Music blared loudly from Izak's headphones as he headed out of the bar. His shift was thankfully done, giving him the freedom to do whatever he wanted. And right now, he wanted to go home.

He hummed along to the lyrics, thankful that no one was around to hear. Izak headed into an alleyway, unfazed by the graffiti stained walls and garbage. It was the quickest route to his house. Despite its shady appearance, There was usually no trouble when passing through. Usually. Izak slowed and his humming grew quiet as he spotted a large creature sitting a few feet in front of him. If the devil had a dog, then this beast would've been it.

"You're one ugly hound," Izak snorted as he attempted to step around the monstrous dog. Wrong move. The canine growled deeply and snapped its jaws, causing the boy to tumble back. Izak bit his tongue to keep from screaming as the hound advanced. It's eyes glowed with murder, and for a second Izak briefly wondered if this thing was even a dog. Izak shook the thought away and sprinted from the alleyway, the hound giving chase. His heart beat wildly as he looked around. There had to be someplace to hide. His eyes focused on a cafe up ahead. Perfect.

He barrelled through the door and slammed it shut. He could feel the curious eyes of customers bore into him and he quickly regained his composure. Seeing a vacant table, Izak plopped down. Perhaps a coffee could help him calm down while he figured out what the hell that thing was.

She feel a light breath. Delilah stared up at the girl who hovered over her table, she stared down at her coffee, then back at the girl's face. "Ahem... Would you... Like a sip?" She grabbed a napkin and wiped off her lipstick stain that smudged the mug.
What an odd child, she appeared to be young and rather outgoing, a possible character for her novel?

Delilah held her cup out towards the girl, waiting for her to take it. "I'm Delilah."
It would be best to put on a friendly face, even if she wasn't good with children. "Where are your parents?" The halfling had a curious glint in her eyes.

The child reminded her of when she first came to this town, for a moment she appeared to be reminiscing about her past.

Avery sat under a shady tree, the gentle breeze blowing the pages in the romance book she was reading, The Notebook. This is one she has loved for as long as she could read. It felt so familiar, which she liked. Her golden-blonde hair flowed way below her shoulders and her deep blue eyes glimmered in the bright sunshine.
Avie sighed with both relief and disappointment. It was a relief that she was away from the hordes of crowds and humans, and relieved that she finally got a break from her training. But all this time alone had made her think about home and family. She was homesick, that's for sure, but she had to remember this WAS her home from now on. Besides, Eyensford was beautiful, so picturesque compared to London. Despite this, there was no forgetting home, and how lonely she was in this new town.

Flint wondered why the girl wasn't talking "Well I am on my way to the café .. why where you running so fast?" The girl intrigued Flint, he wasn't really one for social interaction, he couldn't get close to people because his cover might be blown. The downside was he lived a rather lonely life but that was the sacrifice he had to take when in his field of work. Flint began to walk again, hoping the girl would walk with him.

She started to walk beside him, rummaging through her bag, pulling out a notebook and pen. Quickly scribbling down something then tapping the mans shoulder. 'Im kind of late for work' she took her notepad back once he had read it then quickly wrote something else 'sorry, I can't actually talk, I'm mute" she opened her mouth to show a small stub where her tongue used to be.

As Grant got the book he wanted, he left the pay on the counter, and headed for the door. With a small 'clink' the door opened, and he walked away. He would probably read it in the Cafe by himself while drinking something. Or maybe eating something. He didn't know. He walked down the pavement and walked into the Cafe, the ringing of doorbells filling his ear. He checked the money he had in his small wallet.

'I'll get a doughnut.' He thought. And he did. He got two doughnuts and sat at a table, reading and eating by himself...

Flint was glad the girl followed and quickened his pace when he realised the girl was late.
The girl wrote something else down, 'sorry, I can't actually talk, I'm mute" she opened her mouth to show a small stub where her tongue used to be.
"How did something like that happen?" Flint asked, slightly worried about asking. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want but..it is the blaring question here" Flint smiled awkwardly. The girl was probably the most interesting person he had ever met, and yet he knew nothing about her.

She laughed a little and nidded, but did have to for a moment and then jot something 'was just born without one' she wanted to slap herself, it wasnt the most convincing lie she had come up with, but the best she could do, she then wrote down something else 'weird introductions aside, I'm Nirvana' She smiled up at the man.

Shocked that she was noticed let alone offered a taste of the drink that smelled so good, Aiko jumped at the chance for a taste of the mysterious drink. She could tell the drink would be hot, but she took the mug as quickly as she could without spilling any with a small, indirect "Thank you." She hesitated before taking a sip, looking at the dark liquid carefully. By the time she was asked about her parents, Aiko took a sip of the black coffee. "YUUCK! Agh, that's so bitter......" Looking up at the person who's coffee she took, her attitude quickly turned around, although not really into an apologetic way but with a big friendly smile she normally has. "Oh, I'm sorry. Um, I don't have any parents," she said joyously with a change in attitude. "I mean, there not dead or missing or anything, I just don't have any. Oh! And my name's Aiko. Nice to meet you!" Getting a little tired of standing, she took the seat across from Delilah.

