why do you care what i say xD, im no authority on the subject, just speaking my mind

edit: is it me or are the new guys just jumping WAAAY ahead of themselves..i mean it took me like two weeks to make my construct and rainator is like every post is exponential growth..i understand catching up but thats way too freaking fast IMO, i mean the keeper conflicts havent even started so there is no rush anywhere

Oh, I'm going too fast? Sorry... I just want to get caught up, 'tis all. Once I catch up, I'll slow down. Although to be honest, I've only got 2 types of creatures and a basic dungeon along with a construct that isn't that strong, so I'm not really that caught up yet.
EDIT: Also, it took you two weeks to get your first construct? It only takes 3 posts to make a construct of your first creature, correct?

Well, I still have only one creature and an imp construct, and I was the second one to post. So, in my eyes at least, nobody else is really behind. And yes R4, it is only three posts.

IMO there is no need to rush at all. Cavartem's really making headline, but a lot of the people who've been here from the beginning haven't made a huge lead. I myself have two creatures, a construct, an adjunct, and fewer than 100 total minions not counting macula.

yes it does take three posts, what i meant was that i gave my construct two weeks thought before i put it into play, it took longer than that actually because the rp has been going on for two months, we all paced the progression of our dungeons to be as realistic as possible, however given your theme your progression isn't that out of place i have to give you that because storms do tend to roll in out of nowhere, but then again they tend to be furious yet short even hurricanes dont last longer than a few days once they leave the sea front

Dr_Trapezoid, feel free to alter Ifrit's appearance in any way you want, or give him a new power or two as a result of Shaige little 'ritual'. It's been pretty common in past RPs for rogue beings to change a bit upon obtaining a new master, but by no means feel forced to change something about your character. I was vague about what would happen to Ifrit, in case you don't want to make anything different from before.

I'm kind of glad you clarified that. I had been planning to tweak Ifrit a bit, and was going to inquire about that soon-ish.

I don't know why, but I'm having a lot of trouble with writing my second post. I know what I want to do, but can't seem to type it out...

I have that problem a lot too. Usually sleep helps.
Or downing a whole bottle of Faygo, but I'm guessing that's not an option in your case.
Also, did you get my PM, Kangutso?

I definitely have that problem. It helps to actually have something planned ahead of time that you can work from. I have a hard time when I wake up and just decide to post and come up with something on the spot. In particular, I find that my posts are of better quality if I run out of time halfway through and finish them later, or if my browser/computer/ceiling just crashes on me. That way I am forced to redo it, and usually for the better.

In my case, I have a plan/idea for my next post, just can't seem to type it.

And yes, DR, I did get your PM. Just haven't gotten around to replying due to frustration at being unable to write more than nine words for my post.

Ah. In this case, I might suggest the Faygo.

Mostly, the paces do not seem to be too fast. Lord Rain's pace of dungeon construction is unusually fast, for he somehow manages to personally attend both the building of rooms, enchanting of weaponry and organising of a Construct all in the same post, but other than that I do not have much to complain about. If they so choose to dedicate some time at the start to creating new minions, that is completely within the rules.

For the record, at this stage, a small army and small Dungeon count as catching up. No need to super-pace beyond that.

Ooh, I want to play the counting game too! Let's see, Xir'ain has... one, two minions, and one construct, and... three quarters of a rogue being! *evil grin*

I'm not entirely sure whether you're intending to have a one-legged giant, or if Xir'ain will somehow patch up the poor fellow. But if it's the first case, it'll be a bit strange writing from the perspective of a giant that crawls around killing things.

Hush now... Xir'ain will "make it better". The armor as well, though that he may opt to replace rather than fix.
