† You who await God, do not fear, and he will free your bones. †
Salutations, cherubs. I am Yuria, an avid writer with a long-standing CV across most - if not all - genres. I hail from Britland and so reside in the GMT timezone, though you'll likely catch me at any time of the day since my sleeping schedule went out of the window a long time ago. In the midst of my spare time in the evening, behold an edgy revamp of an old request thread.
Third-Person, multi-paragraphed, often ascending into novella if the scene calls for it. My post length varies greatly; smaller interactions and exchanges of dialogue naturally call for shorter posts, but you can always expect a good chunk of material on my part.
I do not censor my writing. No fade to blacks, no pretend horror. I am inclined to describe every bit of fleshy detail, no matter how nasty things get. This is non-negotiable, and as such, I will not roleplay with anyone under the age of 18.
I enjoy playing both male and female roles equally.
As dry as I may come across, I am perfectly human and perhaps appreciate the use of OOC feedback more than most. Plot discussions are delicious, and I long for partners who are just as willing as I am to push the story forwards and keep it from shrivelling up with time.
Ghosting is generally a good way to drop out of my favour. I've done it in the past, you've probably done it. If you're going to be away for an extended period of time, or if the roleplay just simply isn't working for you, do drop me a line. I'll appreciate it a lot more than a loose end.

Small prompts to expand on. I have a few ideas for each, depending on your fancy.
> The daughter of a poverty-stricken girl believes that a divine power warned her of a dire future, and commanded that she lead an army to victory.
> A deal with death ensues as someone realises that the deceased can be returned to life, on the condition that they take their place within the underworld.
> An archaeologist unearths a grand treasure, but the original owner awakens for its return.
> They awaken in a gruesome and dark forest with nought but a rusty key on their person. As they search to find the door to leave, the key is noticed by the many horrors which dwell within.
> She is auctioned for her affinity for magic, and is bought by a peculiar being who claims that she will make a wondrous apprentice.
"A Carim knight will dedicate an entire career to attending a single maiden, just as Morne served one goddess alone."
Amidst a peace treaty, a Lady is gifted a personal caretaker from a foreign land; a knight of Carim, who by tradition swears himself to protect her under the influence of a religious figure named Morne. Despite her expectations, he is callous and unkind, and frequently lectures her on the cruelties which exist beyond her naivety and hounds her implicit weaknesses.
When the opposite end of the treaty demands a blood guarantor, the Lady - last in line and heir to nothing - is delivered in response with nought but herself and her anointed knight. Though as the carriage draws near, the knight of Carim smells a foul and conniving odour in the air.
An open-ended plot. I have a few ideas for this, which I'll happily discuss.
I want something knight/squire-ish but I have zero ideas on the matter. Help me.
A stone capsule encases a heart of burning fire; pride, honour, and duty each serving as the standing pillars to his mind. Matsudaira Yūzan is the very image of conviction, and so follows and enforces the laws of his keep to the letter, staying true to the words agreed upon by both him and his allies at the very founding of the Gotei squads. In battle, he displays the strength and fortitude appropriate for a man of his demeanour. Indifference paints his expression as he faces even the most outlandish of enemies; a neutral frown which remained unshaken even as he declared the genocide of the Quincy not so long ago.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Strong words breathe law, as the Captain Commander believes that all things come from dust, and will one day return to dust. Such is his ideal as he carries out executions with his own sword, enforcing such ideology through use of his Zanpakuto's flame.

Zanpakutō Personality Though the guise of the bestial spirit is often fear-provoking, Akai-Ryōken is a benevolent being whose company is well-appreciated during harsh times. Offering itself as a supporting beam, the Captain Commander's prolonged influence has shaped the Zanpakutō into a justicial entity, who looks upon the accused with indifference and serves as a willing guillotine when the trial calls for it. Akai-Ryōken displays immense loyalty towards its master, forming a bond unaffected by even the most trying of battles.
Those who have had the pleasure of conversing with it might comment on its supposed wisdom and understanding, denoting its persona as something of an old master.

