Name: Kyle Parker
Age: 17
Grade (9-12): 11(Third Year?)
Disability: Amputated right arm (experiences frequent phantom pain), depression (mostly causes irritability and anger).
Personality: Extremely kind and incredibly determined, he is not the person people expect him to be considering his background. He’s the kind of guy who will be your friend until you show him otherwise, and those who don’t, he remains loyal to for life. He’s a kind guy at heart, if not somewhat brash, only doing what he feels is best, only meaning to do things for the best of intentions. He is somewhat irritable, often snapping, though feeling bad about it afterward.
Background: Kyle was born in the city of Los Angeles, Nevada as an only child. Before he was ever born, his parents had a very specific plan in mind for the future of their child. Since day one, Kyle was shown and literally force fed everything to do with fighting, specifically kick boxing and the UFC; his parents were determined to make him champion. As Kyle grew older, his life was surrounded by the idea of determination, the fighting spirit, what it meant to be champion. Everyday started with physical training in the morning, a few hours spent with several tutors on different subject materials in the afternoon, and training on how to fight at night. As Kyle trained his body, his tutors were placing the knowledge within him for everything he would ever need to know, this included mathematics, science, history, English and the teaching of other languages such as Spanish, French, Japanese, etc.
As he continued getting older his parents would frequently enter him into different tournaments. Thanks to his early years of training he won most matches. Whenever he lost a match he would be berated by his parents, he needed to train harder, move faster, fight better. It never bothered him, he was beating himself up just as much as they were berating him, and he knew it was true. He knew he wasn’t the strongest, so he made himself stronger, he knew he wasn’t the fastest, so he made himself faster, he knew he wasn’t the best fighter, so he strived to be the best; he nearly had his chance. On the night of December 12th, in the middle of the match the arena roof collapsed directly onto the ring, crushing Kyle under the heavy snow and metal. When Kyle finally woke up, months had passed and his right arm was gone. The doctors said that when he was found, part of the roof had collapsed directly onto his right arm, tearing it to shreds; it was unrecoverable. Kyle would never be allowed to take part in the UFC.
For the next several weeks, Kyle had to come to terms with his “disability”. With fighting being all he had ever known, he hadn’t thought of a plan for the future. Although he passed with flying colors during his tutoring sessions, there was no real future plan other than the UFC. His mother, looking at him with hollow eyes, handed him a flyer for an institute called Yamaku Academy. She told him he was going to school at a place where he could learn to cope with his disability, get an education and maybe find a plan for the future; Kyle reluctantly agreed. As he begins his new chapter at this academy he has to live with the guilt that he failed his parents, especially his father who said to Kyle specifically “I don’t care what you do with your future anymore, it was lost in the snow on that cold night.”
Other info: The picture above shows his appearance, though he is missing his right arm up to the shoulder, so his sleeve would actually be tied up to the stump. Kyle is a generally nice and friendly guy, though it honestly doesn’t take much to irritate him. Despite having lost his arm, he continues to do his physical training routines every morning. Also as a side note, because Kyle is a foreigner who's preferred language is English he'll be speaking in both English and Japanese. I'm not sure if there's a color coder, but in the meantime Japanese will be normal text and English will be
