Nearing the school, Arthur couldn't help feeling slightly overwhelmed by the sights that greeted him. They were just so many people, and the young Mythic had never been particularly fond of crowds.

There were even more students on the grounds, an exotic array of individuals ranging from those with tails, wings, or fangs, to those who appeared more or less human. It was the ones who looked human that left Arthur curious. He wondered what exactly lay beneath each facade.

As Arthur neared the arched entryway, he noted a handful of individuals that caught his attention. A few feet away from him stood a gargantuan man talking not-so-eagerly with the blond at his side. Another pair in front of him, a young man with a cane and a girl, seemed immersed in their own conversation. Arthur caught snippets of it as he walked past- something about wolves.

The Academy's main doors open in front of him, Arthur entered into a brightly lit hall filled with stern-looking professors and even more students.

It was then that Arthur's hunger made itself known. His stomach grumbled loudly, a reminder to the boy that he had not eaten for several hours since he had left his apartment, and that even almost-immortals needed sustenance. "Great. Maybe I can find someone who can lead me to the kitchen-"

"Food?"

Arthur paused, turning to look at the figure hidden at the side of the entrance. It was a woman. Her appearance, albeit feral looking, matched the honey-rich tone of her voice. Arthur knew he was staring. Mentally wincing, the Phoenix quickly replied (though he knew the question was in no-way addressed to him).

"Uh...I'm guessing you're looking to grab a bite as well?"

"I see." He said softly, making his way under the arch that led to the academy itself. He knew of the arch's presence because it blocked the sun from hitting him, and he lost the warm feeling that he had before because of it. He could assume that translating wolfspeak into a human language would be much harder than simply understanding wolves, and decided not to dwell on it further than needed. He did have a question though, and he was curious as to how she was here. "If you lived with wolves, then how did you get a letter?" He assumed that she had gotten a letter like he did but wasn't sure. at all

Lily was silent for a moment or two, glancing up at the arch .She let out a soft sigh, "I left when I was sixteen. It was my choice. My She-wolf mother was ill, and I'm not technically a pack member, or of her body. She was the She-alpha, so...I couldn't stay. There would be fighting for that position and...while they were my pack, I wasn't one of them, because I could shift so...it was safer for me to leave. I learned to talk, to walk, to live as a human" She said softly, "Do you know how hard it is to live in the world, when you don't even have a birth certificate. I don't exist. I learned computer skills real fast to make an identity for myself."

She fell silent for a minute more, "I guess they can find you anywhere, because they found me, and I got a letter"

Raphael watched as the object of his interest entered the school with the rest of the arriving students, then finally he made his own way across the field and towards the school. He entered quietly, moving with great stealth, and he slipped through the door into the castle, fading into the shadow, his dark complexion making him once more completely invisible, except for his eyes, which shone out of the corner where he stood like pale fireflies. Since he was much closer now, anyone who saw him would see his eyes quite clearly and would be able to discern the same strange outline.

He still watched the same canine woman, but now that he was closer he could smell another scent he recognized coming from her, along with the scent of canine. It was the faint odor of brimstone, and with that knowledge, her species clicked in his mind. She must be a hell hound! He'd heard of such dangerous and glorious creatures in his travels, but had never met one before. He'd been under the assumption that they either did not exist, or were so rare that it was unlikely he would ever meet one. Yet here she was, standing before him. He'd always admired the ruthlessness and power of the hell hounds in the stories he'd been told.

As he watched her, her intelligent eyes darting around and taking in her surroundings, then asking after food, he couldn't help but grin, exposing his shining white canines. He doubted that she would find anything suitable to eat in this place. As far as he was concerned, the only food worth eating was what you could hunt yourself.

Abe looked down at the man before him, stunned at what he had just been told. An Immortal. A man who saw Rome at its height, and then everything between then and now. If Abe would have met this man a few years ago he would have wrote him off as crazy, but things have most definitely changed since then.

Marx said "So what's the deal with the arms?" Jesse glanced behind him, bumping into a young woman, "Sorry love," he said quickly, looking back towards the hulk, "You oughtta be prouder of your appearance now. You're unique. We got plenty of fairy and demon bullshit around here," Jesse gave a wide motion with his hand, swiping a fella with horns across the back of his head. If Jesse noticed, he didn't mention it this time. "Seize the fuckin' day and lose the bandages Frank. They're hiding something and to be honest, you're kinda killing our image." Jesse said, as if they had already teamed up, "We're both one of a kind hombre and now that I think about it, we'd make a pretty solid cop duo. I'd be the good cop who's,,, well, technically alive forever and you'd be my sorta dead sidekick who plays the bad cop and roughs up the perps!"

