Bio

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

"Yeah, I've seen how 'safety' works here. A couple of referees can't fix common sense breaches. And the only thing that surprises me is how quick people are to gain favor from strangers." Honestly, what did he really understand, anyway? Was this the naivete other people used on a regular basis? Even with any kind of similarity, these were still people, and people did dangerous things whether they planned to or not.

Still scowling, the pale teen watched the boy start to walk away for a few seconds before reluctantly following in the same direction.
"Don't get me wrong, it's too early to eat. I'm just here to nick something for later."
@Im a huge mess

Should I wake her up?
@jorthon

The pale teen stared at the newcomer for several seconds before remembering that the camouflage had been dropped. And therefore...oh, so he was talking to them, okay. As they realized that this meant a response was now required, their poker face gave way to a slight scowl. "Chiari. A pleasure, I'm sure." The dry tone was probably noticeable even in spite of the near-whisper used. "Not that I really expect you to remember; people don't care about what isn't immediately visible in front of them. I'll give you 15 minutes, 5 fewer than the last."
And... I'm stuck. Give me a bit to get back to my computer.

The nurse nodded before returning to the student's side with the necessary tools. "Alright, let's get it done, then. Just sit still for a moment, it shouldn't be a big deal..."

"...that's done. Not bad, right? That's a tiny mark, so it'll heal up in no time. The bandage is my own design, too, so it'll probably go faster. Probably."
As soon as they had cleaned up the materials and washed their hands, the nurse flicked a hand at the clipboard and scribbled a few notes. "Now, I'm almost ready to let you go, but if you have any last minute concerns, now's the time for 'em. Not the last chance forever, but things get busy on days like today."
@BlackPanther

I'll get that done, too. Just figuring out how to set it up right.
One way or another, Chiari eventually made it out of the cabin and over on the path to the dining hall. It hadn't been very long before try had decided that the bell could wait while they grabbed a quick snack for the morning. Unless it was a bell announcing breakfast, in which case, that would be a convenient accident.

Forgetting the camouflage for a moment, the pale teen stopped at the side of the path and picked up a couple of daisies. They were really nice, after all, looking like they had just recently bloomed. Such cute flowers.

Twisting the stems together, the ghostly youth continued on their way.
@Vampy

I'm on it.
If I don't get this up in the next week, I give anyone who is here right now permission to take the idea and run. Still figuring out school stuff right now.
Chiari woke the next day in an empty cabin, with the same empty feeling they had woken up with so many times before. Perhaps it was just something that came with the perpetual hide-and-seek game that had become their life, feeling like nobody else existed until they tried to purposefully avoid them. Rolling their head to the side, the pale youth looked over to the rucksack on the floor next to the bed. It was kind of nice that they had been assigned a currently empty cabin; less awkwardness with the whole..."what are you" deal... Plus, it wasn't strange to just keep everything in the bag rather than putting it away somewhere. Easier to grab later on if moving quickly became necessary.

Sitting up slowly, they yawned and looked down at their hand as they tested their camouflage ability. Yep, a good night's sleep had done wonders! It came so quickly and naturally, and there wasn't any odd distortion. Perfect for another day of hiding out.

...Yeah, I really ruined any chance of not having to do that, huh? It would have been nice to have at least one person to play with while the game continued...

The pale teen sighed, of course it had gone that way. Without that much interaction within their own age group, people were harder to be around than they thought. Maybe avoiding them again wasn't such a bad idea. At least I can go find out what that bell was for. No need to interact for that.
