William wiped sweat off his brow, he looked at the freshly painted house as Allie sat on a bench near their house. William smiled at the little girl, he knew she would be much more than that one day. William called the black haired girl, "Come inside." she ran up to the front of the house and they both walked in, the heat beating down on the ground in the small, quiet town of Acantha. Soon, that would change. They would go into a fight, with two wicked beings..

Farica sat down against a tree, a few kilometres away from her homeland. It had been sixteen years since she left Acantha. Sixteen years. However, she will soon be visiting Acantha in order to destroy it without a doubt and without hesitation. The blonde haired-woman wasn't alone through her life, she did have her ups and downs, but luckily she kept her sanity.

Black smoke floated next to her as it begun to form scarlet eyes and a mouth. It didn't speak but it comforted Farica. Sighing heavily, she thought about the supernaturals she was going to be against. Strange creatures. Monsters. It didn't please her at all. Taking a bite from an apple she caught from a tree, the blonde looked up at the leaf covered sky. "It's going to be a long way..."

Dorian was sitting on the stairway of the small cottage he'd taken up residence in, absent-mindedly crunching a bright red apple. He wasn't really paying much attention to what was going on around him, daydreaming about Acantha and the possibility that his family might at last have a safe place to live. It was a shame that his daughter might have to grow up apart from her native race, but he was glad at least that there where other children around.

Meeka stared upon the little town with a blank face on a cliff side many miles west. From here he had a perfect view of everything. Meeka remembered his parents in flashes, their faces grew more distorted with each passing year of his life. Meeka could blandly remember his mother's face, blonde hair and a smile that reassured Meeka that always great and perfect. His father, was an optimistic man always seeing the bright side, nothing brought him down. Except of course the fight, which brought him down permanently. Meeka ran a hand through his head and sighed softly. There is about a 40 foot drop below him and with it a waterfall and a river that wrapped around the town of Acantha. There would be about a 20 mile trek back to the town if he climbed back down the cliff, but a quick shortcut down the waterfall would cut that distance down to 10. Trying to forget everything that happened to him and his family Meeka jumped, half hoping the fall would kill him.

The blonde stood up, tossing the apple behind her as another ghost-like creature came up from behind and then gobbling the remains of the apple up. She sighed once more and in addition, begun to embark forward towards her destination. The new citizens wont probably remember Farica due to her leaving years ago, people who do still probably remember her wont probably even recognize her thanks to puberty. Either way, there will still be that one person... her plan was to analyse and observe the weaknesses of the town and even 'make friends'. However, it'll only be toleration.

William walked back outside, thinking he left something and looked at the beautiful town. He listened to the water running right near his doorstep, he moved towards the edge of the water and sat down, forgetting why he came outside he sat there, loving life.

After a long walk, she fell down to her knees out of exhaustion. "Ugh.." she moaned as her creature that she summoned begun to nuzzle her neck. "I'm alright.. look." Farica pointed to the distance. She was just almost to the town, seeing that the entrance which was a tree was standing high and mighty even from a really long distance.

Meeka walked quietly, and still wet from the waterfall jump, listening to the leaves rustle under his foot. The forest dance with life, everywhere he turned Meeka saw animals. Rabbits scattered at his act the sight of him, a lone doe grazed on grass nearby and quickly pranced away. It took about an hour to reach Acantha, and in that time Meeka came up with a game plan. First things first, he needed someone who knew a lot about the town. He needs to befriend someone, anyone, who knows about the leaders of Acantha.

Maia hummed as she strolled the streets.
She could already tell that this will be an interesting semester.
A little boy tripped in front of her, grabbing his knee while crying.
Hurrying over to his side, Maia pulled a roll of linen from her bag.
She resisted the urges to consume the child and instead wiped the blood from the wound.
Wrapping the bandage around the boy's knee, she stood up and gave him a rare smile. "You were very brave."
She dug around her sack once more; this time it was a golden leaf. Placing it into his hand, she said calmly. "It's good luck."
Standing up, Maia readjusted her bag, giving a final wave at the child, before heading toward the towering building.

William saw Maia across the street, he didn't recognize her at the time but time would tell..
He smiled as she helped the boy up, the girl started to walk away. He brushed his hand over the water and a school of fish rushed by, the water was calming..

May walked through the gates of Acantha, her light purple hair was also up in the typical ponytail she wore and she was clad in her typical protective armor that she wore under a simple brown cloak when she went out scouting, and just making sure no danger was near the town. The only problem she had was a small group of human bandits who saw the girl as an easy target. May truly had two sides to her, the healer and the fighter but both were caused by how much she cared for those in the town. The bandits had made a mistake, they tried to sneak attack her, but she could smell them. They only got in one hit before they were all knocked out and tied up on the edge of a human town. May had wrapped up where a throwing dagger had stuck itself in her forearm. It didn't get very deep and it wasn't something she couldn't handle. Unfortunately, her healing didn't work on herself, she could only heal others but she didn't care. Her life was the least important in her mind, although she wouldn't willing give up without a fight.
May walked through the streets and children came and greeted her. She smiled brightly at them and spoke with them for a bit before continuing on her way. She stopped by the center of the town and spoke to her superiors about what she saw outside of Acantha. May then headed towards her small house/medical house. As she walked she saw William and decided to stop to say hello. "Good afternoon William. How are you? And of course, how is Allie?" She asked with a calm smile on her face.

