Fast on her feet as Elsa was, she tugged Alex to her holding him as an arrowhead pointed to his throat as she took a look at Alex seeing his anger clear in his eyes. "If you have something ill to say, do so. I do not react well around angry atmospheres." She growls softly an animalistic one that warned that she was on the precipice of losing her temper. It was usually the only warning one had, if they were lucky enough to get one from the hot tempered woman who didn't dwell with people for this reason. They kept their emotions and she hated to be so closed off. If she wanted to tear something to pieces, she would then and there. If she had the urge to play and laugh like a child, she did. Her eyes which had been up to then at least friendly lost all kindness to them looking all the world like a sea before a violent storm.

Alex's first thought were incredibly childishly and foolishly hilarious. Something along the lines of the short distance between them and a compliment. Something like "you have beautiful eyes". It would get him killed for sure, but hey, dying laughing is one of the few tolerable ways to go. She would probably find the real reason childish and kill him anyway. Eh, Alex didn't hate life, but he did not care about dying.
"... The deer.... An irreversible act has been committed to only serve a temporary purpose...." Alex says casually referring to the idea of killing an eating it or any animal really. He did not like majority of people's replies to him expressing care for a dead animal anywhere. The typical answer was an insult that was thrown around like nothing. Bastards deserved what was coming to him.Somehow even though he could possibly die right now he found himself losing himself in memories. Returning back to reality he awaited some kind of response.

Elsa breathed a bit evenly and let him go twirling the arrow on her fingers as she thought. "You must be a vegetarian that I heard about. Although I kill to eat I always thank them for their sacrifice after taking the arrow from their hearts. And I always go for the shot that won't let them suffer. Those shots are reserved for enemies." She said understanding a bit that he thought she must be a heartless person when it came to hunting. "And I never go for the young or the mothers." She said putting the arrow back. "I will not apologize for pouncing on you like that. I will, however, say that I have what the people in Manshire say a 'temper hotter than the flames'."

He didn't really expect an apology. He didn't really have any different opinion on her in the case of whether or not she was a good person, he thought she was kind still. It made the hunting part more tolerable though. Not okay but tolerable. He would probably always see her as the person that at least cared about his opinion and washed his coat. A kind person at heart. Allies that always agree on everything wouldn't be fun anyways. She would be interesting to observe for sure. Alex sorta just shrugged it off.

He usually wasn't so passive. On the inside it had stabbed a side of him that has been dying before he came to this world. Soft... Echoes of the past mocked him. He did not leave his world on the best note with the people he considered friends. Small unidentifiable scattered noises of foot steps could be heard echoing the forest. A calmness before the storm.

Elsa appreciated that he didn't mind that she could be as violent as these forests and stood at attention, getting an arrow ready in very little time, looking around the forest as she had heard the footsteps. She tried to by the sound catergarize what it was, if it was humane or monstrous. She tried to pierce the forest with her eyes to see what was there, her forest brother standing next to her, fur standing up as he growls threateningly.

Alex could feel the scattered foot steps also. Scattered and protected by forest. They were definetly by human.
Anger... Sadness.... Terror.... Alex accidentally mumbled his thoughts. Alex was looking around. There were so many of them. Uncountable. The multiple kinds of emotions around him. Alex could not see any of them but they could be heard and sensed.
Detecting so many negative emotions depicted by such a great number had Alex feel more invigorated and his smirk became a somewhat uncomforting actual genuine grin. His thoughts became murky as the amount of negative sentiment powered him. His stance becoming less slouched over and he stood up normally.
"... The voices of these creatures are rather odd..." Alex mumbled to himself. All that could be heard were footsteps though.

Varying in size and in great numbers. The beating of wings was faint also. Human? No. But exactly what they looked like could not be known behind the cover of trees. They were headed in the direction of the village. Alex cracked his knuckles before what appeared to be dark Mist rotated around his hand and became solid shifting into a black knife. Alex wasn't feeling as vulnerable as he did. With so many sources for power he shouldn't. He created another similar knife and held both of them with the blades facing the ground. He did my show the others what he was really capable of yet. "... Lets follow them..." Alex whispers

The thudding of footsteps riddled the forest floor with an uneasy presence. Follow them, what a good idea. Out one battle and into the next. Amber lit a fuse up her arms, and prepared her sword. May the creatures of the forest be worthy of a death laced with fire. Her attitude of the forest, it was fierce, it was hungry and she was willing to feed it. Her patience was dwindling every moment she spent in this Gaia forsaken forest. Amber's eyes narrowed, she kept her mouth shut, but her fists clenched and engulfed in flame. Her sword was red with heat.

Elsa looked to the sky hearing the flap of wings and heard him suggest they follow them. "Did we want to question what they are doing or do we want dead bodies?" She asked as she started to go to the village anyway. For either way, she would shoot whatever was in the sky down to the ground not wanting Manshire to be in trouble as those she called her parents lived there. She would eliminate all threats.

"...Both if the bodies are theirs."In the sky nothing dangerous was visible. The beasts did not seem to be headed in the direction of Manshire but the smaller village made of black wood. when the sound of their steps began to come from a general area and lightened in sound. They were organized. Well somewhat. Alex began to run with his shoes making close to no noise, towards the sound. Knives in hand and running in a somewhat strange manner. Overly confident.

