Thank you for saying so DancePants I'm glad you enjoyed it. I certainly enjoyed reading your intro post, Madeleif's enthusiasm is infectious, I found her outlook and attitude to be enjoyable to read.

As for that joining order you've come up with, unless anyone has any objections to it then let's make it so. Wolfgang and Arturo Vargas, the antagonist of our story, founded the Wolves together however I certainly see Wolfgang being the main driving force when it came to recruitment. Maybe Valeria, being the third person to join, would have been his main assistant in this while Arturo focused more on operational matters and was more aloof and forward planning opposite Wolfgang's passion and drive to form a cohesive unit of the best that Europe had to offer. It was my thought that there would have been other members of the Wolves over the three year period they operated, some being members for only part of the gang for a short period of time and other staying a bit longer. I'm happy if anyone wants to make references to past members who aren't PCs, as long as you bear in mind that there would be a reason why they wouldn't have joined again i.e. death, imprisonment etc.

I'm really happy with the way things are going so far though, I'm really excited to see how this all unfolds and I'd just like to thank you all for taking an interest in this story. It's been sitting in my head gathering dust for way too long, I've always felt like it had potential so it means a lot to me that you guys have made the effort to get involved.

Thanks, Dance! Madelief is a very fun character to read, I love eccentric characters. I look forward to setting into how everybody gets along as the game progresses. I also think that that's a pretty accurate joining order, I always imagined Lucian would have been one of the last ones contacted when Wolfgang and Arturo were starting to really branch out and find the creme of the crop for pilots. It wouldn't have been very hard to track Lucian down in those years after his Algerian expedition, since it's not every day you have a home grown pilot and military veteran. Also, I think you have a pretty good perception of my character, Dance, and as you said it's each character's perception, which will always be coloured somewhat, for lack of a better term. :D

And now we've all gotten around of posting done, and am am very glad to be a part of this. Everyone's fantastic at writing unique and compelling characters, it's very much like a novel for me which is great! Thanks again for squeezing me in here, Danko. I haven't been this enthusiastic about a game in a while. New projects tend to have that effect. I also know what you mean about having ideas gathering dust in your head, I have 2 other RP ideas I've been loosely working on for the past several months that I'm not sure if I'll ever make or not.

I do like the idea of there being past members we can bring up from time to time, people who fell in the line of duty or were caught. I can imagine that would have been one of the strongest arguments for the Wolves to break up in the first place. After all, hard to be an effective group of pirates with just 5 planes.

I can totally see Valéria being sort of his assistant in recruiting. She wouldn't be the best at actually talking to people, but she would be great at tracking down the potential members and finding their exact whereabouts.

I've gotten most of a reply written up, but I'll hold off until the rotation gets back to me, where I'll add and edit according to what the others have written. Things are off to an exciting start!

In fact, I'm finding every post in this Rp fun to read! I think you've managed to gather together a very special group with this idea of yours, Danko. It's a very inspiring setting and it's pretty obvious how much heart you put into it, that's what drew me in anyway.

I should probably mention about now, since this is what held me up last time, too, that I don't generally get a chance to post on weekends and it is now Friday for me. I shall begin work on a post but I don't want to rush it. It'll more likely to be posted Mondy, hope that's alright.

DancePants, don't worry about not being able to post at the weekend. I'm usually quite busy as well at the weekends. It's not the end of the world if it takes a few days to get posts. As long as we're not falling too far behind it'll be fine.

Hey guys, it's been pretty quiet around here, and I always worry about inactive OOCs, especially when a game's getting started. I was also thinking that we should figure something out about post order. I know Dance will be getting to post in the next couple of days, but what's got me thinking is if somebody has something long-term and unannounced come up. I've had people disappear for weeks at a time in my games, so it's a pretty real concern.

Should we set a time limit, or loosen the posting order a bit so others have a chance to reply before the absent player comes back before Danko moves things along? Both of my games have been running for a year or more now, so believe me when I say things don't end up nearly as tidy as you hope.

Well I had thought about this. I think if someone hasn't posted within a week without saying anything then I would probably write their character out of the active story and should they come back they can write their character back in. In terms of post order I'm fine with being flexible, if it makes sense for your character to interact then I don't mind breaking post order as long as nobody is getting left behind or talked over. When we reach more action oriented scenes I would prefer if we were a bit more rigid with our post order just so everyone does their bit. Those scenes would be moving faster so it would be too easy for people to get left behind.

I've had people disappear on me before, that was part of the reason I kept the group smaller. I wanted people to feel more invested in the story than they might if they were just one in a crowd. I think we're waiting on Vivid to post now since the rest of us have had a post each since our introductions.

Keeping a small writer corps is better than a come and go horde. Nevertheless, the offer is still out there, Danko because I have a character sheet and contributions in mind in case anyone drops. Not to say that any particular person has been lagging; great story so far!

I made a bit of a mess of the original OOC post, I was trying to get everyone's CS on there but it turns out there wasn't enough room in the one post. Now it won't let me edit it, which I'm told is an issue without a solution currently. We'll have to put up with it I'm afraid. I got most of them on there but unfortunately Lucian only got half of his bio in the post. Sorry Dervish!

Oh, man. I wish I could have warned you. The same thing happened with both of my games, which has lead me to edit one of my posts further down.

What I usually do is I just link the post where the sheet was posted to save room, if you ever look at my OOCs you'll understand why lol.

But yeah, the Whiteboard of Death is certainly not fun to work around. I do recommend going to your next post in the OOC and using it as a continuity for your OOC stuff. So far, it's the only workaround I've found.
