After months of not listening to this song, it popped up when I had my entire music collection playing on shuffle a week ago. Now I can't get it out of my head, and honestly I'm okay with that.

Currently have "Little Talks" by 'Of Monsters and Men' on loop in my head, mostly the chorus on repeat.
'Though the truth may vary, this ship will carry our bodies safe to shore...'

I need a new song....

3 years from now, in a quiet hour such as this....this song will come back to haunt me. And you know what? It will drive me batshit insane trying to figure out who the hell sang it, for 6 hours until I finally snap like a twig and start collecting scalps or something.

When you hear reports of a Canadian scalping motherfuckers, know this; Jorick, It was your goddamn fault, and their blood is on your hands.

I will feel no guilt on this day, only sadistic pleasure. May the blood of the innocent quell your future rage.

Well, damn. Living the dream right there.

Turisas is on my to-see list, if they ever find themselves in Edmonton/ Calgary.

They like little events, best way to see them is in a small, cramped basement.

Alestorm opened for them too, those guys were cool

I saw Alestorm back in November, I love those guys. It was the same thing, a small night club that can only fit a couple hundred people, standing room only. I had Christopher Bowes, the lead singer, walk by me in line a few times going in and out of the place.

I sure hope you mean "earworm", because "earwig" is a type of bug.

...Ironically.

Yeah, it's about an actual bar that they played at (I believe) that hooks them up with free drinks anytime they're in town.

Fantastic song.

The story is this:
13 years ago they did their first thing in Minnesota. After the gig two guys came up to them and said they owned a Wisconsin bar, that they would let the band drink free all night.

They got so momentously fucked up in Wisconsin that they had to write a song about it.

I was there for their return to Minnesota, and they honored the two guys.

Ahh, there we go. I knew the story, just forgot the fine details.

Either way, they have a pretty awesome relationship with fans and the fact they still play small, intimate venues speaks volumes for how much they just enjoy what they do and appreciate the people who got them where they are. More bands should take notes.