Feeling disconnected from the repugnant nature of her Zanpakuto, Michi has adapted to be able to stand her ground using Kidō only. Her shikai is released only rarely and as a last resort, as it is something she believes to be dirtying of her position as apothecary. However, with ideals set aside, a surprising amount of potency can be seen in the way Michi handles herself during such times; excellent footwork combined with her swordplay amplify greatly after Yato-no-kami's release, and she has long displayed a style of movement akin to that of the Onmitsukidō.
Whilst Michi's Kaidō is nigh peerless even among her own ranks, the same can perhaps be said about her proficiency with both Bakudō and Haidō spells. Though she often expresses that she still has much to learn, she can perform most spells without the incantation. During battle, she favours the combining of seals and offensive spells against single enemies.
As if it were standing firm against its own master, Yato-no-kami is selfish, unkind, and unforgiving. It's egocentric nature cannot comprehend Michi's altruistic manners. However, though its outlook on the world is vicious and cold, it displays a great amount of care towards Michi in its own peculiar fashion. Whilst Michi tries to perceive everything through a shining and hopeful visage, Yato-no-kami often lectures her on the colder corners of the world by telling her that no matter how good she believes her heart to be, it will never outweigh the cruelties already committed by her peers. Taking its place on the other side of Michi's coin, it scolds her overly kind and trusting nature, and takes great pleasure in speaking the words I told you so.
> Bleed-Out:The 'thorns' of Yato-no-kami continuously secrete a thin, clear fluid. Though often initially mistaken for poison, it is in fact a potent anticoagulant. Upon entry into the body via lashing, this fluid prevents wounds from clotting and so prolongs bleeding for a substantial amount of time, causing dire weakness in opponents as the battle goes on. Rather than aiming for vital organs, the cruel whip of Yato-no-kami insists on bleeding its enemies to death.
> Drain: By pushing her own Reiryoku into the grip of the whip, Michi is able to provoke Yato-no-kami into sprouting further tendrils. Upon lashing against the ground, these tendrils are able to root into the terrain and seek out the opponent above. Erupting from the ground once more, Yato-no-kami ensnares its victim, wrapping it tightly and tearing at flesh. This combined with the coagulant results in the person being forcefully bled, much like a sponge.
> Beta-Blocker: The anticoagulant has been proven effective in stunting the regeneration of hollows, and has also been theorised to be effective against Kaidō. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
A crisis subsides, and the throne of the All-Father reigns empty. The remaining Gods of Paarl gather to settle an agreement of who would succeed the almighty Osahir, but the confluence ends in conflict, barring solution. Heated beneath the rays of Paarl, the mortal plane trembles beneath the might of deific tempers, pulled taut by the abandonment of duties and the thirst for further authority over life.
Nihayat—Sehten sees that you take on the role of one of many Gods -- each with their own ideals, ambitions, and solutions as they work to resolve or destroy alliances that might lead to the possession of Osahir's domain.
___________ An Ominous Prelude 2E 687, Du-raçi Dynasty, First Day of Nihayat—Sehten ___________
A lone merchant wanders to behold the city of Tirã-Kin, the oasis of Nowhere and The Dry Wastes. Though what he sees is not the glimmer he had been told of; rather, he watches as a climbing cloud of sand threatens to settle, lingering beneath the burning suns and staining the air a foul orange. The man swallows at the thought of a fate foretold; a day in which the desert dares to reclaim the oasis as the Gods abandon their thrones.
Beyond the mountain of Paarl and into a plane unseen by mortal eyes, the deities whom the people of Tirã'Kin hold so closely neglect their duties as they pursue eachother's necks, shaken by disagreements and crises beyond the comprehension of man. As even the Gods of harvest and new life are pulled into the fray, their discord paints itself upon the mortal canvas they created so long ago.
Thus begins Nihayat—Sehten, the future-told fall of the Gods of the Second Era.
LORE AND MYTHOS
افسانه و افسانه ها
THE CREATION MYTH The people of The Dry Wastes held that the world had arisen out of the primeval waters of chaos, known as Nu-e. It is believed that Tirã-Kin, the great oasis, was the first point to rise from the waters, with the mountain of Paarl being the tallest point of their visible world. Such stories tie in greatly with the flooding of the River Khef each year, during which the gradually receding waters would reveal softened and fertile earth in their wake.
The sun - a vital icon amongst the burning desert - is said to have birthed from the bud of a mallow flower as it bloomed at the peak of Paarl. The sun otherwise bears the name of Akhtun, and is perceived as a never-ending deity which consummated with the sky and bore the Gods of the First Era as its children.
Mortal men are told to have risen from damp soil many sunrises later, as the last of Nu-e evaporated away.
