I can take Tibet being broken off. But a second Japanese Empire somehow taking coastal provinces from them defeats the entire purpose I - and Evan - will need them for. Not to mention after an industrial revolution and historical hate and lessons learned of the Japanese the Chinese would put up a fight that would devastate the Japanese. They do not have the natural means to support an offensive army, or even maintain a significant fighting force anymore.
I don't disagree at all, the amount of land Shadow was hoping to annex is certainly too large. I'm just trying to say that what Darkwolf and I had planned was still going to keep China in a strong position, so people shouldn't worry about China's strength post-war (basically, I was trying to defend both him and I from any blame, as you said pieces of shit, suggesting the presences of more than one raper-of-China :P ).
Anyway, just try to negotiate a little bit more with Shadow is all I suggest. He just hopped in, so I doubt he knew of how paramount it is to a few players that China stays mostly intact. Perhaps instead of taking all of that juicy coastal territory from China he could limit it to some Chinese-held islands in the South China Sea, and perhaps another minor partition (maybe not a land-based one). Assuming Japan struck at China whilst the Indo-Russian alliances was warring with them as well, I don't see it being too outlandish that they could seize a few islands from their much-hated neighbors. That is, assuming they don't head mainland and start another Rape of Nanking or anything and stir the Chinese beehive too much. I'm just trying to think of solutions which make everyone reasonably happy.
