Fuck it, General reading. How is my family life? or something like that

Much like with Walker's reading, all these cards are pointing towards the same thing. Except this time, that thing is trouble. The Knight of Swords predicts arguments, The Tower stands for an unpleasant change or revelation, and the Three of Cups implies emotional problems with those close to you. All in all it seems things may be rough for a while. To put a positive spin on it, though, the conflicts presented by the Knight of Swords may lead to productive changes in a relationship. So, it's possible that the grief brought to your family may be unpleasant at first, but will prove beneficial in the long run. Lastly, the Knight of Pentacles suggests a "slowing down" of things to come. This could either be a positive thing, if it means that the conflicts will before long simmer down and things will become calm again, or it could hint at more trouble not too far down the road, assuming it means that the positive changes are what's slowing down. Really it's difficult to say.

Nice double post. Also, for those who are receiving readings, keep in mind that the cards are also meant to help encourage introspection. They don't hand you the future, they're meant to suggest potential paths and what not. (Which Kaga said.) They help you look at your position you're in now and decide a reasonable way to move forward.

A general reading for my long-term health, if you would feel inclined.

While I assumed you meant physical health, the cards that came up dealt with both physical and emotional health, so I'll roll with that. Either way, they seem to indicate difficulty up ahead.Firstly, the Five of Cups deals with intense emotional upset or regret. Its position here in particular implies that you may dwell too heavily on something in the future, hurting yourself further for an extended period of time. The Hermit may provide more insight into this, as it suggests difficulty sorting out your own problems as well as difficulty taking advice from others or allowing others to console you. Either one of those things could be what may cause said emotional issue to linger on longer than it should. Finally, the Five of Pentacles touches on physical problems, though, much like the Five of Cups, it says that whatever problem ails you is one that you may have great difficulty overcoming. In fact, given the Five of Cups position in the center of all of this, it may very well be the cause of the issue presented by the Five of Pentacles - perhaps great emotional trauma or stress will impact your physical health negatively, as well, and failure to deal with one means failure to deal with both. In the end, though, we're given The Hanged Man, which, despite its potentially intimidating name, indicates acceptance, and allowing things to happen. So it looks like whatever emotional trouble lies up ahead will, at the very least, be sorted out eventually. It looks like you won't be forever scarred.

This is actually surprisingly accurate to my particular situation, with absolutely no exaggeration. You have a knack for this. Either way, it's reassuring. Thank you!

Why is it happening?

I had a feeling this would be suggested sooner or later. At any rate, the cards dealt to us seem rather unsurprising and are mostly a reiteration of what we already know. Firstly, The Chariot, in this position, implies an inability to assume control over a situation. Certainly, this is true about a lot of the factors involved in Spam's current state, such as Guildfall, or the inability to choose what new members enter Spam or which new ones leave. Next, the Ace of Pentacles suggests dissatisfaction with the current state of things. I feel this requires no elaboration. Beyond that, the Wheel of Fortune often means understanding cycles - reminiscent of what many Spam members have been saying now about how we're complaining about how things were. This is ordinary behavior for Spam - not something that is happening but something that comes up from time to time somewhat regularly. Lastly, the Eight of Cups is about rising out of a slump; getting over the problems in front of us. In other words: it's time to just keep going, and not dwell on the whole "Spam isn't what it used to be" scene. All we can really do now is keep moving and hope for a good future.I feel like we knew this already, but it's nice to have confirmation from the cards.
