Generations have past since the Hero of Time rescued Princess Zelda and sealed Ganondorf within the Sacred Realm. The Hero of Time then departed from Hyrule and the seal of the Seven Sages began to weaken for some reason. This, of course, then allowed Ganondorf to break free and make good on his old and forgotten promise to one day get his revenge on the descendents of those responsible for his imprisonment-- and also, of course, conquer Hyrule. As darkness creeps across the land, the people pray for the Hero of Time to save them once again, but-- surprise, surprise... he doesn't appear.

And thus the citizens of Hyrule, unprepared and afraid, are forced to defend themselves against Ganondorf as he begins his siege. Without a hero, things appear bleak, but should a select few rise to the occasion-- perhaps Hyrule may be destined for a happier ending....

In the dark of the night, a woman's voice, heavenly and full of light, speaks to our unlikely heroes.... Could this be the voice of one of the goddesses answering the prayers of her people? It's unlikely very many people will believe you... and also possible that this voice is merely a figment of your imagination... but recent rumors of Ganondorf's return have got you thinking... and after nearly a month of being told to attend the Hero of Time Festival in Kakariko Village-- and with the date fast approaching-- you're beginning to think that maybe it's worth a shot, if maybe a shot in the dark. What's the worst that could happen?

Hello, hello! Welcome to my second original Zelda RP! I've been Co-GMing and roleplaying Zelda for about 5 years now and it's been about that long since I last started a light-hearted Zelda rolepay of my own. Recently I felt inspired to try something new and with this year's big E3 reveals from Aonuma, I figured-- why not now? Now seems good. Anyways, in case you're wondering, this roleplay will be taking place within the Adult Link Timeline-- long after Ocarina of Time and long before Wind Waker. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask them, but please keep in mind that I will not be doing any hand holding for this RP. I'll answer your questions, but don't expect me to correct your mistakes.

Felicia is roughly 5’9” has olive skin, long straight red hair, pointed ears, and downturned grey eyes. She typically wears her hair in a loose side braid with an old blue and white hat. Felicia’s typical garb consists of a dark royal blue ¾ sleeve shirt, brown overalls, light brown boots, a single red earring on her right ear, and a thick, colorful friendship bracelet on her right wrist. She also wears a necklace, but it's so long that the bottom disappears into her shirt and overalls.

Personality: Anxious, Reclusive, Doubting, Altruistic, Caring, Reliable

Backstory: Felicia was born in Castle Town, but moved to Lake Hylia at a very young age where she helped her uncle, who was getting on in years, manage his fishing supply rental business. It was there that she learned her trade and eventually came to take over the business when her uncle passed away. Most of the villagers are quite familiar with her.

She used to be known as a very happy, laid-back person, but a terrible tragedy befell her several years back and she’s never been quite the same ever since. She continues to run the fishing business, but lives alone and tends not to leave home very often except to sell fish or buy groceries.

Skills/Talents:

1. Fishing (SS)
She’s a fisherwoman. Owns the fishing supplies rental shop. Need I say more?

2. Cooking (SS)
She’s quite good at preparing meals. She can make something tasty out of just about anything.

3. Sneaking (SS)
Those fish can be mighty flightly. As a rather flighty person herself, she understands that.

4. Evading (FS)
Felicia has good reflexes. Her jumpiness has been known to startle people at times, however and, given her current occupation, she seems to have proven herself more adept to avoiding friendly pats on the back rather than swords or claws.

5. Long sword (FS)
Someone once taught her how to use it several years ago. She has since worked very hard to improve her skills with the blade.

6. First Aid (SS)
She can patch up the occasional bump or scrape and even splint a broken arm or leg. Not much good when injuries get serious, though.

7. Swimming (PS)
She’s a decent swimmer, but prefers to stay in the boat when she’s fishing and near shore when she’s relaxing.

Goal(s): Lately Felicia has been doing all she can just to keep her fishing business afloat. She doesn’t seem to have any other goals besides this.

Age: Unknown (Appears possibly in his thirties)

Race: Garo

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Beneath Roruuk robe stands a five foot, eight inch tall malnourished, bony frame of a body. His disheveled, neck-length hair is an inky black and his eyes are a water-clear blue even though one would have to get rather close to determine this from under his hood. Roruuk’s face is gaunt but begins at a rounded point of a chin. His skin is pale and he appears more like a corpse than anything. A single vertical line about three-fourths of an inch thick is tattooed down the center of his face in orange ink. Despite the fact that his body appears almost emaciated , a thin layer of toned muscle coats his bones.

