Naesala wears regal, knightly clothes on top of her armour when she rides to battle or is on parade. However the armour she wears on parade or guard duty is a tad different than from when in battle. Her parade armour has much more decorations and bling, but the armour she was able to bring with her is her battle armour (pic). She is missing a few pieces from her knightly armour as she did not want to stand out "too" much in case they need to be incognito.
She stands at 5'8 and has quite the athletic build but her armour hides plenty of scars she had gained from her battles. She keeps her long hair in a tight braid that she keeps hidden under her robes normally, but for this mission she had cut off her braid at the neck, hoping that she won't be recognised as easily without it. She has deep green eyes, but they are a bit empty, having seen death on the battlefield for many years.

Personality:Naesala has a cool demeanor about her. She takes her duty dead seriously and won't hesitate to eliminate anyone which stands in the way, even if it would be an "ally". Especially at a time like this, she won't risk anything hindering their progress. She is not inherently evil, but neither is she good. If they run out of food, she won't hesitate to ransack a farm for it, but would repay said farmer if they gain enough funding. She never forgets who owes her anything, neither does she forget those she owe.
Backstory:Naesala was born into the nobility of the Qitris family. Her mother gave birth to no sons, only daughter and after a few years it was decided that Naesala would take up the mantle in the kingdom's army after her father. Her family had always stood watch in the kingdom, guarding the royal family, both internal and externally.
When the call for battle came, anyone in the Qitris family would be there, first in the fray when the knights charged in. It's quite a large family, Naesala's father having many brothers and a few sisters which were in the branch families while she herself was in the main family.
When Naesala was ten years old she started to squire for her father until she was passed on to one of his brother's. She was trained in statesmanship, tactics, reading and writing amongst other things. She was trained to take over the household eventually and thus needed to know everything that included.
By her eighteenth namesday she was honoured the title of Royal Knight in the Kingdom and took up the duties that included. She was included in bandit suppression, skirmishes with other kingdoms, parades through the capital, but most of all she trained hard every single day.
Eventually her father had summoned her back and had granted her an armour fitting her family along with his old sword and shield which she would carry until they broke or was handed over to the next generation. This was also when she was allowed to take a warhorse for herself from the family's breeders. She chose a horse and named it Pride, because she would always take pride in her family and duties.
Another year passed, campaigns came to close, and the judgement day of the kingdom was coming. She had fought on the front lines for quite a while when she was summoned back to the capital before the retreat of the forces. There was rumours in the kingdom that they would all be eliminated, that there was no hope left. She was given a task, a task which she objected to, but also knew she had to do. She was going to preserve her family line in case that the worst came to pass.
Skills and Abilities:- Professional Horseback Riding - Naesala rides her horse, Pride, into battle and mostly fights from horseback. She almost obsessively takes care of her horse along with it's armour.
- Journeyman Marksmanship - She does not use her crossbow too much instead she relies on fighting with lance and sword.
- Adept Swordsmanship - She is a well trained swordswoman which has few pars in her old regiment. She prides herself on her ability with the sword but has never been able to reach her father's level of skill, but she practices every single day, hoping that someday she'll reach his masterful skills.
- Professional Knight - She is well versed in the arts of fighting at horse or in heavy armour. She much prefers to fight on horse as a true knight.
Equipment:- Varyan steel bastard sword, worn - Given to her by her father when she became a knight. It has quite an ornamental one and a half hilt but the sword is getting quite worn from use during her many years of being a knight along with her father before her. The sword is always kept sharp though and she cares for it a great deal.
- Crossbow, worn - The crossbow she uses from horseback. It is smaller than a crossbow a footsoldier would use but packs quite a bit of punch in it's own right. The crossbow has seen her though many a pinches during her days and shows quite a bit of wear and tear.
- Quiver and bolts - The quiver with 30 bolts are tied to the horse's armour so it's easier to carry while on horseback and makes loading easier as well. The quiver is quite a normal looking, leather quiver with no ornamental components part from the crest of her family.
- Steel layered armour, worn - Her armour is made out of steel plates along with cured leather underneath and a ringmail under that. The final inner layer is made out of linnen cloth to protect from chafing. The armour bears the crest of her family over her chest. It's a cross with an eye in the middle, a sign that her family is ever watching the kingdom. The piece on her chest is also made out of Varyan to protect her vitals.
- Pride, warhorse - Pride, is Naesala pride indeed. A purebreed warhorse from a long dynasty of horses that has served her family for generations. They only use the finest and strongest horses, the rest are sold off to the peasants while keeping the finest.
- Lance, worn - An ornamental knight's lance hangs along the side of the horse which she uses for the charge but then changes to her sword and shield for the melee if they did not break the enemy in the initial charge.
- Varyan steel shield, worn- Her shield bears her family crest and was given to her when she was given the sword, to carry on the traditions of her family to ever be watchful of the kingdom and to watch over it.
- Equipment carried by Pride: - A finer leather saddle bag containing a waterskin, a pouch of money, thread and needle to repair superficial damages, oils and ointments to protect her from chafing along with bandages and food for her and Pride. On the back of the horse there's a bedroll along with a smaller tent and camping supplies including a few pots for cooking. She also has two change of clothes with her and soap.
