Ra is a rather broad woman, in terms of personality, as she has many facets to her name, some of which contradict one another and some of which harmonise with one another. Ra's main feature is her vast intellect. Even from the age of 11, Ra has succeeded academically on such a level that she is yet to meet somebody able to match her sheer intelligence. Naturally, from this vast intellect came hubris, and from that hubris came a desire to dominate. Now, this is by far the most prevalent force in her life. Ra loves to dominate others, be it mentally or physically, and enjoys nothing more than watching a man [or woman]'s mind break under hers. This has sadistic facets too, and Ra delights in the mental torture of her foes - she loves to watch the last moments as a person's hope and willpower give out and they surrender entirely to her - a feeling nothing else can replicate. The ease of which she has found herself able to dominate the minds of her foes has, however, left her disinterested after watching her opponents break. She considers them a hassle after this point, unless they are exceptionally powerful or useful to her, and is often seen leading them blindly to their deaths.
However, Ra is not lacking in compassion or love - which surprises most - and she is quite able to feel love for one she deemed worthy. None, however, have been deemed as such. All have been judged, all have been weighed; all have been found wanting. Ra respects those whose power or intelligence is nearly equal to her own, and this respect has the potential to bloom into compassion, but this has happened only a few times. The people she gains compassion for, however, remain close to her for eternity. She is yet to find what she would define as love, but she is hopeful in the regard of finding somebody she is able to share her future with - as she knows it will be most glorious. This side is rarely seen, but it does exist beneath the malice that Ra holds close to her core. Ra’s personality does have its crippling flaws, however: While she is self assured and knows of her greatness, she has always felt isolated from the world, unable to find one worthy of her raw magnificence. Because of this, she holds a terrible longing close to her heart - and sometimes her desire to interact truthfully and honestly with people can get the better of her, throwing her normally excellent judgement.
As a manipulator, Ra is extremely competent at playing her outwards personality towards those she meets as an attempt to entice them. She is able to, with an almost perfect success rate, draw them into her web of deceit. For these qualities, Ra has been nicknamed the "Architect of Thought", able to effectively construct her opponent's thoughts for them, then lead them down a gentle path of destruction that seems to be entirely of their own volition. Ra is able to offer disguised choices to those she speaks with, manipulating them into picking one option with such effectiveness that they believe they have a choice when the reality is that they do not - they were always going to pick the option that Ra desired, but they believe that they have a choice, and this makes it much easier for them to accept the "choice" as one of their own volition.