Theme Song:

Personality: Lonely. Repentant. Grateful. Confused. Bittersweet. Ambivalent. (Do note that sad is not among these)

Backstory: Roruuk is cursed, or so his clan claimed. He comes from a land filled with combat and strife, a lifestyle that he found unappealing despite his best efforts to adapt. By no means was he unskilled in the arts of killing and cunning, he simply wished for something more than a life filled with combat that would only end with no trace of him ever existing.
Very curious in his youth, Roruuk had an encounter with a particularly nasty poe that cursed him. He found from that point on that any attempt to better himself or his life would backfire, sometimes in horribly heartbreaking ways. Having been outcast as a jinx of sorts, Roruuk now wanders here and there, tending plants and living off the land (nurturing other things is all he is capable of now). Even his rupees are cursed.

Skills/Talents:
1. Botany (PS)
Years spent with an inability to nurture oneself leads one to find some form of comfort in nurturing others. Plants just happened to be the easiest for Roruuk as they tended not to talk back or care what was wrong with him. Knowledge of plants also makes for easy foraging when living off the land.

2. Sneaking (SS)
A life among the Garo insists upon the ability to remain undetected. It also helps with avoiding everyone else, regardless of whether or not they’re hostile.

3.Dual Swordplay (FS)
Trained in the Garo art of war makes a pair of slim, curved swords Roruuk’s best bet as a line of offense and defense. His ability is solid, though his curse tends to cause him to end up on the unfavorable end of a fight. As such, he rarely if ever even draws his weapons.

4. Herblore (PS)
Not only has Roruuk found himself excelling in nurturing plant-life, he has also found an inherent ability to utilize various flora for medicinal. Although he never utilizes them, he also has knowledge of the various poisonous capabilities his plants have.

5-7. Agility (Evading, Running, Climbing)
Training in the art of quick, agile combat has made Roruuk very light on his feet, tending to rely more on this in a fight than anything else. It also makes traversing the environment a breeze. His weakened, undernourished body has made this more of a short-term “burst” ability however

Goal(s): Short term: Remove the curse that has afflicted him for the past several years. Long term: Live somewhere quiet, and eat every day without vomiting the majority of his food back up.

Race: Chilfos

Gender: Though Chilfos really have no gender, Frore has more masculine characteristics

Appearance:

Standing at seven feet, two inches tall, Frore is a rather average Chilfos. He somewhat resembles a skeleton, particularly his proportions -incredibly thin waist and jutting hips, for example-, in armor. He does have eyes, but they are indistinguishable from the rest of his helmet-like head. Though not shown in the picture, Frore has taken to wearing clothes to better blend in to human society. This consists of a long, hooded dark brown cloak with the mark of Nayru emblazoned in black throughout. When fighting, the cloak is removed.

Personality:
Unintelligent though sentient, reserved, generally apathetic, stubborn, brutish

Backstory:
Frore came to be, along with a dozen other Chilfos, at the hands of a sorcerer several years ago. This sorcerer, called Niveous, was driven by his own failures in life and the legends of the ancient evil to attempt conquest of his own. From the frozen north he approached Hyrule with a small army of ice monsters, including Keese, Pengator, White Wolfos, Keeleon, Freezor, and Eeno. However, the Hyrulean army proved more than a match for this would-be despot, and successfully defended their kingdom. When Gorons arrived from the East to help, the invaders were defeated soundly, and Niveous himself killed. What remained of his forces fled northward and spread across the frozen plains there, becoming an annoyance to all those seeking to travel there but never a threat.

A few years later one wandering Chilfos stumbled upon an icy grave in the snow. It awakened a Stalfos from beneath the ground, and the two fought briefly. With the winter's power on its side, the Chilfos defeated its skeletal foe, but as it prepared to plunge its spear into the Stalfos' skull, it surprised the Chilfos by speaking and pleading for its life. Nevertheless, the cold warrior destroyed the pitiable creature, and took from it the object that seemed to be giving the Stalfos the ability to speak and think—a pendant with a blue stone and the mark of Nayru. Upon touching it, the Chilfos suddenly gained sentience, and after coming to grips with this realization he permanently absorbed the magic of the pendant by inserting it into his heart and freezing it there. Soonafter the Chilfos ventured south to the kingdom of Hyrule, where it found itself feared and unwelcome by the people there. By chance, it met a dark, ethereal companion called Cain that helped acquaint it with civilized life in exchange for hiding in his shadow. Frore now works as a mercenary for hire, though in reality the being in his shadow does most of the thinking.

