I am planning on having the school be somewhat reminiscent of the Xavier Academy, with the mutants and the hiding and all, but that will be it.



Christopher Redthorn, a man that didn't exist to anyone who didn't know the name. For those that did, he was the creator and founder of Redthorn Academy, created specifically for Mythic's. Mythic's were supernatural beings, those of myth and legend from several cultures. Long ago they were all believed to be purged, but that obviously wasn't the case. Using his abilities, Redthorn assisted in hiding many of the races, or helping them blend into society if possible. Many of the Mythic's that were touched by his actions decided to help him keep the others safe, even though they were of different races. For some of them though, blending in just wasn't an option, or they were forced to run even after hiding. This was the reason for the academy.

Redthorn Academy gives the youth and even some adults the ability to be themselves without hindrance whatsoever. Far north, near the North America and Canada border, the school hide comfortably in the background of the scenery as an old manor, one that could definitely use a gentle touch and a good eye. With the old and withered appearance on the outside, the Academy is just as modern as anywhere else on the inside. With grand halls and always something going on, the Academy hardly ever has a dull moment.

Interested, but it's 5am right now and I should probably sleep before getting into it further. ^^; But yeah, interested.

Can't make any promises but this has caught my eye.

Potential interest. I need a gist of story or plot, maybe some actual structure? I should also check my schedule to see if I can fit another potential rp in :D

Anyway so were going to be mythical creatures like Vampires, Werewolves, etc, right? Not Mutants with special powers?

Rin, Nobodyman, good to see the two of you again.

It was late last night when I wrote this down, and I was too tired so I posted this to see who would be interested.

We would be kind of like the R-Men, I guess, but I was thinking of simply going by the team name of "The Mythics." Yes, we would be mythical creatures rather than Mutants, but that isn't to say that you can't have your own breed of mythical creature if you don't want to be one of the more popular ones.

The basic gist of this is that larger known Mythical creatures, like Dracula , are using their abilities to take full advantage of humans, using them as workers for whatever they want. It's pretty much up to Team Redthorn (Name still not fully decided) to go around the world and stop all of these dangerous creatures from misusing their powers. But what will they do when the villainous creatures band together to create their own team to cause havoc and chaos? Bring together their own team to keep things in balance!

This is still a very rough idea, so if any of you have any suggestions please tell them to me.

Hmmm, right, so now that I'm actually awake... Well, still interested in the idea but I need to learn not to read stuff at 5 in the morning. ^^; I shall need to come up with a new idea, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm working on the OOC/IC right now, should be done by tomorrow since I want it all nice and pretty.