Ra has no natural affinity for a chakra nature due to being completely unable to use Ninjutsu of any variety. She has the strongest affinity for Yin chakra that the world has ever seen, however.
【Abilities and Special Traits】
- Ra is among the most proficient genjutsu users alive, easily able to put her foes under genjutsu to control and manipulate their mind. She is able to use these genjutsu in combat to err her foes’ judgement proficiently.
Ra has savant-level intelligence, and her IQ is easily 180+. She is one of the most powerful minds of her generation, able to process complex tactics easily as well as discern the strengths and limits of techniques she sees due to her vast knowledge of techniques as a whole. Ra is perceptive to the extreme,
Ra is possibly the most skilled manipulator in the world, able to use her natural charm and wit, as well as her body to coerce almost anybody into trusting her, where she is then able to bend them to her desire.
Ra is, after her extended training with the Jikankizami, quite proficient at Taijutsu. She is easily able to stand toe-to-toe with experts and could fend off masters, though she would have extreme difficulty in combatting raw strength and superior technique. She has learned the Wing-Chun style, and with her incredible mind mastered it within the 6 years she has been practicing. The training given to all Hyakune clan members has also refined Ra’s taijutsu skills and her general fitness.
【History】
The Hyakune clan have, for ages, been the stewards not of a single style, but of many. In fact, their name, Hyakune [百根; One Hundred Roots], was made in homage of the core principle of the clan - Each member would be unique, each would take one of the many roots available to it and grow outwards, away from any of its brethren, but still connected at their very core. Before the clan were even introduced to the concept of Ninjutsu, or chakra at all, they trained themselves in as many arts as they knew how, each member of the clan becoming an authority on their chosen style. This left the clan in an odd state of simultaneous weakness and strength; while the clan members were too focused as individuals to cover their glaring weaknesses, when the clan moved as a cohesive group they were nigh unstoppable simply because they, together, knew so much more than any other clan when it came to the scope of technique. Such was the way of the clan, as its founder Sōgyō-sha had dictated.
Sōgyō-sha had believed - firmly - that weakness should be purged from his sons and daughters at as young an age as was possible, and in his wisdom (and cruelty) he developed a system for which the clan would be raised by, and a system for which the clan would be governed. By nurturing the child's journey from childhood to adulthood with the intention of purging them of weakness, and then foisting them directly into a position of power beyond the scope of their experience, he brought much heartbreak and suffering into the world, and not all of his children survived the rigorous training... But those who did emerged as stronger beings than their lesser brethren, leading the Hyakune clan to heights that others could only dare to reach out to. Children were raised as if in a collectivist society, in which they would all grow up together with no separate households, but largely without the traditional maternal and paternal influence that was expected of such a society. Instead, the mothers and the fathers of the children would train them in the various arts that they had found themselves attracted to, and children would practice everything they could until they found something they had an affinity for - or better - made a new style of their own. To make a new style of one's own was considered to be a sign of future greatness, and such children were lifted from the terrible conditions in which they lived before into greatness, to nurture their talents and to ensure that the Hyakune would always expand, and always grow.
The children, once they reached the age of eight, would quickly become devoid of typical maternal and paternal influences, and were also deprived of guaranteed resources. There was plenty of food in the clan compound's pantries, but the children were forbidden to simply walk in and take what they wanted. The children had to steal, without being caught, and would eat only what they could earn - those who learned to adapt to their harsh conditions were empowered, but some children died from starvation. Pity was not something bred into the members of the clan, after all. The children of the Hyakune believed in one core mantra throughout their childhood, one truth that empowered them: "The crime is not in taking whatever actions you must, but in being caught doing so.". After training for 14 hours a day, every day, for 6 years, the children that had not found their unique talents in the clan were resigned simply to follow what was established and had appealed to them most. They were not disrespected, per se, but they were rank and file. They were unimportant.
Those who forged a new path, who contributed to the growth of the clan, were thrust into positions of power that they had no experience in - they were made an elder of the clan. The clan's "legal" system, as it were, involved a circle of elders who had marked themselves as great individuals that made requests and then voted on their implementation, not unlike the jury at a court. The eldest male and eldest female were collectively the judge of the clan, and had ultimate power should such a need arise. Life on the Council of Elders was a tough one, as every action and non-action had consequences that the rest of the clan would have to face. The once-children who had been born for greatness had power beyond their stations forced onto them, and they either learned quickly or were killed by people who loathed their inability to take action (or their tendency to take the incorrect action.)
Children who survived all of this, who survived every trial put before them, would emerge as the pinnacle of the human world, they would emerge capable leaders with immense, and unique, fighting skills that would put them far above mere mortals, and they could do anything in the world that they so chose... Until the dawn of the Rikudo Sennin. The advent of Ninjutsu, and of Kekkei Genkai, changed the Hyakune clan immensely, for the secrets of their blood were unlocked, and its members found even more avenues to specialise into. With other ninjas rising, and clans coming to fruition, the Hyakune clan were forced to train even more than usual in order to keep up with the flood of Ninjutsu that echoed throughout the world. They belonged to no major village, but their services were offered freely to all as mercenaries, and it is said that each Kage of each village has called upon at least one member of the Hyakune clan in their time of need once. Whether or not such is true is a point of contention, but one thing was certain: The Hyakune clan were walking on thin ice, and in order to persevere, they would have to become the best at an art in which they had no particular advantage.
That was, until, the Hyakune clan realised the extent of their bloodline. Unlike most clans, the Hyakune's bloodline was not singular, it was not one static ability that each of its members possessed. Even their blood, it seemed, followed the clan's founder's vision. Their bloodline, the Tōsei no Eien [Eternal Control], manifested itself as an exceptional level of control over the user's chakra, which often manifested in the form of an aura around the user, an extension of their chakra systems outside of their body. Each member expressed it differently, due to their own personal DNA affecting the bloodline (as the Tōsei no Eien was not on a single chromosome - how the other chromosomes were formed had differing effects on the actual expression of the bloodline, but due to the relative positions of the genes (which remained constant) the bloodline kept its basis). Unfortunately, this meant that each member had to learn their bloodline alone, with no aid from members who expressed a similar bloodline, and the Hyakune's attention was divided as its members struggled to subjugate their new power, as well as practice in the arts of Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. The clan was already markedly proficient at Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, but in a world where Ninjutsu existed, such was not enough to succeed.
Time passed, and as the Rikudo Sennin died and his legacy was divided, the Hyakune took their training further, as a new generation had had time to be born with Jutsu and their Kekkei Genkai. This new generation was quick to subjugate the power that flowed through them, and the Hyakune clan was raised once more to among the top clans of the ninja world. They tentatively allied themselves with Konohagakure, building a new compound their for their older members, and became productive members of the village, providing it with protection in its times of need, and able workers who were much more efficient than the peons that they would have used otherwise. Their assistance came at a steep cost: The Hyakune would be above the law of the village, preferring to keep to their own council of elders, and these terms were agreed to. The newer members of the Hyakune clan remained at their old compound, around 15 miles from Konohagakure, training as they always had for the dawn of a war that nobody could see coming.
How Ra made her way through the world is a variable story, depending upon who you ask. Some would say that she made her way through life through the subtle and extensive manipulation of her superiors and those beneath her, others would say that she grew up in Konohagakure and has simply always been a Sensei there to guide the young, and others still would make many more wild claims about who she is and what she does.
How much of any of their claims is true is obviously something that cannot simply be stated. Ra has made her way through life shrouded in mystery, choosing only to reveal what she absolutely must in order to achieve her myriad goals. Ra’s mysterious allegiance with the Empire - or even what she did beforehand - are secrets that are entrusted only to those that they need to be - but even then they are not true secrets, for true secrets have value, and where Ra has been and what she has come from do not matter. All that matters are her current plans.
【Weapons, Tools and Equipment】

