Yay! And yeah, making it open-ended enough for someone to play as a Robin/Nightwing/Batgirl member of the Bat-Family was partially my intention. In fact I got a PM for someone expressing interest for an OC Robin. Batman's been working for a while now, so there might be time enough in the backstory for Nightwing, a Robin or a few and Batgirl to all exist if people want.

Yeah, I really like the team too! Although I could be wrong but I think Batman's potentially been operating the longest out of the heroes we have set up here?

I found it on safebooru with help from Rin. And, um, yay! ^_^ I'll have her up tomorrow.

And the best part is that it means that Eilidh is no longer the only girl on the team. XD

Superhero Name: Ambush Bug

Civilian Identity: Irwin Schwab

Appearance: This looks like a job... FOR AMBUSH BUG!. His suit doesn't come off, much to his chagrin.

Powers and Abilities: Teleportation (capable of jumping between planets), and a vague sense of being watched at all times. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of the deeds of superheroes- and villains.

Biography: Irwin Schwab grew up on the media wave following the Justice League. Here were living, breathing, actual heroes saving people! One day, he vowed that he would aid them however he could. ...The problem, of course, was that he had no superpowers. He didn't have an endless supply of cash, he wasn't princess of an island of warriors, and he wasn't the last son of a dying world. No, he was just Irwin Schwab, college dropout. But, he could help the heroes from the civilian side- as a part of one of the government's secret cleanup crews. During a cleanup job, after an alien ship crash-landed near his hometown, Irwin found a green suit in the wreckage. This suit was obviously alien technology. The problem was, when he touched it to put it in a container, it immediately coated him- or so he says. In fact, he gleefully donned it as soon as he saw the technological bits. He's still not sure of the suit's powers and limits, but on that day, a new hero was born: THE AMBUSH BUG! With his autograph book, he began looking for a place to apply to join the League, eager to aid the heroes of Earth.

Of course, the Ambush Bug suit is technology not of this world- it was meant for the warriors of Apokolips. Darkseid has made attempts to reclaim it, but Irwin's glee at meeting such a major villain is surprisingly disarming, leading them to form something resembling a friendship. Darkseid has elected to let Irwin keep the suit, because "he seems to enjoy it." Darkseid is tight-lipped about removing it though.

A thoroughly entertaining bio, and I applaud you use of a more obscure character from the DCU. 100% approved.

Instead of starting you off on the official Justice League roster I think it would be better to see Ambush Bug trying to prove himself and earn his place in the League. The League members would see him as a bit of a nuisance and an annoyance, but he would eventually earn their respect. Let me know what you think.

Superhero Name: Robin
Civilian Identity: Madison Green
Appearance: "Oh wow I get to wear a costume and everything THIS IS AWESOME!"
Powers and Abilities: Madison is agile and acrobatic, using a variety of gadgets to help her take down her foes. Her main fighting style consists of literally throwing herself at the enemies to knock them down and perform painful takedowns to ensure they won't be getting up any time soon. She uses her acrobatic skills to gain height on her foes in order to do this effectively.
Biography: Madison was, and still is, a cheerful and energetic girl. She is extremely outgoing and friendly, even after taking up the mantle of a crimefighter. Her role as a superhero's sidekick may have even made her more cheerful. After all, in addition to being an extremely friendly girl, Madison is a massive fan of superheroes. She adores the idea of fighting for justice, taking down bad guys and saving innocent people. And to be able to help out with this? That's even better! With the help of her mentor, Batman, she's learned quite well how to quickly take down enemies. However, Madison can sometimes be impulsive and rash, wanting to charge into situations without observing them closely enough.
In spite of her cheerful attitude, Madison has never really had a good family life. She never knew her parents, and it's likely they died when she was very, very young. The foster home that she was later adopted into wasn't abusive, far from it. However, they soon grew so busy that they barely had any time for their adopted daughter. However, they did fund her martial arts lessons, which Madison took almost religiously. After all, it would let her emulate the famous superheroes who used martial arts to defeat bad guys! Madison's love and adoration for superheroes grew more and more throughout her childhood, and it continues to grow even now. This desire to emulate superheroes, to help people and do good, and stop criminals... it drove her to the point of going out on her own to try and stop criminals. And on her first outing, she tried to stop a mugger. Initially having the element of surprise on her side, she managed to knock him down... and then her lack of experience caught up to her and she ended up in a dangeorus situation. Well, even more dangerous. And that... that was when Batman showed up and instantly took down the mugger. Madison, being the massive superhero fan, immediately asked to be his sidekick. He said no.
So she tried again.
And again.
And yet again.
Finally, Batman relented, mostly because he was worried she'd get herself killed without proper training and there was no way to really stop her from trying to go out and fight crime herself. And now Madison is Robin, the Girl Wonder and a superheroine. Well, a sidekick, but that's still a superheroine! Basically, she is living her dream.

Vita I'll pose the same question to you that I posed to clanjos, do you want your character to start as an actual member of the League? Since Robin is a sidekick it would make sense for her to not be an official member of the Justice League, but it's up to you either way.

I would say Robin would be on a probationary type deal. I know Aquaman wouldn't be too happy with her being a fully fledged leaguer due to her apparent inexperience.

I didn't see her being a member yet, mostly so I can do her first reaction to meeting all the other heroes in person.

Ha ha I can already picture the scowl batman will be giving you at that first meeting.

Madison will be so excited to meet the other heroes really. It's preeetty much her dream. Well, that and being a heroine herself.

I can't wait to start having Walt shape-shifting into things and turning into a looney joker lol

And now I read and wait ^w^ I'll try to keep up with everything but if I somehow am not keeping up feel free to PM me whenever you guys transition to a phase I can involve a side character in. I still got a bucket full of names.

Now to try and think of what Batman will be doing. I'd welcome suggestions.