Flint nodded, 'at least she hadn't had it cut out at a young age by some psycho...'
Flint smiled "Nirvana... am I saying it right?" Flint asked, they where now just a street away from the café.
"Im Flint by the way." Flint said as they quickened there pace slightly until they got to the front door. "I guess I will meet you inside? I imagine you have to go sign in or something round back?" Flint had no idea how working there worked so probably sounded stupid.
"Seya later" He smiled awkwardly then went into the café and sat at a table. A woman seemed to be working on some papers as a young girl talked to her.
Flint sat at a table not to close and waited for someone to serve him.

She smiled and nodded, waving to him, as to say goodbye, before she quickly hurried to the back. She signed in with the book out the back before putting on her apron, washing her hands and tying her short choppy black hair up into a tiny bun, then going to work with. She had to admit, she wasn't a great waitress, mainly the fact she could never suggest anything. But the cafe kept her, mainly for cleaning though, She hated cleaning, But today they seemed short of staff so she was going out to take orders. It wasn't massively full, mostly regulars and people having breakfast before work. She saw Flint and smiled, walking over she waved happily and pulled out her little pad, as to say 'What would you like?'

Flint looked up as Nirvana walked over. She had a notepad. She must be doing orders today.
"Oh ermm. A weak coffee, bacon and toast." He said confidently. Wondering how hard it would be to not be able to speak in a waitressing role..
He glanced outside to the parking lot and then to the small window that showed the reverse of the building. Only a few hours until his drug bust..
Flints hand was shaking a little so he placed it under the table to hide it. He looked back to Nirvana "That's all for now" He smiled.

She nodded and wrote it down. Watching him, his hands shook a bit and he hid them, she hid a frown and when he told her that was all she gave him a thumbs up and scurried off. She also was an alright cook, so when the cooks were busy she made a couple of small things. Nirvana made Flint his weak coffee, then cooked up his bacon and made his toast. After around 10 minutes or so she brought out Flint's order and placed it down in front of him, noticing him looking out the window a bit. She took a bit of paper from her note pad and wrote down 'Are you nervous about something?'

The only things that were floatin' around Z's mind was what'll he'll encounter in the hobby store today. Hopefully it would be a customer who actually purchased something and not checking out his ladies that he could summon. It's funny really, the store's run by Z only and his summoned heroes. They're dressed like normal people except for Lico, who already wore a gothic dress that everybody seem to enjoy.

He flipped the card that said 'closed' into 'open' and turned on the LED lights on the counter so that others know that he's opened. There was rustling along the storage area before Zegar emerged. "Damn it Zegar! I told you to stop doing that!" As soon as he saw him, he dismissed the summon and called forth Selena to help him out. "Sorry Selena. Zegar was just at it again. Watch the counter for me will you?" With one glance of her sapphire eyes she nodded, before looking at her blouse and short pants she donned and walked behind the counter.

Z walked inside the storage room to order the mess Zegar made. The guy was strong, but he was reckless and clumsy.

Flint sipped at his coffee. Looking to the notepad.
'Are you nervous about something?'
"No.. don't worry about it" He smiled "Im fine"
He had another sip of coffee. and began to place the bacon on the toast. He began to eat.
"Just...don't go around back at eleven.." He said nodding to where the back of the café was.

She frowned slightly, shaking her head and writing down 'I don't like the sound of that, but ok, Enjoy your meal' She the wrote something else and placed the piece of paper on the table before pulling on a timid smile and walking back to the kitchen. The other words on the paper were 'Be careful'

He stood behind the register, putting a cigarette in his mouth but not lighting it .
Today was rather busy, quite a few stressed auras could be seen.

"Coffee can be bitter, I can add creamer in it for you next time." Next time? What was Delilah talking about? She placed a hand on her forehead and let out a small sigh. How could she let herself say that? "Ahem... So uh, you're like an orphan?" Delilah raised her head and picked up her bagel, taking a small bite out of it before she moved her papers away from Aiko, fearing that the girl may snatch one and take a peek. "Did you just move here?" As she sifted through papers, Delilah shot another glance at the girl.

Children weren't her favorite, most seemed to like her but she could never handle their energetic behavior. They resembled puppies in a way.

Flint placed the note in the top pocket of his shirt as he continued eating. He checked his watch and saw that it was half ten. He would soon have to confront the dealers.
Probably just some teenagers , he would flash his badge and arrest them. Piece of cake.
Flint finished his bacon and toast and sat back, glancing to the woman with all the papers once again and snooping in on there conversation.
