This sounds good.
Sorry for not posting earlier, I had some issues with internet connection.
Edwin already like their new pilot. She looked hard as nails with balls bigger than their krogan comrade, and that bastard got a two pairs of them. From what she said, and from the way she talked, it was sure she doesn´t just play around and means business.
Her overall professionalism have almost made him say some kind of a cheeky comment, but turian guy seemed to be first to play with the fire. At first it seemed that pilot ignores the intruder in her bridge only to shoot him down in the second. There was always something in slaps that made Edwin smile, and this time it wasn´t different. It was only pity that he hadn´t recorded it, the sight of turian being slapped by a tiny woman was something that would be a hit on holonet.
First time they will be on a short leave, he will definitely buy her a drink, despite the fact that she would have probably beat him with a bottle at the moment she saw him anywhere near.

Edwin would just stand there with amused grin until the end of the day if there wasn´t a call from the commander. He sighed a little and went towards the briefing room. He was a little curious about what could their first mission be. There were some doubts about his new team mates. Edwin usually worked on his own and he had a plenty of a good reasons why to do so. He had some terrible experiences with teammates that looked way more professional than the one he was assigned with on Unity.
He had no problem with turian, those guys were born soldiers and they were quite skilled in their job, but rest of his new team worried him. Krogan was way more polite and tranquil then krogan should Either he was particularly calm exemplar or he was under sedatives, and frankly, none of those ideas sounded appealing to Edwin. The volus mercenary was a chapter itself. It was ridiculous, like a male asari or a krogan pacifist. But here he was, little armed ball of mass destruction. Maybe they throw him, or roll him, on the reapers. Element of surprise is a key, and who would expect little volus being threw at them?

He came into room just a few moments after Talus, only nodding to greet his new commander. He didn´t feel any urge to introduce himself. Edwin knew who the man was, and if he was any good leader, he knew who was Edwin.
Room did not really surprised him. He saw such rooms on dozens of ships and they were all same. There always was a big table in middle, a big monitor with all necessary information and an uniformed jerk in charge who would present them. Only thing Edwin missed were chairs. One would think, that when he is expected to fight the dreadful reapers and their hideous creations, he would at least a place to lay his legs.
The S2cond of N9ne

Name: Gabriel Machelli
Age: 17
Gender: male

History:
Young Gabriel (he always insisted on being called by his full name rather than any shortening) in his early years could be labeled as a prototype of a nerd. He was a slender little boy with big blue eyes shining with an ever present desire to learn something new about pretty much everything. He was always so cheerful and well mannered that even mormon missionary would be put into shame His bookshelves were always filled with encyclopedias and comic books he loved to read so much. He would be blessed child for every parent and dream student of every teacher.
But there are tears behind every smile, and in the case of Gabriel, tears were accompanied by a lot of hidden anger. He himself isn´t sure what have made all things come to surface. It might be family troubles (his mother had Irish roots and his father had Italian ones, so it was pretty much expectable that their relationship won´t be exactly sunny), or maybe those bullies from school, that were beating crap out of him, finally stepped the line, but one day something broke in Gabriel.
He came to his school with a devious grin instead of the kind smile and his eyes no longer possessed a pair of small, naive sparks but fires of anger. In the end of the day, it was him who was laughing and it was the bully who was crying in the mud. That day, the good boy Gabriel died and his much angrier twin was born.

Gabriel was always in the brighter half of his class and even after his change, he was still among the top students. He never had a problem with an extraction of valuable information from his curriculums and he always knew, how to use such information. Due to this, he never had problems with a science or his favorite subject-history (only subject he showed interest in after his deviation). Also languages were a piece of cake for him, and aside from English he can fluently speak in almost all Latin languages (probably legacy from his Father).
Only thing he keeps failing in, is a math. He just can´t see any sense in the numbers and loathe it as a pointless thing, completely useless in the real life.
Despite his intellectual qualities, Gabriel´s grades are average at best. He could easily be one of the best students in the school, but his almost complete lack of interest or motivation is holding him back from achieving anything to be proud on.

New Gabriel, or Gabe, how he started to refer to himself, is a complete opposite of his previous self. He is no longer a little naive boy lasting for a knowledge or a recognition. The cheerfulness, kindness and diligence, words that were his trademark in past no longer fit him. Books he used to lock with in his room are being replaced by cheap booze and cigars. He grew wild and reckless, spiteful and eccentric with moods more changeable than a weather in April. One time he spites curses on everyone who comes to his sight, second time he just sits looking oblivious to everything around him. He laughs and tells dirty joke in one moment, just to turn into grim bogey foreseeing dark future of the world in the second moment.
He has abandoned, or been abandoned by, most of his old friends, making his list of friends shorter than Somali cookbook. Only a few of his best friends are still willing to hang out with him and even they are quickly being superseded by a bunch of random punks Gabe uses to get wasted with.
Gabriel slowly falls to the bottom, and what is worse, he is absolutely careless about it.

Manifestation:
The Denkai manifestation Gabriel is stigmatized with is called Tonitrum, ability to move, or to teleport to be precise, from place to place in flash of lightings and sparks, something quite unpleasant for anyone near area of landing. Consecutive jumps charge the energy of the lightings, making them less and less pleasant. Due to unpredictability and rather chaotic effect is the manifestation considered as
Count me in.
Are you sure about that early iron age setting?
This looks really intriguing.
The first mission should be something short and easy, just so that our characters can bond with themself. I think that an evacuation under pressure could be just the thing, but I would evacuate something more awry than a regular colony. Like a prison, or a colony used as a sanatorium, just to spice up things.
So let´s get it writed.

Damm I just reread and reedited my post and I swear I will never write things on my phone...
