The sun is rising in the sky, the Fletchling are playing happily, and children and adults alike are getting ready to embark on their journeys. This particular story follows four unique individuals, unknown to each-other but bought together by chance. Side by side they will fight, grow, love and laugh. And when the dastardly Team Shadow rear their head, will they be ready to fight the darkness, or join it?

It is a windy day in Aquacorde Town, and in the town center is a boy, eighteen years of age, talking with a Pawniard. They are only the first page to this story.

Now, as for posting size, a paragraph minimum should suffice. Not overly phased as long as you have fun and it is constructive. Feel free to write more though :)

I want this RP to be as much about the relationship with the pokemon as it is with each other. So don't be afraid to talk to it, give it a personality, give it development, etc.

As we progress, we can only catch pokemon in that region that we can in the game. However, we can always trade with others for more exotic pokemon. But be realistic. An Ace Trainer from Hoenn is not going to trade a Blaziken for a Scatterbug.

As for battles, you can do them yourself (As in you control the opponent as well) or I can step into the opponents shoes and we can make it a play-by-post in the arena section or something. Don't be afraid to lose as well. You have a friend support group travelling with you and it can allow for great story and development.

Starting pokemon:
Pawniard called Shogun

How you got your pokemon:
To try and give him some focus in life, his parents gave him an egg one day. What hatched was what would become a life partner, a Pawniard he called Shogun. By training him, he learnt that two conflicting sides can co-exist. However, Shogun is just as impetuous and Ivan, and often tries to do things it thinks it can do, but can't actually do just yet. It likes to show off and has a bit of an ego to boot.

Personality:
Analytical and impulsive, Ivan is a walking contradiction. Just like the steel pokemon his parents raised, he was smart, calculating, and perceptive. However, like the dark pokemon he soon fell in love with, he is also rash and prone to moments of action without thinking. On rare occasions, these two overlap and he becomes a real powerhouse on the field, but they are few and far between. Socially he is friendly to the point on naivety, and often doesn't understand subtly or humour. Often needs things explained to him or he will take it literally.

Dream: To find his sister and to become the ultimate steel and dark trainer.

How you got your pokemon: he saved it from a Ariados web.
Personality: Larry is a very upbeat person and enjoys the company of friends and Pokemon. He is impulsive and loves fire types and water types. He loves doing stuff his own way but will be willing to do it another way if he agrees with it.
Dream: to beat the gyms, elite four and to become the best trainer there ever was.

How you got your pokemon: Mai met Chimchar as a wild pokemon just after the moved to the Kalos reason. He was injured and after she nursed him back to health, she decided she would keep him as her first partner.
Personality: Mai is outgoing and charming. She loves to take risks and tends to be a bit reckless sometimes. A very loyal friend, she can be counted on to pull through with anything. Dosent give up easily and is really hard to upset. She usually starts a conversation with a happy, "Hey! Whats doing? I'm Mai. Lets hang."
Dream: To become a Gym Leader or member of the Elite Four with her awesome team of Fighting type pokemon!
