Sasha laughed outloud at the supposed cockiness of the person. "You don't know who you are messing with. We are members of Phoenix tail and we will bring you down a notch!" She nodded to Angelo, following after him. She wasn't afraid to die. And she guessed you needed a bit more then power to simply blow someone's heart out.

She didn't think anyone could do that. She chuckled, and was prepared to attack at a moments notice. She started to the next room, glancing about. Messing with the dead, disturbing the rest was offensive to her. So she would stop this.

"If he was all powerful like he seems to believe, I think he'd be able to control more then one skeleton" she said with amusement

no kidding, such an obvious bluff. however maybe hes only using one skeleton because he is reserving his power for one big attack. regardless we need to kick him out fast" Angelo said trying to think of this from a tactical perspective since even with a bluff he would try to back it up with some kind of army unless he had something special in mind for us but now the only issue was finding his hideout which was no doubt deeper in this crypt "we need to keep moving" Angelo said simply making the lightning orb in his hand for a light as he lead the way in deeper

Edwin woke up. Where am I? Then he remembered. He was in a warehouse. A cold, dusty, old warehouse that he had found on the streets of Fiore. He groaned as he got up off the mattress he had found in there. To join the guild, all he would do would be to ask the guild master... right? Well, he would figure that out once he got there. He walked with his hands in his pockets, weaving through all the people. Eventually, he got to the guild. He quickly put a smile on his face. and walked towards the guild, entering it. He looked for where the jobs board was, so he knew where to find it later. He found it, and he went towards one of the tables, sat down, and waited for the guild master to appear from, well, wherever he was at the moment.

Deanna watched as someone walked into the guild hall. "Hey wait!" She called as she scrambled to get to her feet and grab her bag. Clearly the boy didn't hear her because he walked into the guild hall with little hesitation. Sighing Deanna brushed the dirt off her butt and slowly walked into the guild hall. She stood awkwardly at the door for a moment before making her way to a table where the boy she had called to just sat. She mustered up a bit of courage and walked over to him. She quickly observed him and after not seeing a visible guild mark she tapped in his shoulder. "Excuse me. Your not a member of this guild are you?" She questioned uncertainly. She didn't want to offend him if he happened to actually be one.

After walking for a few moments, Elliott quickly noticed Amelia struggling with her Ankle causing him to furrow his brow. Poor girl He thought. "Would you like me to carry you?" he asked, looking down to the small girl. "It looks like your ankle hurts a lot still."

Edwin felt someone tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw someone there, asking him a question. "Nope" he said. He leaned back and put his feet on the table. "At least, not for now. I will once the guild master is here". "I suppose you aren't a member either. At least for now. Am I correct in assuming that?" He pretty much could tell she wasn't. She didn't have a guild mark. At least, not a visible one. Also, if she was here for just a little amount of time, she would have already known that he hasn't been here yet, and hence, he couldn't be a member.

Deanna smiled, "Nope I'm not a member either so I guess we came here for the same thing." She took a seat near him and placed her bag on the floor then extended her hand for him to shake. "I'm Dean." She stated with a smile. "You are?" She asked not trying to be pushy it was simply habit for her to ask.

He saw this person called Dean reach out her hand. Probably for a handshake. There is nothing else it could be. He shook her hand. "My name is Edwin. Nice to meet you, Dean". He thought about what to talk about. It would be hard to find something that she isn't uncomfortable with, as he didn't really know her. "I have light magic. Essentially, I can shoot light beams and do a few other stuff. What kind of magic do you know?"

Deanna practically beamed when Edwin brought up the topic of magic. It wasn't hard to make her happy but she absolutely loved getting the chance to bring up her magic. "I use Energy magic, essentially it is a support magic. I can enhance anybody's magic though with practice I should be able to weaken it too." She continued her smiling as she looked around then spoke again. "Of course I can do more than strength other's magic. But the other things I can do aren't as cool or useful, except for maybe the force fields I can make." She stopped talking and turned a little red. "I'm sorry I was rambling wasn't I?" She questioned, a little embarrassed.

"Huh... carry me?" Amelia said, somewhat surprised. She knew she shouldn't be, given how Elliot had been kind enough to carry her earlier, but she still wasn't used to people interacting with her or being kind to her. She was going to summon Shin or Atticus to carry her after the journey got too hard but given that Elliot had given her the option." Well... if it won't bother you I guess... I guess it'll be fine."

With a small nod to Amelia and a smile he said "Of course not," he reached down and lifted Amelia, one arm in the crook of her knees and one supporting her back. Elliott walked into the forest, with the small girl in her arms for no more than two minutes before he said "Here we are." He walked around one final tree to reveal a small clearing. A bit of water bubbled over a path of rocks, slowly carrying fallen leaves away from their parent trees. Elliott set Amelia down on a soft patch of grass at the base of a tree and sat against another one himself just a couple paces away. "So is this private enough?" Elliott asked, closing his eyes and enjoying the light babble of the water.

"Yeah... it's private enough." Amelia said, slowly moving over to small stream and putting her hand in the water, a small smile playing on her lips. This place reminded her of old memories" This place actually reminds me of a lot of things. You see... I can't remember my real parents. They abandoned me in the middle of some woods when I was little. I don't know why but I don't care why either. Maybe I wasn't good enough for them or maybe they were afraid of my ability... you see, I can see the dead. To me they're like normal people. I can see them, talk to them, and even touch them as if they were solid. That may be why they abandoned me. But it might've been my heart as well... I just don't know and I've given up on finding out why.

