast out of society in fear of this terrifying ability forced upon him. He wandered and roamed, believing that he would die alone forever. However, fate seemed to smile upon him and he realized that by binding his eyes with cloth, the curse's affects were nulled. He managed to settle down with a wife and have children. But fate wasn't quite through with him just yet. He was given a son but all was not well. For as soon as his sons cry rent the air, the man found the curse had left him. Believing that the Goddess had finally granted him mercy, he began to live his life happily. However on his sons 10th birthday, his son's eyes turned an abnormal color and vine-like tattoos spread across his body. But the worst discovery of all was what happened when his son looked at his mother.
And so it was discovered that when the one cursed bares children, they are relieved of the curse which is then passed down unto their children.
And the cycle continues.
Dalon's parents had died soon after he was born and so he lived the first ten years of his life in ignorant bliss. But the harsh reality of his fate was brought to light when he opened his eyes on his tenth birthday to find they had changed color and he now had strange markings spread across his body. He had run down to show his foster mother only to become confused and scared when she turned to stone before his very eyes. His father soon fell victim to the same fate. As did anyone who meet his gaze. Viewed as a monstrosity, Dalon was run from the town. He discovered early on that if no one was able to meet his gaze directly, they didn't turn to stone. And so he found some bandages and covered his eyes from the world. However, the surprises didn't end there.
Dalon soon discovered he had another ability, a power to use a form of echo-location. If a sound is made, it ripples across every surface, creating a brief map of his surroundings in his minds eye. However, only sound can enable him to be able to view his surroundings. Otherwise he is left in darkness.
As he wandered, Dalon began to hear whispers of a house that welcomed strange people like him. Curious and with a small hope in his heart of a place where he could finally belong, Dalon's story begins.
