*Days of Future Past Spoilers* (If you haven't seen it, you need to. It was an awesome movie.
Named for their founder, and one of the most famous Mutants ever, they have manipulated events for thousands of years to get humans ready to live peaceably with Mutants. In the past the humans either idolized you, as prophets, gods, or demi-gods, or hated you, believing you were a demon. The Order, however, was founded on the idea that humans will learn to accept mutants as equals, leading to true coexistence for both groups. They have done their best to remain hidden from the world, from both mutants and non-mutants, and did their best to keep the existence of mutants from being common knowledge. After WWII they started to wonder if humans might be ready to learn of the existence of mutants, but they didn't have to wonder long, as in 1973 mutants were caught on camera at the treaty signing in Paris, and days later the same mutants were caught trying to murder President Nixon. When one of them saved his life, however, the first link in the chain of trust was struck. Humans began to see that mutants weren't evil, that they could be quite good.
The peace wasn't easy won, though. The Order must work constantly to maintain this peace, and when so many lives hang in the balance, there are few things that are considered "going too far."
When, occasionally, someone discovers the existence of the Order, they are given a choice. Join, or be given amnesia so that you are no longer a threat.

I want Mutants, but in an organization like this, normal humans would be useful as well. It occurs in the new timeline from the end of XM:DOFP, and as such, XMO:W, XMFC, and the history and alternate future from XM:DOFP are the only cannon parts from the films. We can make up the rest. Such as:
Mystique is now Senator Raven Darkholme from NY. After saving the president's life, she worked for the CIA as a covert operative until the end of the Cold War. She then went to law school and got a job with the ACLU specializing in mutant rights. When she ran for the Senate 7 years ago she got 61% of the vote, bipartisan support because she ran as an independent.

Are characters from the movies allowed?

Depends. Neither the X-men or the Brotherhood know about us, and many others are dead. But one individual mutant finding out about us could work. Say, Gambit, Blob, Silverfox, or another that was shown but not killed off.
As long as it makes sense for them to join us, though, I don't care. Someone like Emma Frost could be useful to a team like this.

Emotional appeals make it stronger.), memory blocking (when he doesn't like a memory they are currently accessing, he blocks them from accessing it again. This is why he's an Eraser (amnesia specialist) for the Order.
Personality: Manipulative. Likes to make people his way, even other mutants.
Why did you join?: I was a threat to them. A wild card. It was either join, which sounded like it might be fine, or die. There was no amnesia option for me. So I joined.
Preferred method of using powers: As music is designed to appeal to emotions, he carries around an I-phone to play music to people while influencing them. While the specific song changes based on what he's trying to get them to do, he prefers 70s and 80s Rock music, though some more modern songs are used.
History: A runaway teen, he doesn't like to talk about his parents or his life before, though sometimes (such as when he's drunk) things will slip out. He was using his powers to make others help him more than they normally would when the order found him. They gave him a choice, and he chose to go with them. He's been with them for eight years.

