There's a difference between having Godlike abilities, and deciding that all player character that ever come into contact with your own will have their memories changed. That doesn't just include direct contact, by the way. That would be everyone who has ever heard of Sentry, and, considering it was he who led to the formation of the Avengers as of now, that would be pretty much everyone in the world you'd be mindfucking.
It is a big deal, and if you can't recognize that...
