Utilizing a variety of subduing methods, deceptive techniques and techniques based around pure power Nakuzu figures if he can ambush and overwhelm most targets or prevent them from getting their footing he can win the majority of his fights. While preferring to stick to a mid range level, Nakuzu is proficient enough to defend himself with his Kusarigama close range and holds enough techniques to avoid long-range focus opponents.