Human existence is understood by mortals as being a mere segment of an eternal journey, presided over and orchestrated by the many deities which comprised the pantheon of Tirã-Kin and The Dry Wastes. In death, mortal souls are ferried to the afterlife, wherein they would continue their own eternal journey affected by how well they had lived their life before.
AKHTUN, AT-UIR, AND THE DIRE SUMMER Akhtun, upon realising his solitude, consorted with his own shadow in the form of the sky in order to birth At-uir, The Second Sun. It was the birth of At-uir which saw the coming of the seasons as the new planet rotated around the two suns in a broad figure of eight.
Akhtun, grand and golden, burned the sands with long summers and warm nights. At-uir, modest and blue, offered cooler days and cold, still nights. However, upon reaching the central point of rotation, mortals are put through what they dub clearly as The Dire Summer; a stretch of time where neither sun sets, and the night never comes.
THE SECOND ERA The growing of mankind and its culture presented growing concern for Akhtun, who worried of the new world's survivability. He, along with the first "Gods" (namely the sky and At-Uir) planted their own seed in the image of man and ascended a generation of pseudo-humans into what became known as Paarl, The Endless Dream.
This dream, constructed by the ambient thoughts of Akhtun, saw that the great sun settle its consciousness into an endless slumber. In giving once-mortals their own domains to govern and maintain, the Gods of the First Era had passed on the torch to make way for the children of the Second Era.
NIHAYAT—SEHTEN The Gods of the Second Era were headed by Osahir, God of Order and appointed All-Father of the Pantheon. Though many centuries had passed during his grand and knowledgable overwatching, signs of the coming of a new Era began to swell.
Tremors would shake the usually tranquil grounds of Paarl, and waves of heat and cold and the whisper of distant voices in the wind told tales of the beginning of an age-old prophecy; Nihayat—Sehten, the beginning of an end. The Great Sun began to stir, and Akhtun threatened to awaken. The Gods - who had become so accustomed to their endlessness - suddenly feared mortality. For if the dreamer of the dream were to awaken, Paarl and all its inhabitants would turn to ash and sand.
Though the crisis brought many to the edge of their tempers, Osahir, whose honor was nigh unmatched by his brethren, cast himself into the flames of Akhtun as to smother the First God back into his hibernation. The Paarl dream ceased it's dissolving, but alas, the empty throne of the All-Father saw that another conundrum arose.
A confluence of the Gods saw no solution to the election of Osahir's successor, and many heads sought to claim the domain of Order beneath their wing. Relations and treaties pulled taught beneath the argument, and each began to ponder their own routes to the empty title. For all their might and wisdom, the Pantheon dared not imagine that the first day of Nihayat—Sehten was not the stirring of Akhtun, but the day of their confluence.
TIR×KIN The beacon of life within the vast desert, and the centre of all trade across the sands. Constructed of sandstone and marble and decorated with gleaming golds, the shining city of Tirã-Kin is led by the image of Emperor Ptolem IV, who in turn issues commands echoed from the whispers of his many masked advisers. The Emperor's Council is entirely populated by this advisers, who devoutly worship the God of Secrets. Represented by the image of the sun, Emperors are appointed by blood only, and are said to be the incarnation of Order; a reflection of the late Osahir himself.
Though the economy is maintained by skilled craftsman and businessmen alike, the majority of labour work is divided across the backs of slaves. Slaves are obtained from the many settlements in the vicinity of Tirã-Kin; small villages and towns unable to afford tax will forfeit their children as substitute, an act which has led to several revolts in the history of Tirã-Kin.
The shining city is built in an upwards motion, with the palace being built atop the Temple of Divines at the central peak of the architecture. Said architecture reflects upon the innovations of ancient Rome, but still retains the traditions of religion and culture akin to that of the Egyptians. With divine presence being so prominent, mankind will pin the troubles of failed crops and illness to the wrath of the Gods, and pay great effort into remaining at peace with them.
Though the idols of nigh all Gods can be found within the Temple of Divines, some will bear external shrines in their image, often having mortals journey on pilgrimages to visit them across the wastes.
MOUNT PAARL A grand silhouette on the horizon of the Dry Wastes, perilous to mortals yet home to Sahaq, the Gate of Paarl. Though the climb is grave, should mankind make even it to the peak, it is said that they will be greeted by a foul gatekeeper. Though meddling in mortal affairs is frowned upon within Paarl, it is known that any deity who wishes to enter the mortal plane would most likely do so by means of Sahaq. It is possible for portals to be torn open by force if the aggressor so desired, but Sahaq is built for such purposes of travel, if very rarely used.

