Kenny is now Fourth Seat of Seventh Division, but just because Abi is a friend, I'll do the mental agony that is math. I too plan on unveiling a female character. All I need to do is finish up her Bio and psych profile.

I'd help you out but I'm currently at work f(^_^') I'm not meant to be on my phone xD

Because math enrages me, I'm going simple. 2 points go to Kaien, for Ryōdan. The other 58 go to Kenny for every Kidō he can/is able to get right now which is: Bakudo:1 to 9 Hōrin - 2 days (2 points)21 to 39 - 3 days (3 points) - Unseated58 to 62 - 4 days (4 points) - SeatedHado: 1 to 12 - 2 days (2 points)31 to 33 - 3 days (3 points) - Unseated58 to 62 - 4 days (4 points) - SeatedIf I cannae afford all of these I'll settle for Rikujōkõrō, Sōkatsui, and Raikōhō

you do realize both of them get 60 points

then he has on mastery which means whatever he choose he can go up to lieutenant level in it. Example Yu is a Lieutenant, so he has two masteries, one in Hakuda and one in Hoho, so he can learn Captain Level moves in those categorys, while a seated can learn lieutenant level moves with a mastery.

Great! Kidō is Kenny's specialty. So if I have 58 points and I can go up to lieutenant on Kidō...

*Rubs chin* I am thinking I should make a few things like getting higher up skills, specifically Captain skills more difficult for seated members and even Lieutenants...because it does bother me slightly that well...we can all master an area so quickly. So I'm going to be changing something soon...just to make it that bit more difficult to master a single skill alone let alone the entire area

im just putting this out there but... i was thinking. with kido there is a lot of spells. thats not really true with zanjutsu of hakudo. sure they are a lot but who is really going to use Panchira Torunedo in serious combat, or at the very least call it by its name. Kido is, in my opinion, simpler to master in that theres hardly anything new or personalized about it. untill you hit a mater level and you can play with it.

I think hakuda and Zanjutsu are different, esspecially zanjutsu. its not required that every shinigami use the same sword style so perhaps there can be styles to learn on top of what is talked about in the academy, which is probably kendo. the same is pretty true for hakuda, while its technically a mixed martial art in itself perhaps we can add martial arts styles to it. for example, Soifon is a more skill based hakuda master while captain kommamura was a brute strength hakuda master.

so perhaps:

zanjutsu (kendo) skill 1-10 (4 points per level)
style 2 . lvl 1-5
style 3. lvl 1-5
style 4. lvl 11-5

Hakuda skill lvl 1-10
style 2 lvl 1-5
style 3 lvl 1-5
style 4 lvl 1-5

brute strength lvl 1-20

something like that

Why add levels? You know you can make your own type of Hakuda moves right? Same with Zanjutsu. Adding levels to it would just confuse more than help in my opinion. Like if someone fight a certain way, then I don't think anyone will mind if they make up skills. Like I believe Expllos character Hikari uses a different way of fighting.

Agreed ^^

And Hakuda is Hakuda no matter how you put it. If you put more strength into Hakuda than speed/skill and vice versa, it's still Hakuda. And I'm sure Panchira Torunedo would be used seriously if that's the type of fighting a character uses, as in the character who made the technique.

Plus adding levels/only certain styles of fighting would be bad for the characters who want to use their own styles of fighting, which is why it'd be best to just let people come up with their own moves/styles for Zanjutsu and Hakuda....Or use already existing fighting styles like I'm doing with Hikari (Basic Kendo, Bojutsu, and Iaido. Plus he's going to learn more) instead of setting out specific fighting styles for characters to use.

Kido on the other hand is different as it's split up into Hado, Bakudo, and Kaido.

Bakudō being the type of Kido to seal away enemies, stop their movements, capture them, etc.

Hado, being the offensive side of Kido, to fight with.

Kaido, the Kido type to heal people with.

Kido actually needs to be sorted out into different categories and types, Hakuda and Zanjutsu don't.
