The trio huddled by a fire outside their little barracks they stayed in. Virtus stayed further outside the range of the fire, enjoying the night sky. He leaned on a tree nearby, looking outwards towards the sky. There weren't to many trees by Ragako village, not compared to when Wall Maria was actually intact.
"The lieutenant seemed a little too curious about the boy. Don't ya think?" Vivi asked. Tushar had his hands flayed out on the fire warming them up. He looked over at Vivi.
"Yeah she seemed a little..uptight." He said rubbing his hands together, getting them warm.
"What do you think Virtus?" He asked looking over at the more shadowy area with the tree.
"Hm." Virtus said, barely making a sound looking out at the stars glistening.
"I don't know the woman too well. I don't know her past either." He said crossing his legs, getting more comfortable.
"Sometimes people in positions of power, burden themselves more than they should." He looked down at the ground and picked up a stick and played with it against his clothing, messing with the wrinkling of the clothes.
"I don't know though, nor is it my business." He said looking back up at the sky again.
Tushar looked at Virtus as he explained himself, but didn't really have anything to say to that. He let the subject go. Vivi looked at the both of them while she warmed up by the fire.
"I want to cry." Vivi opened up. Virtus looked over at her when she had said that. He knew why. He stood up and walked over to her, sitting down. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, and not a moment later she put her head between his chest and pit, crying. She let out everything, and all Tushar and Virtus could do was sit there and comfort her as best as they could.
The air was cold. The dungeons were a little deeper than the normal jail cells. The MP's had taken precautions with the boy. The echoing of footsteps had reverberated down the stone hallways of the dungeon, waking up the boy before Sarah even arrived. As her footsteps got closer he continued to lay not wanting to do deal with any kind of crap. What happened earlier was complete accident.
When she arrived at the cell, he looked at her,
"What do you want?"
