Getting Back Into RP / Pairings Inside!

Hello, Guild! I'm Yumberry, or Berry, or Yum, or whatever else you want to call me.

I'm an experienced role-player though I haven't been active for a few years now due to work and a having a baby, but now I'm here and raring to go! Back in the day I considered myself to be an advanced level role-player, but now that I have been gone for so long I think it would be safest to start off calling myself high-casual so I don't disappoint as I get back into the swing of things. That's not to say that I won't try and give you as much as I possibly can when I am playing, but it might be a process at first for me to get back into my rhythm. If all that sounds good to you and you'd be happy to help an old lady get back into her favorite hobby, then read on because, boy, do I have some ideas for you!

First off though, I want to list a few guidelines that I have. Because the bad always needs to come before the good.

Rules

• Please be 18+! I like to include mature content in my role-plays. This doesn't necessarily mean adult relations, but life is gritty and real and I like my stories to include such themes.
• That being said, I am fine with sexual content and as such I tend to keep my role-plays to private messages. If you really would prefer to play through the forums, I can be convinced.
• I play MxF, FxF, or MxM! For MxF pairings I would prefer the female role though, as I struggle to pull off a convincing straight male.
• I play at a high-casual/advanced level and would like for you to be able to match that. I don't have post length requirements or anything of that sort, but we need to give each other plenty of story and world-building as we play. Responses can only be as good as the posts that they are in reply to.
• I do not have fully fleshed out stories and plots to suggest. This is because all of the long-term role-plays that I have been a part of have been created cooperatively. I want us to be able to make a story that we both want to play and flesh out. It's like our baby that we're raising together.
• I like to have OOC conversation along with our game. I have found that a good relationship between players is vital for a long lasting 1x1
• I don't need multiple responses a day, or even once per day. I get that life is a thing and I won't try and get in the way of that. If you will need more than a few days to respond though, just let me know! I'm a patient person.

• New Roommates (Be that in college, a new city, whatever)

• Honestly anything because I'm dying for slice of life right now! Just suggest something!

Getting Back in the Game

Hey, Guild!

I've been away from roleplaying for a while now, but if we went back three or four years I would be saying that this was my favorite hobby. I used to frequent both this website and a few others around the internet as just one forum wasn't enough to satiate my desire to role-play nearly nonstop. That is until life got in the way of things and all my free time was routinely obliterated.

I'm back now though and eager to ease my way back into a hobby that I sorely miss!

I would say that I was typically an advanced-level role-player, but now I may have to start off on a more high casual basis until my creative juices come back in full force. I don't think I have the time yet to commit to a big group RP, but I'm eager to start some 1x1 role-plays soon!
