What do you need a scientist for? Zombies are a biological phenomenon, my character is a medical doctor... assuming that is, that I'll be accepted.

Personality:He is a upbeat soldier who tries to have fun no matter the circumstance. Class:Paratrooper/Rifleman scout
Weapons:URBAN:G56 and G56C, depending on the mission, His .45 ACP pistol, along with regular flashbangs and grenades. When in the forest he brings a M14 Rogue Battle Rifle, and his .45. He also brings a few smoke grenades[/hider]
Gear:He brings along a "3 eyed" NVG set, along with a gas mask. He also brings along a small drone for scouting. He carries 2 30 round magazines for his G56, 3 magazines for his .45, and 2 magazines for his M14.

Doctors don't use ranking. I have a real problem with that Major status when you're a Doctor.

Well, since my father was a doctor (also a paratrooper), I would know.
They DO have ranks. (At least in the Indian army, XD)

I personally don't see why there is not more people with higher ranks. The characters were described as the best of the best... Also doctors do you have ranks in the army.

Well, because the higher ranked chaps get grounded onto a desk.

Sure I can see that, but I'm sure one of the best of the best is not going to be the second lowest rank in the military...

And they aren't higher ranked because they still need to be combat oriented. It's unlikely for a high ranking man to still be in combat/in shape.

Well a major would still be somewhat in combat, though to be fair my character isn't a combatant... He's a doctor.

Well, they usually are, though. Like, DEVGRU usually are around E4 to E7, after which they're desked.

Again that doesn't quite matter as far as the desk goes, my character wouldn't be a combatant... No combat, his job was sitting behind a desk. The idea here is for them to be the best of the best in their field, my guy is one of the best of the best doctors.

Also just a heads up. You were all taken in by The Taskforce (again I know the spelling) before the outbreak. Probably by about a year, trained as they see fit. Everyone has and knows how to use most of the top tech of the era (basically the same as now, that may change depending on if we go raid a top secret base later in the game), stealth, yada yada. This is the first time everyone will be working together because this team was just created by Phoenix operations.

Combat medic? (yes I know you said desk job, but I was just thinking about what they would want against zombies. then this statement ----> Then again, you got taken in by TFP so you do have some combat training.