Position/duties: Military tactics, weapons knowledge and development, firearms training, melee training, and leadership capabilities
Race: Mutated Human (Was born human and was mutated by accident) - Caucasian
Powers?: Does not age. Rapid Regeneration. Does not need to breathe or eat. Can survive in high radiation. Can survive in a vacuum or high pressure situations. Highly durable body, but not impenetrable. Highly intelligent (180 IQ). Body is at peak human capabilities.
Personality: Off duty, Steven is a fun-loving man who doesn't show his intelligence in your average conversations. He can battle intelligently, but he's learned enough in the last few decades to not insult people by speaking above them. On duty, he is what he needs to be. If he needs to lead, he will. If he needs to follow and supervise, he will. If he needs to infiltrate and be someone else, he will. If he believes that he is not the right man for the job, he will speak up, but will accept whatever orders his leadership provides.
Why did you join?: Shortly after his 'little' incident, he was approached and recruited into the Order. Afterwards, he found out it was due to his life's longevity and his high intelligence.
Preferred method of using powers: Considering that none of his powers are overt, he just 'uses' them. In his own personal time, he likes to tinker with building new weapons.
History: Steven chance was born in August of 1927 in Tennessee. His mother died in childbirth, so he was borne to a military captain named Roger Chance. Because of this, the US Army was pretty much all that Steven learned about. Sure, he learned as much as his public education allowed. But he was being groomed for the Army, like his father. By the time he enlisted at the age of 17 (1944), he knew how to shoot, fight, and think on his feet. This helped him survive the last few years of WWII.
After the war officially ended, his unit was allowed to stay and help things end. Five years later, he was nearly done and ready to come back to the states. He was in Germany at a base, helping the Germans decommission some of their weapons. This was where he discovered a hidden entrance to an underground bunker. He ventured down and discovered a chemical weapons manufacturing plant. While he was standing there, dumbfounded at what he found, he was gunned down by a couple of Germans who didn't think he was supposed to be there. Their guns were filled with this untested chemical compound. After his unit finished avenging Steven's death, he was allowed a closed casket military burial back in Tennessee.
The reasons for his closed casket burial was because he wasn't in the casket. Earlier that day (approximately a week after the incident), he woke up. This, obviously, scared the crap out of him. As he tore himself out of the body bag he was in, he focused on the rather unmoving individual that was staring at him with expectation on his face. The man introduced himself as a member of a highly elite Order that ensured peace throughout the world. They were here to recruit Steven and place a cadaver in his coffin. The man spoke to him at length as Steven asked an array of questions about the organization and its origins. Eventually, he allowed himself to join the Order.
Over the last few decades, he was allowed to learn whatever he wanted to learn and tinker with advanced weaponry. He's learned many languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Latin) over the last 65 years. He also has learned how to create, tweak, and invent new weaponry that work in line with the Order's goals.
Currently as a daily routine, he exercises from 4a-5:30a and from 10p-11:30p. He doesn't need to eat or drink, but he does anyways to make himself appear normal, the same with his breathing. When not on a mission, he can be found on the compound in the weapons development and testing areas during the day, and during the evening he can be found barhopping. He still enjoys the ladies, not settling down due to his unnaturally long life. His preferred (non-mutant) method of travel is his motorcycle.

Bweoti: I like it. I'm going to have to ask him if he every met Captain Rogers AKA Captain America the first time I see the Avengers on TV and he's around.

CA was created on purpose.....LT was attempted murder on the German's part.....On top of that, CA thought it a good idea to take a REALLY long nap, whereas LT's been awake the whole time :P But, since the return of Mr. Rogers, they've not met. Rogers and Chance may have met each other during WWII, though. May be an interesting reunion :)

Yeah, actually tried to explain the similarities between the two of you by making up my own back story. I figured that:
1) the Germans (ex Hydra members) accidentally gave you knockoff Super Soldier Serum.
2) the radiation thing is because some of them were shooting you with nuclear waste to poison you. (or maybe the facility had a leaky nuclear reactor)

Of course, that's just what I made up. It's your character so you can decide your own back story. I just had to make one up so it would stop bugging me.

i'll ask now just so i can avoid my cs being regected. :3 would the power to literally make something no longer exist be a little extreme? basicly 'nothingness manipulation'? or should i maybe tone it down by having my characters power be something like: can willingly send anything she touches to a different dimension? or is that still too much?

im asking cuz i want to do a more out of the box power other than typical ones. please tell me what you think, and dont worry if you say no. i'll then have a few other options still.

Started working on an Iron Man character for this then I got sidetracked by my computer being a complete fuckwit. Still working on getting my computer back to where I want it. At this moment can't work on my Iron Man character because it is a word document and I haven't put office on my computer yet.

Black Hole Creation:

The user can create a small (ranging from marble to car size for example. she would still be learning to properly use her powers.) black hole at any time or place that will absorb anything including light, matter, vacuum, gravity, and energy to turn them into nothing. The victim will be torn to shreds after being stretched, then compacted to a point of compression after entering the black hole. Then they would simply erase to nothing as body molecules, matter, and energy would be absorbed.

Limitations:

Size - no larger than a car.
Duration - she can only hold it open for ten seconds.
Resting Period: Must wait at least 30 seconds afterwards or else her ability to stabilize it will be thrown off.
Amount: No more than two since she has two hands.

thats about it ^^ any other limitations im forgetting?

Well, teleporting others without moving yourself isn't OP (unless you godmode), but Erasing someone from existance, past, present, and future, would be. I guess as long as you simply make it go away with no evidence of it even existing anymore, that wouldn't be OP.

Try Open Office. It's a free open source program that's just as good as MS Office. That's what I use. Might have a few small bugs (like locking files in Read-only mode when it crashes), and take a bit of getting used to, but you can't beat the price.

That will work. No danger of it being considered OP either, as it is so limited.
