Almost got Abbie done, Remmy's next and thinking about making his a separate post. I'm currently typing it on my phone so it's taking longer then normal but it's getting there! ^-^ (I'm a determined gal.)

Hey everyone. So FreeFall and I are working on something with Joshua (Gunner) and Cass up in Mackinac at the moment. I am also working with Zombie, and together we'll be furthering the Chico plot (Fallen's characters too of course, I just meant the two of us directly collabing). These aren't extensive collaborations, so they shouldn't take relatively long. Look forward to that!

InkBlood, how are you doing? I know we have a couple other new members working their CSs, or perhaps they've gone stale, but you're accepted and free to post. Experiencing any hurtles we can help with?

Finally, a life update. I have been planning to move in mid-July for a while now, but my room-mate is apparently leaving a month prior to that. This caught me by surprise, leases and what not, and unfortunately this means I will be not have any measurable access to internet between June 23rd and July 17th. For me internet access isn't just recreation like the Guild, I've also been freelancing fairly regularly for the last couple of months. Point is that June 23rd until July 17th is the shortest amount of time I'll be away possible. I may have some mobile access, but no connection to the Google Docs or anything of quality. I have an idea of where I'd like to get our general plot by that time, so I hope we all can put our noses to the grind and give this some love. I know we all approach this casually, which I appreciate, but briefly, I'd like to see us all give this a little more time. While I'm gone I'll do my best to update y'all over the OOC, perhaps from a coffee shop or something, but won't have much ability to put up an IC. If y'all have questions or concerns about this let me know. When I go, I trust y'all are capable to lead yourselves, but will probably designate one person to be the deciding factor. Not to create a hierarchy, just so someone can put that fire under us and help our newcomers along. Coolio?

Done? Good. Since Evergreen fell, the Pirate Crew, distraught, sought refuge. When they thought they found it in a place called Fort Riley where they came upon a second group called the New Farmers. Before they could celebrate, one among the crew betrayed the rest (that's Joshua 'Gunner' Evans). The betrayal revealed Fort Riley and Mackinac to the 1007th, the latter the home-haven to one of our PCs, Cassie. This betrayal destroyed any hope for settling down at Riley, and worse, strained the ambitions of the group. Cassie felt obligated to warn Mackinac, Simon followed her, while the rest took another path. After some chaos, in which Remmy and the Sentinels are introduced, we arrived to Post- Guild Fall Apocalyptica. The bulk of our characters are now in Chico while Cassie made it to Mackinac along with, unexpectedly, the traitor, Gunner.

Chico is an expansive, successful, and guarded Haven. It's been a few weeks since the group split up now and it seems the 1007th have their eyes set on the California prize. Meanwhile, a child among the New Farmers is being held in a Chico hospital, thought to be infected or perhaps immune, while the others in Chico are still finding one another deciding what to do next about the 1007th threat -- not to mention their incarcerated friend. Riots are breaking out in Chico as tensions rise and the guards are acting increasingly militaristic. In the north, Mackinac has had its first 1007th sighting already, which produced Gunner to Cassie and the rest of the haven. Like in Chico, Mackinac doesn't personally know the Siege of Evergreen, and therefore don't take the threat as seriously as they should. Basically, things are getting serious and the Pirate Crew might be the only ones who know.

Ink Blood: if you haven't an idea for Dante's intro, I'm open to draw connects to Abbie if you'd like. I know it can be hard to push a PC into a Plotline and what not without having a direct connection of some sort with other PCs it and since Abbie's been in Chico for a few weeks it's not a far fetched idea that him and Abbie might've met. Namely since Abbie's rather good at gerry-rigging things together and even some mechanics, if he's got a vehicle or something engine like, in exchange for stuff from him. It might be ideal to talk about this in a pm and I might even have an idea for a scene if you're interested.

Just jumping off Fallen, since the IC started three weeks since people like Abbie came in, that does give some time for your character to 'know' Abbie even just vaguely. If you want connections like this make sure to hit us up. Some of the characters only came in recently.

Read over the last few IC posts based in Chico and see if there's an opportunity to make your fit. A few things have happened that you could easily rope yourself into without the need for a haphazard store visit. Check'em out and see what comes to mind.

A few problems from that. One, Remmy has a gun and it's not his. And if for some reason he needed a gun of his own, he would just go to an independent Sentinel supplier and make arrangements to retrieve one. Another is the fact he arrived not too long ago into Chico with Simon, unlike Abbie, Coltrane and the Farmers who have been there a few weeks. So he's out for that.

Abbie, while it's not impossible, it is unlikely because she's got one fatal flaw: she's scared of guns. While she can draw, aim and fire off a pistol with minor flinches, anything higher is a no go if she's got alternatives. Like her bow and arrow or knife even. So she's likely out for that connection.

It can still be a confection but my suggestion is don't depend completely on the other PCs making their way to the shop any time soon. You could be waiting there a while for that to happen if it ever does.

Also what Shon says, it could be that Dante's a concern neighbor and after seeing the last night events could end up coming over to see if everyone's alright. They just had a brick through their window and gun fire, so everyone's rather rattle. He could even catch Abbie on her way out.

Maybe he was part of that bar fight earlier and ended up leaving something there so he's heading back to find it. Could even been a recent hire to clean up the mess left behind by the fight for some free drinks. There's a few possibilities witheverything that's happened through out the rp.

Well, I'm finally out of school, so now I have a pretty large amount of time to devote back into Apocalyptica. How;s everyone else doing?

I know I've been experiencing some difficulty with it, either getting an error page or unable to load but I think it is more because of my shifty phone and signal.

The Forum has been going through a few issues, however, Mahz seems to have resolved them. Hopefully that's the end of the screwiness.

@Shon: Yes, we determined Abbie knows Dante from his son. They are also salvaging buddies as Abbie still hunted throughout the weeks they stayed there. We'll likely work on a collab and I'll work on getting Remmy's bit done before Wednesday.

As some of you may know, Shon has handed over the crown reigns of the RP to me to keep things under my rule going. Now, I expect there to be a great amount of change forrowing the erevation of your new Great Reader.

Now on a more serious note, as you might've noticed Shon has changed a few of the details of his account so I might be able to access it and use it to edit in new characters, significant events or other pieces of information so feel free to give me a heads up if you feel anything's missing. I've already been altering negative untruthful facts about my own character and Chicago Tedding the shit out of him granting him more skills in line with his character, so feel free to beg ask if you need anything thrown up like a quote on a certain faction or so.