"Well...you do have a point. I guess I don't really have to hide anymore." Abe threw the dufflebag from his shoulder onto the ground. Carefully, Abe began to unwind the bandages that covered his arms. Slowly his arms began to appear from under the layers of bandages. The metals and diodes glittered in the sunlight, and a soft whirring may be heard. Abe also shrugged off his long coat, revealing a series of large coils that ran down his back. Occasionally a bolt of electricity would arc from one coil to the next. "Is this better?" Abe said to his new companion. "However I think we have a problem with the whole cop thing," Abe pointed at his upper lip, a part of it actually torn to reveal a bit of bone underneath. "I can't grow a sweet-ass copstache. So I guess that means we are back to square one." Suddenly Abe's stomach let out a low rumble. "I don't know about you, but I need some grub. Do you know where a guy can find food in this joint?"

"Excellent!" the immortal grinned when Frank revealed his extremely Frankenstein's monster-esque form, "Now we just need a hunchback and I need a lab coat! We don't even need to do the whole cop routine then!" When Abe mentioned that he was hungry, Jesse was admittedly surprised. He had assumed that like himself, the walking dead didn't need to eat. Franks hunger for actual food certainly made the typical zombie flick make a bit more sense at the very least. "Uh, I'm sure there's a few places around here. Like a cafeteria or something along those lines. Shall we?" Jesse shrugged and gave a nod toward the building, starting to walk toward the academy.

Jesse drifted from person to person as they approached the building, asking each person that he approached where the mess hall was. When the first person gave him directions, Jesse clasped the boy's face between his hands, exclaiming "Finally, someone knows they're way around. Thank you you beautiful bastard!" Jesse let go of the man's face and gave him a shove on the chest, throwing a wave towards his undead companion as he made his way inside. "Might wanna duck," He said, giving a glance back at the behemoth of a man (or multiple men, in Abe's specific case). In a crowd, Jesse had a tendency to bend other's wills to him, this especially clear when he walked freely through the crowded hall to the cafeteria, those that stood in his was being ushered out of his way with a gentle guiding hand. When they made their way to the cafeteria, Jesse walked to the first table and sat down, there were a few others sitting, casual talking and eating, pausing as Jesse dropped into his seat and swung his feet up onto the table. "Don't worry boys, I don't mind ya'll takin my table." He grinned, looking back at Abe, "You go and grab a bite, ya? I'm sure these boys will be more than happy to make room for us," he turned his gaze back toward the table, the boys' eyes fixated on the monolithic man before them, "Won't you?"

It filled Abe with a sense of pride that Jesse actually liked his grotesque form. Usually people scream, or run away, or shoot him, or try and set him on fire, and there was that one time when a whole town got together with pitchforks and torches...Abe snapped back into reality as Jesse took off towards the main building. Following Jesse was easier said than done, as his nimble frame was able to move through the crowd with ease. Abe on the other had at to practically wade though the crowd, bumping into people and apologizing the entire way. Approaching the academy Abe almost hit his head on the door frame, but luckily Jesse warned him.

After a short walk down a few hallways they arrived at a large cafeteria. There were a few students sitting at various tables around the large room.

Abe noticed the kids were staring at him, with a mixture of fright and fascination. "Ummmmm...... do any of you guys need anything when I go to get anything?" The boys shook their heads and returned to their previous conversation. Abe walked up to a long counter with various foods on the other side of it, much like the cafeteria line at Abe's old high school. He walked down the line and grabbed a few things, a plate of some sort of pasta and some garlic bread. Abe couldn't see anybody to pay for the food so he just returned to his seat. "Grub looks pretty good to me, this place passes in my book." Abe said to Jesse as he returned to the table.

Jargon walked inside and out of habit bent his head. He was use to things being shorter then his actual hight so he tended to always suck slightly. His large form made it's way down the hall, following his nose to the cafeteria. His eyes scanned the room, folding his arms across his chest. His fingers tapped on his arm, a frown coloring his face. His tail twitched behind him, accidentally tripping a kid who was walking into the room. He glanced back the back forward, before stepping into the line for food. He grabbed very few things, but what he did grab would disgust some. It was a practically raw slab of meat. He went and sat down a few chairs away from from a hulking behemoth. He was too terribly large compaired to him, but still larger.

Cater continued to listen to the woman as she spoke, finding her history interesting. He felt a little envious that she was able to learn computer skills, and even a bit more if she was telling the truth about learning them quickly. Moving away from his thoughts, he nodded slightly and continued to walk. "Yes, from what I heard, Mr. Redthorn is a psychic, and can locate anyone he chooses. He has similar powers to me, but many more as well." He paused for a moment, allowing more thoughts to process in his head. "I'm sorry you had to leave your mother and your family. I can assume that it wasn't easy for you." He said to her, remembering how he was unsure about leaving his home to go to the academy.

Lily thought on that, "a psychi. Wonderful" She said almost bitterly. Lily didn't have a great like of Psychic's, but she supposed she shouldn't judge Mr. Redthorn by that. She swallowed, and shrugged when he said about her family. "tt doesn't matter" She said softly, "Its been two years. I'm over it" She said, falling silent as they walked, looking ahead, "Do you suppose we will be welcomed or something?" She asked after a few moments, "or just be made to find our own way through the academy?"