Description: Kuroi Kamen is a black veil [as the name suggests] that is comprised of two bolts of cloth. Each of these bolts are sealed to allow no passage of chakra into them, but to allow chakra out, and are surprisingly difficult to cut through [they resist most swords easily]. In addition to this aspect of the veil, it is also a mask that covers Ra’s ears, mouth, nose and eyes. This mask is covered in seals that filter out any harmful substances that would enter Ra’s body, in addition to dampening any particularly loud sounds or sounds designed to have an adverse effect on the body.
Ra carries with her, at all times:
- 25 Kunai, each marked with a Kyōsei Keiyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu seal
- 100 senbon, standard size, in a canister attached to a belt on her waist. Left side.

【Kekkei Genkai】
Tōsei no Eien; Tenchi Gensō
Name of the Kekkei Genkai: Tōsei no Eien; Tenchi Gensō [Eternal Control; Heaven and Earth Illusion]

Description: The Tōsei no Eien is a potent Kekkei Genkai that manifests differently in each of its bearers. Throughout the entire Hyakune clan, however, some effects are universal: All members of the Hyakune clan have gained an "aura" of chakra, usually spanning approximately 20 feet in radius. Their chakra system has been "extended" outside of their body, and the aura is of extremely weak chakra but the fact it exists is enough for the members of the clan. In addition to this aura, the user gains chakra control almost to the pinnacle of chakra control with training. This aura allows the user to exert their almost complete control over their chakra onto foreign [loose, not inside a body] chakra that enters it. It can be dampened to reduce its effectiveness, or it can be bolstered by the user's chakra to increase its effectiveness. The user's aura essentially makes the area in which it spans a "network" in which they may move their chakra, and thus entire jutsu, with ease, allowing them to start the jutsu at any part within the aura. Some techniques, such as genjutsu, can be forced upon victims if they are simply in range of the aura.
Tenchi Gensō
The Tenchi Gensō is a potent evolution of the Tōsei no Eien, one which holds sway over the realm of Illusion and Seals. Through the Tenchi Gensō, the user is easily able to lull people into genjutsu as long as they are within the chakra aura, and minor [B-Ranked or less] genjutsu can be forced onto an opponent simply by pointing at them. The true strengths of the technique lie in its subtle abilities to manipulate illusions, as well as blur the boundary in the mind that separates illusion from reality. Some genjutsu are simply too "fake" for the mind to accept as real. When this natural reservation, this natural barrier is breached, the victim of a genjutsu will believe it to be real regardless of initial apprehension. This does not make the illusions infallible, it merely removes initial apprehensions as to the genjutsu being false. Logic and reasoning can eventually overcome the breaching of the natural barrier, but this undoubtedly makes the genjutsu many more times more potent. This aspect of the Kekkei Genkai is: 地 [Chi; Earth], the mortal coil.
The second aspect is 天 [Ten; Heaven], the aspect transcending the mortal plane. With Ten, two things happen: Ra transcends the traditional plane in terms of genjutsu, and can no longer become subject to any genjutsu bar her own under any circumstances. Much as a two dimensional shape cannot interact with a three dimensional shape, the primitive genjutsu of the mortal coil are unable to interact with Ra. The second aspect of "Ten" is that she becomes able to influence genjutsu on the mortal plane, as well as her own, as long as they are within her aura. She is not able to hugely alter them, mind, she is only able to change subtle aspects and mould them to her will within their natural progression - she could, for example, choose between whichever torture methods she so chose within a genjutsu designed to torture, but could never alter a genjutsu that lulled the opponent to sleep to them burning alive.
Weakness: However, this aura comes at a steep cost: As the Kekkei Genkai manifests and the user gains their unique version, they are locked into that "version"'s jutsu style and become unable to utilise their chakra for anything outside of it. Ra's Tenchi Gensō has locked her in to the fields of Genjutsu and Fuuinjutsu, and she is unable to use her chakra for any purpose outside of this bloodline, genjutsu or fuuinjutsu.
Chigoku Inkan
Name of the Kekkei Genkai: Chigoku Inkan [Verbatim Sealing]