One day I fell asleep, and I never woke up. In my dream I saw a fairy, who held a flower close to her chest. So pretty, I would have thought; only she opened up her whole head, and ate the flower. But she was still hungry. I ran, but she ran, and she ran, and she ran. Then suddenly, she was gone, and there nothing left but me and the forest.
It was silent, and I almost wish she'd come back, for whatever was waiting for me in my dream forest wasn't hungry, but it was waiting for me, anyway.

This deity exhibits traits of a foul and rapt beast; a black void festering beneath the guise of a pale man, whose translucent flesh presses tightly against bones of charred ebony. Though one might note this has his usual appearance, the body of Kaa'Elsaar holds no true image, for his flesh shifts with every passing thought. Indeed, Kaa'Elsaar's identity consists of not one, but many, and his material body is composed by a viscous, black fluid, which molds and flutters into countless shapes at the God's own will.
The true face of Kaa'Elsaar - the one in which he was born with - is that of a young male's, pale and forlorn and with a quiver that could perhaps be denoted as pain. Fingers elongate into hooked claws, stained by the black blood which surpasses his elbows only slightly. Eyes of inky moisture might often set alight with irises of a most terrible orange; a symptom of excitement, anger, and arousal.
His entire complexion is painted a dull near-grey, darkening within the crevices of critical cheekbones which pull into the points of his ears. Tendrils of black hair fall heavily upon his shoulders, thusly tied away from his face and into a partial knot, as he had seen so many do upon the mortal plane.
When ascending above the confines of his beloved underworld, Kaa'Elsaar might choose to assume a less grotesque form to greet his brethren. Effort will be placed into filling out his muscular structure, and his complexion will remain consistent and unblemished. But Kaa'Elsaar is a ghastly being by nature, and is known to overstep his bounds; imitating the face and voice of a loved one of many things he is rebuked for.
Regardless of his chosen shape, Kaa'Elsaar's mass remains static.

Quiet, plotting, and selfish. Kaa'Elsaar's tongue is laced with venom and his teeth sink into conflict as a leech would to flesh. Passiveness cloaks Kaa'Elsaar in a black dredge; his stoic reservation proving unnerving when led in comparison to his often ghastly guises. He is compared at times to the spider, or the snake who awaits beneath the sand. He watches conflict and violence with seeming indifference -- his jaws wide open as he awaits to catch the stragglers who fall off the edge.
So vast is his neutrality that nigh everyone turns a blind eye; only to be shaken by the extremely rare and dire actions that he seldom commits himself too. His actions - should he decide to take them - occur so suddenly and viciously that none can do anything but observe the aftermath. Such was the case at the birth of the Second Era, where all of Paarl learned of the extremities which Kaa'Elsaar does not shy away from.
The deity known as the Foul and Many-Faced thinks and feels by his own accord, and bends only to treaties which offer to feed his ambient appetite. Empathy has no place within the heart of the Underworld, for when all else leaves, he shall remain.
☩ Ⱥctive Ⱥbilities--
Kaa'Elsaar is a rapid shape shifter, who can assume the silhouette of both man and beast at the mere passing of a thought. Idols of Kaa'Elsaar depict him as man, serpent, and canine.
☩ Ⱥmbient Ⱥbilities--
In it's raw form, the viscous liquid which shapes his body is extremely septic to the touch. Organic material which comes into contact with this substance is known to peel and wither, as though affected by a rapid form of necrosis.

Kaa-Elsaar was birthed beneath the image of A-Tuin, who bequeathed him with five brothers and gifted them all with the Underworld to govern and protect. Kaa-Elsaar's eyes overlooked that of his siblings, for he was gifted, ambitious, and conniving -- as was so often the case with first-born. The six thrones of the Underworld bothered him deeply, and his thirst for power far outstretched any love he held for his brothers.
An infamous tale of horror tells of Kaa'Elsaar, who assumed the form of a great serpent in order to devour his brothers as they slept. Though the consciousness of Kaa-Elsaar remained strong and intact, the act caused his body to curdle and dissipate into a foul pool of black; a gurgling void of which shaped itself to Kaa-Elsaar's will. And so he became not one, but many; an abomination which would henceforth be known as both monster and god.
His writhing form aches unwaveringly, but such things were trivial to Kaa-Elsaar, who beholds the Underworld as his domain and his domain only.