Skills/Talents:
1) ICICLE - Frore is a master of the natural Chilfos weapon, the ice spear, and is both adept at keeping an opponent at range while targeting weak spots and throwing the weapon accurately. (Fighting)
2) COLDHEARTED - He has a naturally cold aura, capable of chilling things around him. To a degree, he can generate ice from the moisture in the air, most often to create new spears to replace ones thrown or broken. This cold aura also sustains him in warm climates. Given time, he can also heal himself. (Magic/survival)
3) CHILD OF WINTER - Due to his race, Frore can survive incredibly cold environments with absolutely no negative effects; in fact, cold weather boosts Frore's stamina and strength. (Survival/fighting)
4) AURORA - His skin is extremely glossy, capable of taking nearly any amount of light -however tiny- and amplifying it through ice crystals, causing his entire body to give off a greenish-white glow. (practical/magical)
5) NEVER HUNGRY - Water and air are the only resources Frore needs to survive; in fact, he doesn't have a real mouth, so eating isn't even an option (Survival)
(Frore has no practical skills whatsoever, being unable to make really much of anything except ice and oblivious to all human trades)

Goal(s):
Frore has no real goal in mind, particularly in the long term; at his core, he's just a Chilfos (albeit sentient) and simply fights for whoever will pay him or for any cause the finds worthy.

Inventory:
1 Robe, 1 wallet, 1 water bottle, 1 Nayru pendant (in heart), 1 Transfiguration Ring (owned by the fairy Lethe), and practically infinite spears

Been working on a concept. I realized halfway through it felt like it was getting Sue-ish, so I thought I'd stop myself and run it by someone else. Here's the concept I'm trying to refine before turning it into a CS.

Orphaned/Abandoned Gerudo Child, who was born in Hyrule proper. Her mother was prevented from returning to Gerudo Fortress when the bridge was sabotaged. Being too pregnant to attempt a dangerous crossing without the bridge, the mother gave birth in Hyrule. Mother died before taking the girl to Gerudo Fortress, and thus the girl grew up in Kakariko. Upon being old enough to toddle, she lived up to her heritage and had the habit of stealing everything. At first, her attempts were cute, but as she got older she actually started getting good enough at it that, combined with the fact no like Gerudo, she got kicked out of the orphanage while still rather young. Living as a petty thief, she had the good/bad fortune of trying to steal from one of the remaining Sheikah. That wasn't going to work. However, the child made a good enough shot at it that the Sheikah, being more politically minded than most, thought about the potential of raising the Gerudo child to be an infiltrator against her kin. The Sheikah, being far more skilled than the child, was likely the only one properly capable of raising the child, and did a fairly good job of it, the child now having morals. She'll still steal everything just to see if she can, but she'll give it back afterwards. Now aging ten, the girl is a very competent thief and trickster support character. Buuut is 10, so cutting it in direct melee combat isn't going to work.

She doesn't seem all that sue-ish to me. She's got flaws, she isn't idealized and will likely never be idealized, she's not overpowered or excessively 'cool', seems fine to me.

And yes, I did quickly research what qualities define stus and sues.

Lugubrious: It's not required, but I would request that you try and title each of Frore's skills. Something like Spear, Ice magic, Reflectivity, Air/Water Diiet, etc. Something along those lines that is also coupled with the description. Just for the sake of consistency. Also, please number his skills.

I thought about my original idea and I couldn't seem to work with me and I really don't want to become too overpowered, so I fixed up a different character instead.
Name: Kaiver Greisen
Age: 34
Race: Human (Hylian)
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Kaiver is 6’2 with an athletic build, light skin with a slight tan. He often keeps his hair unkempt as he finds little purpose to cut it, and a short and thin beard he has been able to keep groomed with the help of his wife. Often, he is often wearing his light Ranger armor that consists of leather and cloth, with iron pads that protects his knees and elbows. His green Ranger cloak carries the seal of the Royal family and wears it often to show his position in the Royal Guard.

Theme Song:




Personality: Loyal, Brave, Headstrong, Stubborn, but loving father and husband.

