There was a time when Cian was just a normal teenage boy. Yes, he had some family problems (his mother was Irish and his father was Italian, so nobody could really expect that their relationship will be all that sunny) and he did some shit sometimes (like when he threw brick at the police officer in one of the demonstrations he took part in) but nothing really serious. Until he found this girl, Emily. Where devil can´t go, he sends a woman, they say.
She was beautiful and Cian had immediately fallen for her. Needless to say he has fallen really deep, to the very bottom, to tell the truth. With girl came parties, with parties came alcohol and drugs and after drugs and alcohol there is only one real taboo left. Occultism, Satanism and tantric magic happened to be Cian´s daily breath. Cian not only dealt with Devil, he even shared a bottle with him and then took him to the bed. It wasn´t that long and he was called "new" Aleister Crowley.

Couple of years were like this (surprising that he was still alive), when he started to sober up. He saw his reflection in a mirror and it frightened him nearly to death. Cian remembered himself as a young lively guy, but in the mirror there was only a human wreck you could only feel pity for.
He didn´t want anything like this, he just wanted to enjoy his life, but that life was no longer his, he was just an empty vessel, a puppet of forces far above him. Cian swore to himself he will change it, that he will be his own master once again. He packed his things, determined to run as far away as he could, but he was stopped by Emily. She wanted to keep him with her, even if she had to kill him to do so. Cian was forced to fight for his life and in the end, he was even forced to kill her, but no sooner than she could cast a curse him.

The curse that has befallen him was subtle one. Just a whispers in the back of his head. A senseless choir of silent voices that only he could hear. The curse was subtle but no less terrible. Few weeks passed and his sanity suffered severe injuries. He had to either keep himself drunk like an Irish pub, to silent the voices, or at least wear a pair of headphones with loud music to yell over them.
But voices weren´t all, he had also dreams, terrible dreams, bloody and surreal. He dreamed of severe murders, terrible and mystical ones. At first he thought it was just another way to harm his mental health, but those murders he dreamed of were really happening.
He decided to follow his dreams and started to investigate murders on his own. He was looking for clues and interrogated witnesses, trying to finish the picture his dreams gave him. During his investigation, he noticed an interesting thing. Voices in his head seemed to react on some things he had found, sometimes it was like if they argued with themselves, sometimes it was more like a humorous chatter. Their reaction helped Cian a great deal with establishing new connections.
During this, it was also the first time he get in touch with D.I.S. At first, they thought he was the killer, even locked him up, but when murders continued, they have released him and even let him to help.
With Cian´s knowledge and D.I.S. resources it was only a while until they found the killer a delivered him justice. After that, Cian was offered to be more permanent part of the team.

Personality: Due to his interesting life and unpleasant curse that befallen him, he isn´t exactly ideal of tranquility. He is eccentric, to say the least, with theatrical manners (and gestures). He can be little bit moody, most of the time balancing between an enthusiastic savant and a cocky bastard. He might not be most professional individual and he might have some issues with chain of command, but Cian is fully dedicated to his work, be it the only thing he has in his life. He has hard time with focusing on job, but when he finally bites to it, there is nothing that can stop him, be it another living being or even he himself. Because past experiences, he is also trying to keep distance from others and his trust is really hard to gain.
