Name: Rampage
Gender: Male
Pokemon Species: Tyrunt
Pokemon Type: Rock/Dragon
Former Guild / Occupation: Had never been in a guild and had no part in the war and his kind are rare to find in living form. So they stay out of the way in order to preserve their numbers, even if many fossils exist. He just recently had permission to leave the heard and now he is on his way to join the guild.
Other: He is a shiny Pokemon and has a purple bandana which has a few rips in them caused by some of the heard members. Basically it is a way of saying good luck and stay safe out there.

((I will take the shiny part away if no. Also I thought I would have something with an outside view. I guess I don’t really remember the story too much but I do remember the Explores of Time one.))

Question: How exactly are we handling moves here? Are we going by what they can naturally learn or are we allowed some creative freedom here?

I think it is more handy to do the moves they have as the pokemon they are, because suddenly shooting thunder when being a fighter pokemon isnt quite right I think hahaha xD

I would of thought it would of been done by what they know or inherit.

Well, I mean, I'm playing a Psychic pokemon here. Should I stick to in-game moves Ralts could learn, or be able to have some creative freedom since psychic things could do...well, a lot? knowing only four moves in an RP setting kind of...well, seems a bit restrictive xD

That move I used in the RP was supposed to be psychic, by the way.

I sort of RP fight in a real time scenario....like

Scythe pierced his blade into the Machop etc etc

Although I may occasionally use moves that are in Scyther's moveset via Bulbapedia.

And when I said 'pacify' I didn't mean argue with her. If anything, he's going to admonish Ghost, haha.

If I were to do something like this I would probably have them have moves they learn and inherit but not be limited to four moves. But then again I am not the GM and so we have to see what they say. In the end I can't see why a Pokemon can't use tackle, it is basically you throwing yourself at them, the same goes for double slap because it is an action.

Makes sense. I would say actions like biting, punching, headbutts and the such shouldn't have moves but stuff like flame thrower, metal claw, and thunder punch would make you tired.

Yes, move sets are not required in this RP, as it will restrict us in more ways than one. Perhaps, like Path said, it would be best to know that you can tackle, bite, and scratch another Pokemon, but moves that are similar to Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, etc. are some things that you must practice if you want to be any good at them. Also, you can have as many attacks as you want, just don't go overboard here at the beginning. XD don't want to destroy the isle before we even get off if it.
