Name:
Hoshiko Koizumi
Appearance:
Hoshiko is a vibrant young woman, with bright, cerulean eyes and almost shining golden locks. Some have wondered if she just dyes her hair and uses contacts, but she never tells the truth. After all, the mystery is what's fun! She stands at about 5' 8", and is of a slender build. Hoshiko can almost always be seen in flowing blouses and skirts, as they give her a feeling of lightness and freedom. The young lady also has an affinity for all kinds of flowers, often wearing a floral headband or keeping a bloom in her hair.

The silver ring: Once in a heightened emotional state, Hoshiko makes a circle in the air, from which her Persona bursts forth.
Personality:
Hoshiko, true to the name of "star child", practically radiates happiness. Her bright demeanor and almost constant optimism brings a light to the room that seems to banish all of the darkness. Many often flock to her, though she does not necessarily strive to be the center of attention. She simply attracts it naturally. The girl is hardly ever bored, as she is always invited to some party or gathering, or focusing on school work. Hoshiko is brave, and talks to new people as if she's known them for ages.
Though, she is hardly fearless. Since she is constantly surrounded by people, Hoshiko fears loneliness. It often makes her feel sadness at first, but prolonged isolation can leave her shaken and utterly helpless. Hoshiko also sometimes feels like she lets those around her down, even with small things, often causing her tremendous guilt over time. She grows attached quickly, and trusts too easily, which has been the root of most of her problems. The girl simply believes and confides in those around her, and hopes they won't tear her heart in two.
Backstory:
The Koizumi family never really had any issues. They had two lovely daughters, one little Hoshiko and a girl three years older, Akiko. Their parents worked rather decent jobs, allowing them to live comfortably and with only occasional hiccup. Mrs. Koizumi worked as a secretary for a very prestigious company, and Mr. Koizumi was the manager at a car factory. While this sometimes meant that the girls didn't see one or the other until late at night, they were still a happy family that spent their holidays together on some adventure to the beach or amusement park. The Hoshiko and Akiko did nearly everything together, despite the small age gap, and were best friends in addition to siblings.
This continued all the way until Hoshiko was 12, making Akiko 15. The two were walking home from a school festival at night, as they had helped clean up. It was a gorgeous, clear night, with all of the stars shining brightly. They lived in a city, and their house wasn't very far away, maybe 15 to 20 minutes from the school. They had left their bikes. As they walked, some construction forced them to take a few back alleys. It was in these alleys that thieves were lying in wait, blades in hand. They had nothing to steal, and when the criminals realized this, they turned their knives on the girls. In an effort to save her sister, Akiko blocked the assailants and told her to run, saying that she'd be right behind her.
As Hoshiko ran out of the alley, a scream sounded behind her. Tears were blinding her as she ran, straight to the police. She led them to the crime scene, where her sister lay bleeding, suffering from multiple stab wounds. When they got her to the hospital, Akiko had already lost too much blood. The older Koizumi girl died that night.
Locking herself in her room, Hoshiko blamed herself for the tragedy. Maybe if she stayed, they would have taken her and Akiko could have escaped instead. Maybe she could have stopped them somehow. Her parents fell into depression as well, though they did not blame their youngest daughter. In fact, her isolation made them worried. She would hardly eat, and wouldn't come out, not even for school. Her grades suffered, and she would have to be held back a year.
Using a large chunk of their funds, the Koizumis got Hoshiko a therapist, who was able to help her see the love that her sister had for her, and to cherish the gift Akiko had given her. Afterwards, she was able to find the light in life again, and became the radiant Hoshiko from before the incident. However, the scars were there. It was just a matter of hiding them.
Now in high school, and moved to a new city for a fresh start, Hoshiko is once again trying to find friends, and is looking forward to the road ahead.
Persona Name:
Cupid
Persona Appearance:
ClickyArcana:
Lovers
Skills:
Skewer, Sukukaja, Dia
Strengths and Weaknesses:
In terms of strengths, Cupid is great at Support magic, excelling at boosting speed and healing. She is also inherently swift, and able to deal damage from a distance with her bow. While she does have skill with the bow and accuracy, she is not offensively focused, nor is she remarkable in defense. In fact, her defense is where she is weakest. This means that on their own, Hoshiko and Cupid may have issues defending themselves. Cupid is weak to Ice and Darkness, and resists Wind.
Shadow Self Appearance:
Shadow Hoshiko is much less bright than Hoshiko herself. Her eyes are a piercing shade of sickening violet, and her hair is jet black. The flowers that normally adorn her head are wilted and dead. The flowing clothes that she normally wears are tattered and torn, as if they had been stabbed, but no wounds exist on her pale and sickly flesh. They are also black in color, and more resemble a dark robe than a blouse and skirt. Her footsteps are stained in blood.
Shadow Self True Appearance:
The true Shadow Hoshiko takes the form of a pale woman, with dark purple eyes, long fangs, and raven hair. She has wings of jet black, and wears a crown of bones. Shadow Hoshik also wears and extravagant black gown, with jewelry made of bones. A skull hanging around her neck has the name "Akiko" carved into it, and the other bones have the names of friends and acquaintances engraved in them. She wields several floating knives.
Shadow Self Personality:
The Shadow believes she is the most important individual in town, and thinks that no one should pay attention to anyone but her. She thrives off of praise, and is awfully full of herself. She also has no issues in pulling others along, and will openly state that Hoshiko is glad her sister died instead of her. The creature even goes as far as to suggest others to sacrifice themselves for her as well. She reveals anything about Hoshiko to get under her skin and break her, not one dancing around the subject.
