Jared yawned as he walked out of his room, he had slept in a lot later than he had intended to and had missed any breakfast that may have been served but there was still time for lunch. He wandered through the house, getting used to the new place as he searched for the other people. He had been told there would be others in the letter. He heard some people speaking and decided that must be where the others were and started walking that way, his stomach growling. As he entered the room he made a quiet cooing sound, that of a pigeon, and found a place to sit, he didn't know who he was sitting across from but it didn't really matter, they had crackers and he was hungry. "sup?" he said and swiped some hair out of his face before picking up a cracker and munching on it.

((anyone who wants to meet a shapeshifter that likes to mess with people feel free to be the person Jared sat next to, he usually talks more than just saying "sup" once he wakes up lol))

Tawaret was surprised a bit more when the sudden sound of crackers shaking in a box came to her ears. Looking at the way of the sound, she raised her eyebrows at the maid, though it wasn't visible through the linen. "Whoa... now summoning a box of crackers is a magic trick I can get impressed by... wait, so you brought that here. You have the power to bring anything into this room right now?" she asked, trying to make it sound like she was just theorizing and not about to ask the stupidest things, being bit impatient, shifting in her position as if that box was the only thing she could get, Tawaret would need to grab it before everyone else took it.

She handed some to the lovely Orange haired girl, and then to anyone else but the bulk to Tawaret, "here" she said softly to each person.

Zeph spied on the others from afar, staying in his gaseous form. They were handing out crackers apparently, and he didn't really feel like having another one anytime soon. Zeph cringed slightly at the thought of the horrid taste in his mouth, even though it was long gone since he entered this state. He still was hungry, however, and tried to shake it off as he approached them. Rematerializing, Zeph tapped the maid's shoulder, saying, "Gh.. Got anything else?", as he forced a slight smile towards Raven.

Nico quietly accepted a few crackers. "Thank you." Turning to the person who had just arrived, he nodded. "Hello."

Jared accepted the cracker with a smile and a small bird's chirp, waving to the person across from him as he ate it. Once he was done he stuck out his hand and said, "I'm Jared."

"No I can't," she said blushing "the shadows are doors, and I am Obligated to try to keep you all comfortable... but I can't do much... other than some crackers and some drinks."

Jared accepted the cracker with a smile and a small bird's chirp, waving to the person across from him as he ate it. Once he was done he stuck out his hand and said, "I'm Jared."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Nico." He accepted Jared's hand and shook it. Hearing the chirp in his voice had made him smile; he hadn't really expected it, but it sounded kind of nice.

Jared smiled at Nico and made a small kitten's meow followed by another few chirps. He usually only made these noises as a response when he was tired or didn't feel like talking but they seemed to entertain Nico so he figured why not do a few more?

"Thanks." Tawaret said, grabbing the entire box when she was handed the crackers last. "You seem to be quite handy around here... well, apart for housekeeping that is. Name's Tawaret IV." Tawaret introduced herself at the maid, before coming bit closer. "But just between us... is that really the uniform they force you to wear all day long around here?" she asked, not wanting to humiliate her by just shouting it out loud.

" thank you" she said and laid the cracker on top of the flame and roasted it. "Try this" she said this holding the cracker out.

Zeph's expression turned downcast almost immediately the maid mentioned that there was nothing but crackers she can fetch. "Jeez.." he said, turning away from everyone else. His stomach began to grumble, but so far, he's managing to retain his composure until the very last minute. His steps began to slow down, however, as he heard a faint spark of a conversation between the maid and the mummy. Nothing better to do, I guess.. he thought, beginning to eavesdrop. He placed his hand on his torso and began to cringe in order to lessen the suspiciousness.

"I like this dress, I am not humiliated at all." she said softly "My name is Raven, miss Tawaret"
(she is currently in her dress the other outfit is our lovely OP's discretion for her to use....)

"Ah... mhm... alright." Tawaret said, just thinking what was the idea in such stereotypical maid outfit... sure she wouldn't wear it. Then again, she wasn't the one to judge, and by being slightly embarrassed by her previous question, she was lucky the linen hid the red on her face. "Uh, yeah, sorry for asking, not really 'my place' to say... eh, you want one of these?" she asked, leaning the box of crackers out in case the maid herself wanted some.

"I'm a yee naldlooshi, in English it means 'with it, goes on all fours,'" Jared said as he ate another cracker, "I'm a Navajo witch that can take animal forms. English people just call me a skin-walker though. What about you?"

She smiled and took one, "thank you" she ate the cracker, very ladylike and very nicely.... "I have a different uniform but I don't wear it very often... sometimes for bed and for magic practice with my mother."

" No one wants a toasted cracker fine ill eat it " she said eating the cracker. Soon a the same voice came on the loud speaker, "THANK FOR YOUR CORAPERATION YOU MAY GO WANDER NOW RAVEN YOU MAY WANDER TOO MAID SERVES ARN'T NEEDED AT THIS MOMENT." The voice faded. Looking around May smiled to them all made a small fire on her hand again and went into her room which was in the main hall were all the rooms were even the staff rooms.

Raven bowed and left, going to her mother, and knocked on the door, "mother may I come in?" she asked.