Either way I spent a long time in some woods, very similar to this. There were a lot of spirits there, but the two that looked after me were Atticus and Shin. If it weren't for them I might have died from starvation, thirst, or my heart. But they looked after me for years and to me they're my closest friends... my guardians who will never leave my side. I hope you understand why they got so upset earlier. They've devoted themselves to keeping me safe.

Anyway, Ellis was the first one to find me. It took her a while, I don't remember how long, but I didn't leave until she found a way for me to bring Atticus and Shin with me. Once she finally got me out of the woods she took me to her place and began looking after me. She taught me everything I know. Eventually we moved here and... and she vanished. She left me... just like everyone else... after all who wants to be with a girl who can see and talk to people who others can't see and summon monsters from their nightmares."

By the end of her story Amelia was in tears again but it was understandable. Losing one of the people closest to her and had shown her so much kindness after years of isolation except for a few dead spirits. Every time she thought about it, it felt like someone was sticking a hot knife in her heart.

((OOC: Just a reminder, just like her magic and ability to see spirits, Amelia has kept her heart condition a secret from most members of the guild. Only the guild master will know since Ellis told him... her... whichever.))

Elliott sat against the tree, silently listening to Amelia's tale of woe, trying to keep his own composure. When she had finished Elliott remained silent for a few moments taking it in. He could deal with strange things and even scary things but only if he knew they were coming. seeing the dead, he didnt really see coming and it took him a moment to think about it. "Amelia." he said, "I don't know what to say to you. It sounds like you have endured so much hardship yet here you are." Elliott stood up and toke the few steps to reach Amelia. He sat down again next to her and wrapped her in a big slightly awkward hug. "I'm sorry"

Amelia was so lost in her memories she didn't notice Elliot move closer or that he was talking to her until he was hugging her. The fact that he did so caught her off guard and once again her face turned red as a tomato as a result of his action.
"Why are you saying you're sorry. You haven't done anything wrong." she said as she fought back her tears as best she could. She didn't want to appear weak, she didn't want to have Elliot see her cry. But the battle was a losing one. She tried to never think of Ellis so that she would never start tearing up and possibly crying in front of others. However, now all the good memories she had with her adoptive mother were racing through her head, each memory making it harder and harder to keep the tears in check until finally she just gave up and began crying. She tried to hide her face so Elliot wouldn't see but given how he was holding her that was proving rather difficult.

"I dont know a lot about hardship, not nearly enough to know what you must have gone through." Elliott said, letting Amelia get it all out, "You are a wonderfull girl and to me you are family. I am sorry that I cant take all your hardships away, you dont deserve them."

Sasha moved closed to Angelo, to see via his light. And she wouldn't lie. It felt safer being close to him, then it did walking not as near in a crypt of the dead. She continued walking down the hall, prepared at a moments notice to attack, or defend. "You won't fall if I have to make the floor freeze?" She asked him, glancing over. She ran a hand through her hair, uneasy.

Aedius had only put a single skeleton in the first room as he expected one to be enough to scare away Valford citizens. He actually took many precautions in the event that that skeleton had died. The second room contained two zombies, and an eager skeleton rogue who crouched in the bottom left corner, awaiting the arrival of the intruders so that he may attempt to sneak attack them using a rusted, and potentially infected dagger. The two zombies lacked weapons, and made up for it by having varying diseases applied with scratches and bites, and being slightly more resistant to certain forms of damage than skeletons are.

Aedius had found his desired spell, and began casting it by reciting the words to the spell. Two green magic seals appeared next to the throne, and would remain there until the spell was complete. He had actually written this spell in the book himself, and it was really a simple combination of two other spells. It would take time to complete, but Aedius would have a chance as long as his undead minions would stall the intruders.

I'll try not to" I said giving her a small smile as we entered the second room seeing the zombies at either end of the hall "you need to freeze the zombies" I told her and I made a magic circle appear as I said " jolt magic: Zeus bolt!" I called but I didn't throw it as I held it in my hands like a sword just in case

"Not really. Well, kind of, yes. But, I don't really mind that much." Edwin said. "Though, from the sounds of it, you were pretty much done explaining what you can do with your magic. Maybe now we should just talk about some of our strengths. Stuff not related to magic. Might as well. I'll go first". He took a few seconds to think about what some of his strengths are. "I guess for me, I am quite agile. I have always been quite fast. I am somewhat good at fighting without magic. Not the best, but not bad. Lastly, I am very determined, not letting anyone or anything get in my way of, well, whatever I am trying to do or get. Now it's your turn. What are some of your strengths. They don't have to be anything battle related."

Deanna thought for a moment. "Well I'm optimistic, I get along with pretty much everyone and I'm not very easy to anger, though that last part is probably a little obvious." She looked around the guild hall. "I wonder where the guild master is, I think we are starting to get weird looks." She looked at some of the other members who quickly turned away when she noticed them. "So..." She said as she thought of something to say. "What brings you here? I decided to join the guild after a couple years of traveling. My father died a couple years back so I didn't really have anywhere to go." She stated calmly, a frown never touched her face but her smile slightly faltered when she spoke. She didn't mind if people knew what happened to her in her past, what happened happened and there was no changing it now.