Description: Ra is unable to use the main version of this technique. She only has its increased prowess in sealing techniques and the ability to create and alter seals to perform tasks. While she cannot use the main ability, she does have an intrinsic knowledge of the technique and is able to use it to detect the meanings of seals she sees.
The Chigoku Inkan allows the user to, in simple terms, exert such influence over sealing techniques that by thinking of a kanji they can inscribe it in the air and exert the Verbatim meaning of the kanji onto someone. This ability extends to many applications and regions, while also giving the user an innate knowledge of Fuuinjutsu and techniques that relate to seals or writing of any form - such as Summoning Jutsu. Thusly users of the bloodline have created a new technique known as the “ Kuchiyose no Jutsu” [explained in jutsu] and have been known to alter other techniques. The primary ability is, however, as aforementioned the ability to exert such prowess with seals that they can scribe a kanji mentally and inflict the kanji’s Verbatim translation onto someone. This can be elemental techniques, manipulative techniques, medical techniques - anything that the user can translate down to words they can inflict upon an opponent. However, the power of the kanji is only as powerful as the chakra used to create it and the meaning of the word E.G. - Using the word ‘Fire’ is a dilute meaning as it can encompass anything - however, Inferno, Scorch, Blaze, et cetera are more specific and can produce more powerful effects, but do cost more chakra. The longer the word, or even a chain of words is/are, the more influence the user has but they cost more chakra to use. Some kanji, such as “invincible”, are not feasible simply because the user does not have enough chakra in their body to create such an effect. While the technique is versatile, it is not overly powerful.
Weakness: The seals are constructs of pure chakra, brought into existence by the force of will of the user. In order to exert their effect upon an opponent, the Kanji must touch them. This can be done within half a foot of the user, or the Kanji can be launched at an opponent. As constructs of chakra, the seals are easily overpowered by a burst of foreign chakra. As the power of the seal is derived from its purity of shape, a well-controlled burst of chakra will split its form and break its power, rendering it useless. In addition, the user may not create kanji for elemental techniques of a chakra nature that they do not possess. The Chigoku Inkan does not, in of itself [I.e. there is not a technique in the jutsu section that says otherwise] possess the ability to infract upon the laws of the realm it is used in: I.e., it cannot defy physics. It cannot make you invincible. It cannot create black holes.

Description: The Saimin Suimin is a very useful genjutsu that works by separating an opponent from their motor controls and rendering them unconscious. The technique is resistible as it works via an ‘addiction’ method of induction - looking at the chakra which Saimin Suimin stems from leaves the image of a swinging golden pendant that leaves a delicate golden trail - the more you look at it, the more you want to look at it, and if you stare for long enough [7-8 seconds is enough for A ranked nin if Ra uses a moderate amount of Chakra] then you are placed under the genjutsu’s effect.
Weakness: The addiction principle. If you resist looking in the first place, you cannot be placed under the genjutsu’s hold.

Description: Satsuriku induces a killing frenzy unto the enemy, and removes inhibitions/cautions that would otherwise keep a person from doing anything brash. The genjutsu itself depends on the victim, but generally shows the death of everyone dear to the victim at the hands of the caster. It is easily customisable, however, to better reflect what would send the victim into a bloodthirsty rage. Satsuriku’s primary effect is not a genjutsu - the scene triggering the emotion is a genjutsu - but the fury is active so long as the victim’s emotions run high.
Weakness: Heavily reliant on an opponent’s emotions. If they can overcome the desire to kill, Hysteria is useless.