Backstory: Having served 15 years as a Ranger for the Royal Guard, he comes off a very courageous and loyal soldier within his ranks, as he takes honor in serving his country against bandits, raiders, and the dangerous feral beasts that he goes up against. Having served Hyrule’s Royal Family well, he takes pride in his service and doesn't ask for much, provided he is able to make sure his family is well fed and taken care of in Castle Town. Although he took an oath to defend the Royal Family with his life, he is more concerned about the safety of the citizens and the people of Hyrule along with his family, believing that the Hero of Time will eventually come among one of the people and be able save them from Gannon’s wrath if the rumors turn out to be true and is willing to disobey orders to protect Hyrule’s people.

Recently due to a failed attempt to kill an alpha of a pack of Wolfos, he was put on temporary suspension and demoted to Town Watch as consequence after the beast itself killed two of his fellow Rangers. Even though they stopped the raid pack that terrorized travelers and the townsfolk, and able to thin out the pack before taking the beast itself on, The Crimson Hound (as it was called) was able to escape into the Lost Woods wounded even as it had taken supposedly multiple fatal blows to it. Although he vows to someday kill the beast and skin it for a trophy, with rumors of Gannon’s return, he knows that sooner or later the Crimson Hound would return stronger and become even a bigger threat as Hyrule’s people become more vulnerable.

Skills/Talents:
1) FS: CQC (close quarters combat). During his time in service, if he isn’t scouting with his fellow soldiers or on hunting trips, he is honing his hand-to-hand skills in combat in hope that he would be able to take down an attacker that would dare assault him or his family if the time comes.
2-3) FS/PS: Horseback Archery. As a Ranger, he is trained in the art of archery and horseback riding. He excels in his skills as his role as a Ranger and serves the Royal Family. He wishes to pass down his knowledge to the next generation with his family as he teaches them in what he knows hoping that someday they can defend themselves without him. His Bay horse is named Jade.
4) SS: Hunting. When not on duty, he prefers to spend time alone and hunt game in order to provide a few extra rupees selling the hide and meat of his catch. He could easily feed his family and provide enough food when the expenses are tight.
5) SS: Firestarter. He carries a fire striker, a piece of flint, and a few strips of charcloth in a canister. During tours of duty, it was used to create campfires to keep warm during the cold nights out in the Hyrule Fields.
6) Misc Skill: Ocarina player. It was given to him as a gift by Elder Lyontus as a tribute to his firstborn daughter. Although he knows a few songs himself, he uses it as a scouting whistle and a horse caller in case he is out on the Hyrule Field plains and far from his horse.

Goal(s): Have his family outlast Gannon’s wrath and provide his family and Elder Lyontus’ safety. He will do anything in order to make sure they are safe, even sacrifice his life.

Secondary Goal: Kill the Crimson Hound.

Inventory:

• Bow and Large Quiver (Can hold 35 arrows). This bow was given to him when he officially became a Ranger for Hyrule’s Royal Guard. He was allowed to keep it as honor and devotion during his service. His quiver was handcrafted and was purchased by the local tanner according to his specifications as most of the Rangers of the Royal Guard prefer to use custom made quivers rather than the Hyrule Army’s standard quivers.
• 30 regular arrows (in quiver)
• Lantern and Jar of Oil. Uses it during his patrols of Castle Town. No real use for it due to him being used to riding under the dark of night during his service.
• Spare Jar of Oil
• Ocarina.
• Hunting knife. An ordinate, yet functional blade is something that he keeps on his person at all times. It makes for a useful tool and the blade itself is made out of the finest steel.
• Fire striker, flint rock, and Charcloth canister.
Wallet: Can carry 300. Currently has 160

Appearance

Disregard the clothes in the picture. Luca wears simple but durable grey clothes of wool and linen. A medallion with the insignia of the Sheikah is always worn around the neck, but tucked away inside the tunic. Luca is shorter than the average Sheikah and is well muscled for an otherwise wiry build. A big tattoo of the eye of truth covers Lucas shouldersblades.

Backstory
Luca is one of the last remaining Sheikah, and knows it. Life thus far has consisted of training and preparation for when the darkness returns. Luca has recently run away from the duties of the Sheikah in search of another life.

