"I was born somewhere in Germany, Elsterberg, I think it was. It's been a really long time. I've been moving around a lot after that, though, so I guess I could be considered from anywhere at this point." He adjusted his glasses a bit. "And you said you were of Navajo origins, I believe?"
Raven woke up, changed into her dress, then went and got something to eat, and drink, as to where no one is sure, then went about her duties... going to the unoccupied rooms and changing and cleaning the bedding and room, but not changing anything unless it couldn't be helped, leaving a note if she had to, to do her job.
Raven kept at her Duties, some of the people had messy rooms so it was hard to keep everything looking as it was untouched.... so she had to leave more notes saying where things were when she had to move them to clean.

Jared nodded. "My family and I are Navajo from Arizona in the southwestern United States. We moved around a lot too because we kept getting found out and had to run off to some other reservation because most people would just shun us but there were a few who wanted to kill us."

"Wow, that can't have been too fun. I guess that's what happens with people like us. People tend to get really paranoid finding shifters of any kind. Though, I guess anyone here would become a target for most humans."
Raven was waking towards Jared and his friend.... her heels clacked nicely... she looked indifferent as usual.
"Yeah, it would seem that way wouldn't it?" Jared says to Nico when he hears footsteps approaching and he looks up to see Raven coming toward them. "Hello there, I take it you're the maid here? I'm Jared, what's your name?"
"I am Raven" she said, "Nice to meet you Jared..." she bowed a little respectfully.

Nico turns to the girl who had just arrived. "Hi. I'm Nico."
She bowed to him "nice to meet you..." she said "I am done with everything for now, but dinner may be served soon so you may want to go eat... it is about 5pm now.
"It's nice to meet you too Raven." Jared said kindly, When she mentioned dinner he perked up. "Dinner? Would you mind pointing us in that direction?"
"Follow your nose, or follow me" she said, "I was headed there myself, though I can't eat with you, I am a servant after all..." she said softly.

Nico cocked his head to the side. "I don't really understand. Why exactly does this prevent you from eating with us?"
"I'm with him," Jared said as he pointed a thumb at Nico. "You should be able to eat wherever you want."
"I am a servant, I don't have the right to eat with you, and besides, wouldn't it embarrass you to eat with the servants?" she said, "True I get paid for serving you and such, but It isn't my place to eat with you... I could get in trouble... even if you made me eat with you... even the truth would get me punished... I am sorry" she said leading the way to the Dinning room.

A few other maids were sitting at a end of the long table chatting the meal was already set up. One of them patted the seat next to them mentioning for Raven to sit.

Javak realizing what time it was hurried to the dining room. As he walked in he saw others had already arrived.
Jared followed Raven into the dining hall and saw the other maids sitting together. "You said you'd get in trouble for sitting with us, but what if we sit with you?" he said and he walked over to the group of maids, smiling as he pulled out a chair. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked and waits for an answer, not wanting to be rude.