Description: Sakuran causes a series of maddening whispers that drive an opponent to insanity if they are not removed or ignored. Description: The Zensekai Gensō is Ra’s most powerful genjutsu, allowing her to completely and utterly take control of an opponent’s senses and mould everything they can possibly sense as she sees fit. The illusion is completely infallible, and no doujutsu or illusion removal technique can pierce it while the victim is within the boundaries of the Tenkan no Inkan. The range is, as aforementioned, within the four Tenkan no Inkan, which Ra must place around someone, or as a “trap” for them to walk into. Should the victim be released from the illusion, while they are in the four seals they are immediately returned exactly where the illusion was and will suffer no recollection of being out of the illusion. Ra also controls time within this illusion, to such an extent that she may extend the illusion’s time for weeks, even months. This jutsu is so finely created and maintained that Ra can control the entire world of each person within it, up to four people, with one for each of the Tenkan no Inkan. This genjutsu is so powerful that it fools all sapient beings regardless of “immunity” or extenuating circumstances. Level headed and all around mellow, Arano is noted to be a rather calm person. In day to day situations, he likes to keep a peaceful state of mind, something that is absent in his missions and duties as a shinobi. Though, in the past, there was a point in his childhood where his then bad attitude and overly serious disposition plagued his behavior. Arano considers this a troublesome part of his childhood, and still not too sure as to why he acted like that. But this all changed after a serious "talking to" by his father one night, which also saved him from his mother's wrath, more specifically, her belt. Arano is usually seen with a relaxed expression on his face and is not easily angered by anyone save for a few key individuals in his life. As a result, he is very well liked individual.
Arano does not consider himself skilled in the "art of small talk". Earlier in his years, sometimes people who would think of him to have the tendency to be a loner at times. He doesn't care to make conservation on trivial things as it bores him and is wholly awkward to him. Yet, when the conservation is of a higher level such as politics, ethics, etc, he chimes in very quickly and becomes a dynamic person to talk with. He is in no way shy and, in fact, has exceptionally public speaking skills; neither is he not friendly. Though there are some people that are an exception to this rule, that even when there isn't much to talk about, he loves chatting with them anyway.
One of Arano's major hobbies is reading. From fantasy to historical texts, he has always enjoyed reading. Due to this, his hunger to learn about all types of ninjutsu was born after becoming a genin. As he was aware that shinobi, save for those with special bloodlines, were limited in the variety of elemental jutsu they could learn, he studied up on all of them for the sake of knowledge. To him, becoming knowledgeable of jutsu he could not perform seemed like an asset and more importantly an enlightening experience. In his early teens, Arano could be found in the library at times reading throw scrolls on different types of techniques. His elder sister, Ai, would tease him for this at times for her own personal amusement.
Even in his younger years, Arano has always had difficulty showing mercy to his enemies, and in his childhood, people who simply did him wrong. As a child, whenever another child would ridicule a friend of his or on the rare occasion mess with Arano himself, he would beat that child to a pulp each and every time due to his sense of loyalty and love for his friends and his hate for people that dare to think less of him. This uncharacteristically wild and unrestrained part of him worried his parents in his early years. Whenever things got personal, he had issues being calm. Today, he still struggles being merciful to enemies regardless of how much of a threat they pose. For him, it is better to kill anyone who raises a kunai against him then let them live. He believes the risk being taken in showing mercy is very much lacking in efficiency. Even though his former sensei has confronted him on this issue on more then one occasion, he still somewhat struggles with this problem. As Arano once put it, everyone has their own demons to face.