Skills/Talents
1 (FS) Swordplay, Although far from a master, Luca is an adept fencer with years of training.
2 (FS) Evading, Dodging attacks ranging from projectiles to slashes and falling rubble.
3 (SS) Sneaking, Every trick from silent cat rolls to the usual vanish-by-deku nut.
4 (SS) First aid, Mainly used for taking care of Lucas own sores and wounds.
5 (SS) Hunting, Sheikah are trained to be self sufficient.
6 (SS) Cooking, same as above. Lucas food is edible but largely tasteless.
7 (PS) Sewing, for taking care of the few clothes Luca's got.

Goal(s)
Lucas first and foremost desire is to find a place in the world. Duty to Hyrule is also important, but secondary.

- A simple thin longsword with a leather sheath.

Alright, here's my character concept.
Name: Mila (Kokiri typically do not have last names, although each Kokiri name is unique amongst other Kokiri)

Fairy's Name: Shila

Age: 137 years old, appears to be a child of 12.

Race: Kokiri

Gender: Female

Appearance



Mila appears to be a 4'8" child of rusty red hair, weighing 80lbs soaking wet. Her physique is tiny and petite, and freckles dot her face and arms. She has vibrant green eyes and pointed ears, and normally ties her hair back into a ponytail with a green ribbon. Her skin is on the borderline between peach and tan from her time outdoors, allowing her to questionably pass as a Gerudo child at times.

Her attire is an offshoot of Kokiri style with Hylian influences. She typically chooses to wear a belted tunic, like most Kokiri, but will take after the more masculine trend of having sleeves and shorts apposed to a summer dress, although she will wear a skirt overtop her shorts. Her boots are styled as riding boots are, with a more solid part of the boot around her foot designed for hiking and a looser leather material fastening just below the knee for trekking through water and mud. Leather arm warmers similarly make their way from her wrists to past her elbow, although these are more for form rather than function. The only jewelry she happens to wear comes in the form of earring appearing to be made of snail shell. In cold or wet weather, she will don a cloak made of real leaves sewn to leather. The cloak includes a hood and a clasp at the front stylized after the Kokiri Emerald.

A Sprite Orb Fairy accompanies her. Typical of all fairies in shape, Shila is a round glowing orb with wings of a dull yellow color.

Backstory: Mila was born in Kokiri Forest, given life by the Great Deku Tree, although much like all Kokiri the details of her birth and first few years of her life are unknown to her. Even with the mystery surrounding her birth, she was aware that she was the youngest of three sisters. Efa, the oldest by three hundred years, is brash and confident and enjoyed sports and other physical activities. Sola, the middle child and older than Mila by almost two hundred years, is a self-absorbed beauty queen, and loves sewing, cooking, and playing "house". Mila, the youngest of the three, is a curious and gifted little girl that loves to learn, and fills her time exploring or challenging her mind. Mila was a given a fairy on her 27th birthday by the Great Deku Tree, a golden orb of light named Shila. During the majority of her earlier years, Mila would do as all Kokiri children did and played games, explore the forest, and have fun as all children are want to do. But quickly her curious nature had taken the better of her. Mila was quickly seen as strange and foreign, for she would explore the Lost Woods often for potion ingredients, her favorite hobby. Only the boys tended to go deep into the woods to prove how brave they were, but Mila was unafraid and did so out of wonder more than for pride. In her fifties, Mila left the Kokiri Forest for the first time, wandering out into Hyrule Field. She was promptly attacked by a Peahat, and was so rattled by the experience that she did not attempt to leave again for another ten years.

In her sixties, Mila discovered a hidden passage through the Lost Woods that would take her to Goron City. She enjoyed herself greatly, immersing herself in the culture of the Gorons and visited every day for over a month entertaining them with her songs. It was when it was discovered that she had been leaving that Mila was ostracized by the rest of the Kokiri, who would verbally attack her for what they had seen as wrong or avoid her like a leper. Only her eldest sister would come to her defense. It was at this time that Mila decided to leave Kokiri Forest for good, to prove to the other children that there was an entire world out there worth experiencing. She would come back with legends and songs and books in her name, and then they would have no choice but to accept her for the free spirit that she was. Over the course of the next sixty or so years, Mila traveled all over Hyrule doing just that. She has seen the vast majority of the world many times over, learned different languages, experienced different cultures, been on many adventures, and made many new friends, selling potions and curios as she went. Mila had made a name for herself everywhere she went, good or bad. "The Little Merchant" of the Gerudo wastes to "The Witch of the Forest" in Hyrule Castle Town. "Kokiri Sister" of Goron City or "Mila, That Nice Little Potion-Selling Girl" in Ordon, Mila has been everywhere and learned a lot. She tries to visit Kokiri Forest every four years or so, but is consistently shunned as if she had left the day before, with only her sisters willing to speak to her and offer her a hot bowl of mushroom stew after her travels. One day, Mila desires to return to Kokiri Forest as a Kokiri hero of legend, one that the children tell stories of like they do of Link at night by firelight.

