Curious as to what the results are for people here.

I got INFJ

Introvert(67%) iNtuitive(12%) Feeling(12%) Judging(22%)

You have distinct preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (22%)

I think the feeling over thinking was due to the fact I said Yes to having empathy and sympathy to other's situations and stories.
Which is fine, I get how that makes me more feeling. But at the same time a kind of feeling like that shouldn't make me any less thinking.
You can be empathetic and still think about it rationally.

I've done this before, I'm an INFP. =) Works for me, I love being a wishy-washy mush.

MBTI can be a good way to help flesh out your characters, too, along with the Enneagram system. I usually classify my characters with both since the types don't match up to each other and that gives you a pretty unique profile to work with. For example, I'm a type 9 in the Enneagram even though most INFPs turn up as type 4s.

I've done this a few times over the last 3 years and it's been pretty consistent, except that the I was INFJ before. My last couple jobs and experiences up in Olympia really affected me, wouldn't be surprising if that helped me to develop the slight edge toward extroversion. Anyway, I do notice the percentages in the middle are pretty much consistent.

I was surprised when I first saw how high my extraversion score is but looking back on my life these past few years it makes sense to me.

Eh. Not really what I was expecting. I feel like the questions didn't really do a good job of testing me, since there were so many to which I thought "Yeah, but..." and I feel like the way I thought of my answers wasn't really what the test intended a lot of them to mean.

And that's why the test is only a guide, not a factual statement about your personality. Besides, we're all human, we don't always follow programming every time in every aspect. Otherwise we'd be robots.
