@MiddleEarthRoze, I was being in character by using the terminology Charlotte would use.@Yog, Only certain kinds of Familiars are allowed at Hogwarts. I gave Charlotte an actual reason to have gotten permission for her Raven, but I can't see why your Ferret would be allowed.@General, Has it even been confirmed whether we'll be starting just after the sorting or not? I don't think I've seen anything like that, so I assumed we would be starting on the Hogwarts Express.

Albus had a ferret when he went to Hogwarts
here's my character

Name: Isaak Boyars
Age: 12
Appearance:

House: Slytherin
Year: 2
Heritage: Pureblood
Wand:
Length: 12 1/2 in
Wood: Hazel
Core: Dragon heartstring
Flexibility: Slightly Springy

Bio: His family is strongly tied to the Boyars of old eastern Europe who were among some of the most prestigious families in Bulgaria and Russia during the middle ages. The Boyars were not only powerful among the muggles of eastern Europe, they were also among the noblest of wizarding bloodlines in Europe. Isaak's family moved to England over two hundred years ago, and it was almost like a tradition to have a member of their family to attend Hogwarts of School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and they all went into Slytherin. Isaak was taught that the history of his family was one of the greatest among the wizarding families and to be proud of his heritage. Living his childhood with his brothers and sister was very good and grew very close to them. Being the oldest meant that Isaak had to be the one brave the unknown of becoming a first year at Hogwarts, and he was afraid of not being placed in Slytherin. His eleventh birthday came and he soon off to Hogwarts. He spent a good amount of the ride on the Hogwarts express, listening to other first years talk about all manners of challenges they would have to go through to be sorted. When they finally came to the castle, they were led into great hall and were shown the sorting hat. One after another, a first year's name was called and the hat would speak out loud, placing them in their house. When it was his turn to be sorted, his heart had been racing and he was nervous. When he sat on the stool and the hat was placed on his head, it began to talk to him. It said that he had a great amount of potential. The hat mentioned that he could do well in Gryffindor, but Isaak whispered that he truly wanted to be in Slytherin, and the hat guessed that, since he recognized his family heritage. The sorting hat then shouted out Slytherin and Isaak was overjoyed to be apart of the house. His first year was great, he liked his classes, especially charms and he liked occasionally exploring the castle. He is now about to start his second year, and he is hoping to have an even greater school year in his second year. He also has hopes of joining the Slytherin Quidditch team.
Personality: Like with most Slytherins, Isaak is arrogant, ambitious and harsh when it comes to voicing his opposition against something he does not believe in. But despite those aspects of his personality, he does have good qualities about him such as being very loyal to his friends and very determined to do his best at becoming a great wizard. He also holds his family in the highest regard and loves them very much. His views on muggleborns is not as ignorant as some of his fellow Slytherins but he does feel like they do not belong in the prestigious houses like Slytherin, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. He also looks down upon Hufflepuffs and thinks of them as underachievers. And finally, Isaak is incredibly proud to be a Slytherin and will argue fervently with anyone who insults the house.
Friends/Family members/Relationships?: His parents' names are Feodor and Anya. He has two brothers and one sister, and their names are Dimitri, Alexei and Anastasia. Dimitri is eight, Alexei is nine, and Anastasia is ten. Because he is a pureblood, Isaak has a lot of magical cousins and he gets along fairly well with them. Since he is only twelve, he obviously is in no relationships with anyone and will have no interests in having a girlfriend until he is older.

While I wouldn't pick them over anime, those are some high quality shows. I miss Young Justice, in particular.

I've just grown tired of anime and how its flooded the market. And its fanbase has some of the worst fanboys of all time
Will we ever have story arc involving evil robots that try to wipe the heroes out?
So do the acts go in a type of order or do we just post our characters doing their performances?
On to the subject of the forum, I have several annoyances with some aspects of the Guild and its roleplays. So here's a list.

number 1: I really find it annoying that American style superhero rps have anime style characters with clear Japanese influence, to me it feels like it doesn't fit the rp. Seriously can we try to use other kinds of art than just anime to describe our characters' appearances? Anime has just become a glut on the guild for me.

number 2: I know several will agree with me on this, but I really hate it when GMs take off without notice or warning and then the rp dies because of it, especially if its a good rp that got a lot of supporters. And what makes it more frustrating is how there are other people on the guild who are trying to get their rps off the ground and they don't get support because people go the rps where the GMs are popular and then the thread dies do to the GM either not having enough time to run a roleplay or they're just negligent.

number 3: There are way too many anime roleplays and I have very rarely seen a supernatural themed roleplay that wasn't for anime, and it's getting really annoying. Seriously people have some variety.

number 4: Is it just me or does it feel like tons of female original characters seem to have either the same personality or are characterized in same manner? I have seen this with male characters too, but I see it more with female characters. I keep feeling like there is very little variety in how the characters are characterized.

number 5: I am also getting tired of seeing so many rebel like characters who are edgy for the sake of being edgy or just trying to be cool because they're rebellious. Seriously, there are way too many punks and snobby characters in rps on this site.

number 6: Another thing I really don't like is people who try to argue or voice disagreement by filling the OOC of a roleplay with mountains of text in their posts. It is unnecessary and ridiculous in my opinion, I am always able to voice my problems or disagreements in at least two paragraphs. To me when someone posts mountains of text during a disagreement, I feel like their just ranting and are showing off their ego.

number 7: I really wish this site had groups like in the old Guild.

This glitch needs to be fixed before I take Christian Bale even more out of his reaction image context.

You reply with memes?

Would anyone be interested in such an rp?

Essentially what Brovo said. It's the fanbase that's shit. I prefer anime to just about every cartoon. Period. Hajime no Ippo boxing scenes alone outstrip any action American cartoons today can do. As far as there being a lot of it, there is a quote from Dudel or Kestrel from old guild about why people play things. I can't remember it for the life of me.

I'll take DC's animated movies and their great tv shows over any anime