Skills/Talents

1. Alchemy (PS): Mila's craft and profession is brewing potions, tinctures, salves, medicines, you name it. She's had many years to hone her skills and could be considered one of the most talented in the trade. Can also make a mean stew.
2. Forest Magic (MS): As a Kokiri, Mila is tied to nature from the core of her very being, as such showing natural talent for magic such as many Kokiri do. She's spent ample time studying old books and tomes and practicing spells to be able to perform simple natural spells such as growing or whithering plants, or even some complicated ones such as improving the disposition of plant-like creatures toward her or creating snaring vines. However, the farther away from the forest she is, the weaker her power over this realm of magic. She is strongest within the Kokiri Forest or Lost Woods, and weakest within the Gerudo Desert.
.3. Magical Musician (MS/PS): Mila is fond of playing the pan flute, and over time she has learned songs with magical properties from her travels, discovering more practical ways to use her musical skills. She knows the following magical songs, and is capable of learning more:
-Saria's Song: This tune is learned by all Kokiri with or without magical or musical talent. It is used to prove their identity with the Kokiri and speak to other Kokiri across any distance through their fairies.
-Minuet of Forest: Learned from an engraving in the Lost Woods, the Minuet of Forest is capable of magically transporting the reciter to the Forest Temple. However, it takes at least three minutes of uninterrupted play that must be performed flawlessly, and cannot transport anyone except for the player of the anthem.
-Song of Storms: Taught to her by Flat, one of the Composer Brothers, before his death in exchange for blue potion. The Song of Storms calls forth a mighty torrent of rain wherever it is played.
-Bremen's March: Mila learned this after spending an evening at an animal circus. Domestic animals will instinctively wish to follow her like the Pied Piper as long as the song is being played.
4. Wit & Guile (FS/SS/PS): Mila is sharp as a tack, and as compensation for her small size usually tackles problems with knowledge and intelligence instead. She applies this to all aspects of any issue or situation she may face, such as using tools and gadgets to aid her in combat, solving puzzles in a dungeon, sneaking past guards with a disguise or distraction, or simply trying to make a hard sell of her potions.
5. Marksmanship (FS): While nothing special, Mila is competent with her slingshot and can throw a boomerang or Deku Nut to hit a mark more often than not if it's in her throwing range. However, she is unfamiliar with bows, and would prefer not to use them anyway.
6. Evasion (FS): Being as small as she is, Mila stands no chance in a fight against much larger and more dangerous foes, and so relies on avoiding combat. The majority of Kokiri learn tumbling of some sort, and she happens to be no exception. While markedly better than most Hylians, Mila is below average for a Kokiri when it comes to evasive backflips and rolls.
7. Wilderness Survival (SS): As the forest is their home, the Kokiri all naturally learn how to survive within it. Mila is capable of finding food, shelter, and water in forest environments with little problem, as well as escaping danger. She also holds navigational skills of which the basics transfer over to other environments, although she'll have a tougher time surviving in them.

Goal(s): Mila hopes to one day be welcomed back into Kokiri Forest with open arms. In the meantime, she occupies herself by traveling and adventuring, hoping to do as much good along the way.

-Pan Flute (not inherently magical, but capable of performing magical songs when the user's magic is applied. Made of sturdy Deku wood)
-Kokiri Cloak (little resistance to cold, but shrugs off wet weather. The leaves on the cloak will magically change their color to more closely match other surrounding leaves in forest environments. Outside of forest environments, color varies depending on how arid the air is. Can go from dark forest green to an unhealthy brown or fall orange and yellow)

I'm making Mila a little well-known, seeing as she's an ageless child that's traveled far and wide and back again selling potions of higher quality, and I assume she'd know a lot of people. If anyone wants, their character could have had prior dealings with or at least recognize Mila as the travelling potions salesgirl.