The Light-Auburn haired boy looked at May, "I'm fine, thank you. Allie has been doing fine, er, for a little girl with telekinesis and a whole bunch of other crap. Hah. Still trying to get that in check." Allie walked out and saw May, she smiled "Hi May!" Allie rushed down the front steps, and gave May a big hug.

"Hi Allie, looking as beautiful as always." May said crouching down and hugging her back, smiling at the young girl. "If you ever need help, just ask. I may not have the same abilities as her but I did teach myself about mine. I'm sure I can help in someway." May said looking at him over the little girls head.

Will smiled at the Silver-Haired girl "Thanks May." Allie pulled away from the hug and sat down next to William. "I think I got it though, my parents taught me about my powers for a while and I have all the same powers as her. I think I got it, appreciate it though." William said.

Farica walked towards the entrance of the town which was a giant tree. She knew that there was a protective layer in the tree so she had to literally, 'storm the gates'. Smirking widely, the blonde had never forgotten the atmosphere of the place. "It's time to welcome me back." she said quietly as she made her way through into the town. It was different however, Farica rarely even recognizes the citizens that were roaming the area. Like... what? It was indeed a different sight.

Putting on her innocent and shy demeanour, she asked the nearest person for assistance. Herself. She didn't even need to ask someone, the blonde could just explore the town and maybe if someone asks who she is, she could just reply that she is 'new'. However, Farica is only adventuring for her scheme to work. Walking down the stone path, she came near to a small bakery. "Hello~!" greeting an old lady, she smiled sweetly. "I'm new!" what a great way to explain herself.

"Oh hello, sweetie!" the lady greets polite. "Unfortunately, I really need the money so I can't give you anything free that I have made... but, to make up to that I can surely tell you about the news of the town!" she offers and that's exactly what Farica needed. The news of the town... the blonde obviously hasn't been up to date on it since you know... she was kicked out sixteen years ago. But this is now the new generation, to find the weaknesses of Acantha! However, she could just go to a newspaper shop and read very quickly... but, let's just go with it.

"Yes please!" Farica accepted the offer, leaning on her elbows that were placed on the counter; her ears ready to hear the news that was going to be told by the old woman. The woman held up a newspaper that just said on the headline, 'The Mun Just Doesn't Care.'. That wasn't any use, to be honest. Just some lonely head not caring at all was no problem. "Um... thank you, I'll be taking my leave now..." and with that, the blonde turned on her heels and strutted away from the bakery, deeper into the town. She didn't exactly remembered where her old house was located, but someone probably just moved in it.

And there, is despair inside where there is hope. —- yet hope is also in despair too.

"That's good." May said with a smile. "It's easier to learn from someone I'm sure." May said sincerely. "Also I've been asked to ask you if you would want to join the Acantha Protectors. The commander seems to see potential in you, and trust me he is never wrong." May said laughing slightly. "We would be happy to have a new protector seeing as things outside have been getting more violent."May said with a sigh.
(I can change it if you want, I just came up with that group randomly )

(Makes sense, was planning on making a protagonist group anyway, we'll all join that eventually.)

William looked at Allie "I would but I just.. I have Allie, and she needs to train. I'm not joining unless Allie can train with me there, there's more potential in her powerful child mind than me."

Meeka stood at the gates of Acantha. He shut his eyes slowly remembering his uncle's last words before Meeka set out to this town. "Remember what those brutes are and what they've done to this family. Don't let them drag you down with them. You are human at heart." Meeka reopened his eyes and entered the town. Right away he knew things were different from when he last visited. It's in much better condition. Supernaturals fluttered about Acantha, going about their lives. In a way Meeka felt that he belonged here, whether he likes it or not he is a supernatural. He quickly brushed the thought aside remembering his parents falling before him.

Meeka walked around the town, getting odd looks here and there. He guessed everyone knew everyone since it was a small, tight-knit town. Even in such a small place Meeka wasn't sure where to begin. Among a group of walking pedestrians Meeka caught sight of a group of people, a small, black-haired child, a blonde(?) girl and a guy. The house gave a scent of wet paint. Pushing past the crowd and softly saying 'excuse me' to everyone he accidentally bumped into, Meeka approached the group. " Hi, name's Meeka, I've kind-of been deported from the 'human world'. I heard this place takes in Supernaturals. Hoping you guys can point me in the right direction."

William stared up at Meeka, and Allie hid behind him, reading his aura, full of regret and sadness, he had gone through a lot...
William pointed to a large building "Talk to the people in that building there, they help new people settle down."

May was about to say something she then heard someone come up behind her. "Yup, just right down the street in the big building. Welcome to Acantha. Hopefully you can find a new home here with all of us." May said kindly. She tucked a strand of her light purple hair back after she finished. She stood in between Allie and William and the new man, not purposely, it just happened that way.