There was a small legion of beasts visible when within viewing sight. At least 100 of them. These thing did not usually come in such great numbers. Something had to be leading them. The legion was filled with many toes of beings. A few infernos and some flying thing making up the majority. The flying thing having a monkey like body but had wings. It's teeth longer then normal. ... Who drugged me... Alex said his thoughts aloud on accident loud enough for anyone near to hear. Luckily the creatures were far too busy making their way to the village.

"Both then. Maybe I'll just leave one alive." Elsa said and fired off an arrow shooting one of the flying monkies, the arrow ripping into sinew of the wings causing it to fall, and shooting down dead three others in very little time, barely thinking about her shooting accuracy, just worrying about killing as many as she could before the monsters reached Manshire.
"Go attack my forest brother. But be careful." She said to the tiger who went out to attack a monster snarling in anger as it scratched and bit.

A small portion of the army began to pay attention to Elsa while the rest walked off to the Dark village. The few that broke off being a few infernos, and what appeared to be flying monkeys... ..No... Volaces is better then flying monkeys With the small portion of the legion coming at them the monsters could be more closely inspected. Infernos were the same as they always have been. Medium-sized, sharp claws and teeth, wolf like shape. The Volaces faction appeared to be made out of mainly dark furred monkeys. Their facial features belonging more to a gorilla. A monkeys body except perhaps slightly more muscular. The most distinct trait to Alex that signified it was not an animal from earth and was another evil being was the Volaces wings. They were either a dark gray, red or black varying on which one. Very scaled looking and rough. The wings being about the size of its body if not larger. If one is left alive maybe they can speak and then questions will bring more about them to light?

The four shot at, three were dead, the other pissed running on its actual lombs rather then damaged wing towards Elsa faster than the rest of the seperated legion. The ones marching towards the
Village not really caring.
The tiger scratches would prove to be much more devastating then the Volaces could have ever expected being capable of overwhelming one of them with a single swipe of the paw.

Alex flexed his fingers and wrapped his fingers tighter around his knives and threw it with practiced precision towards the faction. It impaling one of the Volaces in the eye.

Elsa had very little time to react, but she was used to quick attacks and jumps to avoid a sharp blow by the flying monkey hitting it hard with a foot sending it on its front, and landing on her feet baring her teeth, her eyes once more showing the storm as she stared down the primate. "Stand down or be killed along with your kin." She said trying to figure out what it was so she could communicate with the primate. The bow was on her shoulders a knife in her hands as she stared down her enemy not daring to move unless attacked again. She had her ears and senses open so that she could determine threats beside her, hearing as her forest brother ended the lives of many with a swipe of his paw his sharp claws ending it swiftly.

The beast yelped as it fell and hit the ground. It's attempts to regain to footing while shaking off a bit of dirt and pebbles in its fur. It did not respond. If it could communicate it chose not to. It screeched and attempted to charge again, unfazed by the kick.

Alex stabbed and cut through a few of them. Alex knew of a quicker way of dispatching all of the creatures in this part of the faction. He dropped his lines and they vanished into mist as he leaped into a tree while looking at Elsa mouthing the words "follow". He had a plan of a sort.

Elsa had looked around the forest seeing Alex in a tree and the word 'follow' escape his lips. She brought the blade down into the monkey ending its life and placed two fingers in her mouth whistling sharply and shortly as she went towards the tree Alex was in her forest brother following after her. She placed the blade into the tree for leverage onto a branch and took out the blade as she climbed up easily. Not as easy as the tiger who used its claws to climb she was below his branch looking up at him. "So what is your plan Alex?" She asked hoping he did have some plan looking at the monsters.

Amber climbed up the tree deactivating her fire weapons and waited to hear said plan.
Alex just smirked and looked back at her then at the group of monkeys on the ground. "... Carousel of Punishment..... kinda." He said before placing his hand into the air with black mist appearing. A monkey was climbing the tree upward but would soon stop. Alex just continued to smirk when he let the mist fall to the ground. It becoming more like dust. When it hit hit the ground it erupted into multiple spikes pointing upward. The spikes spreading like a fire within the proximity of the group of weak beasts. The spikes impaling all of the creatures in the small group. Not necessarily killing. Alex moved his hand off the side of the tree with his palm towards the ground ,the spikes around the actual tree disappearing with the rest remaining. Many of the monkeys screeching in pain or now now unable to. Alex's fedora slightly tilted to shade his face. "...Shall we follow the rest?" Alex asked while viewing his work.

Elsa watched as Alex performed his little trick with the black smoke turning into dust, making the stuff into spikes and killing the immediate monsters around that area. She looked at him a bit surprised that he was able to do that. "That...is a useful skill. Remind me to not get on your bad side if I can avoid it." She said in a slight teasing manner for sooner or later, she always got on someone's bad side. It was usually the blunt way in her speaking. She wondered what it would be. "Never a dull moment, although this out brake of monsters is odd. In the many years I've lived here they've never been that organized. So maybe they were ordered to in some way. Probably mental as the monsters would communicate. Or refused to. Either way, it has to be a person with the ability to get into any mind and tell it what to do. Possibly hundreds of them." She theorized, never having met such a person or having seen such an ability, but then again, as stated she didn't leave this forest unless she absolutely had to. So, to her, anything could be possible.