[Chakra Visualization] - Arano possesses the unique ability to visualize the color of chakra, granting him insight beyond that of most individuals. It is through this apparently inherent skill that he's able to understand the complexity of most chakra based techniques through vision alone. Furthermore, this ability allows him to recognize objects infused with chakra, such as explosive tags, with extreme ease; this function alone has proved irreplaceable for both himself and his team. Due to the unknown origin of his ability, Arano didn't initially recognize that his visual prowess differed from that of others. Therefore, he did not consider his eyes as something that needed to be exceptionally honed and trained. This permitted his fighting style to benefit upon this ability, without becoming unnecessarily dependent upon it. Upon discovering his unique visual skill, during a mission to the land, Arano was soon able to take advantage of possessing a greater deal of visual information than most of his opponents.
While it was initially believed that his ability may be the genetic remnant of a dōjutsu user somewhere in his ancestral line, Arano eventually come to learn the truth of this trait. In reality this skill is the uncharacteristic manifestation of synesthesia, a condition in which an individual's sensory and cognitive pathways overlap in an uncommon fashion. More specifically, Arano appears to possess a rudimentary ability to sense chakra that would be insignificant on its own. Involuntarily, Arano's came to register these sensations as visual stimulation, clearly outlining the range and concentration of chakra. As this his chakra sensory is automatically rerouted as visual information, Arano is unable to refine his chakra sensory to be performed in the standard manner.
[Ninjutsu Expert] - Arano’s skill with ninjutsu has developed far beyond average, allowing him to utilize a wide range of such skills with a great deal of precision. His arsenal primarily consists of offensive and supplemental techniques that can be initiated without much delay, allowing him to maintain an active and mobile combat style. Furthermore, his years of training have allowed him to learn various skills to give himself more flexibility in handling challenges.
[Taijutsu Expert] - Having trained in Chinese Kenpo since his childhood, Arano is a highly talented Taijutsu user. He specializes and has become highly proficient in this Taijutsu, and it's various different styles. Chinese Kenpo requires extensive physical and mental training, as well as knowledge of body mechanics. Due to his training by his uncle and cousins, Arano's form of combat is more inclined to the strong fist which rely more on destructive force. He is known to use a combination of both Hikaken and Hakkyokuken, with various kicks thrown in as well. With Hikaken, Arano focuses more on palm techniques. The power in these techniques come from the force generated from fast arm rotation. As the arm rotates the speed creates force. This force is focused into the striking open palm and is then capable of producing exceptional damage against an opponent. However, when utilizing Hakkyokuken, Arano focuses more on hip rotation to build up force. This style uses hammering punches and elbow swings which rely almost completely on rotation of the hips. These two martial arts can actually be used together and formed into one discipline making it an extremely lethal art in the hands of a Taijutsu user such as Arano.
[Body of the Sage] - The Senju Clan were known for inheriting their leader's body; including his exceptionally powerful life-force and physical energy. Naturally, their powerful life-force provides them with incredible stamina, massive chakra reserves, but more important than anything it provides them with increased longevity and exceptional regenerative abilities. The Senju’s life force is naturally powerful enough to grant him the ability to function for two days with little rest from the massive increase in Stamina, allowing them to avoid being fatigued from fighting for extended periods of time. In addition, their chakra reserves are often large enough that they can use multiple B-Rank techniques with little difficulty and even access that of the natural art. More impressive than it all is the fact that their life force provides them with a regenerative healing factor that grants them the ability to heal from wounds in short periods of time though never regrowing limbs. Truly they are fascinating.

Ever since the day he started the Academy, Arano has been completely loyal to Konoha. He has faithfully performed mission after mission for the village hidden in the leaves; his life never felt grander then in the pursuit of the leaf and it's peoples interest. The corrupted Empire once tried to change Arano's alliance through bribery of a greater standing. He denied the messenger which led to a merciless killing and a message of his own. Any attempts on Konoha will forever be contended by Golden Eyed Devil. Due his love of the Hokage and admiration for the village, the Senju was sent on a mission to kill an Empire Lieutenant. Description: The first technique that Arano learnt underneath Izaya's wing. Arano initiates the technique through a simple Ram hand seal, at which he keeps his palm afloat. Channeling chakra through his tenketsu to his wrist, he subsequently "activates" it, therefore causing a spark of lightning to appear, he subsequently controls it to become a circular shape, and then it begins to stabilize into nothing more than a harmful emitter of paralytic electricity. However, Arano has turned this harmless technique into a rather innate portion of his combat style. His ability to utilize paralytic electricity to his advantage provides him with the capability to inflict temporary paralysis against his opponents, which allows for either his teammates or himself to inflict debilitating blows on his enemies while they have an exposed opening. Furthermore, considering that the technique is so simple to execute, he can create at the maximum, five orbs at any given time, providing him with numerous opportunities to harm his enemies.

Description: This technique was created and developed by Arano. Its conception relies on the aspect of chakra flow. This technique supposedly gives the user immunity against lightning, if used under the correct conditions and by a master. The user simply flows lightning chakra through the chakra network in order to create a "counter-balancing effect" making the user highly resistant to lightning attacks. However, this technique has a weakness. The user is immune to lightning attacks that are weaker than the lightning flown in his or her body. In other word, if the intensity of the lightning fired at the user is greater than that of the one flowing in his body, the user will be affected. However, the damage would be toned down.
If the strength of the lightning flown in the user's body is greater than that fired at him, he will be completely immune to the attack. This technique was shown to be activated in an instant. It was designed to be activated for a short period of time in which the attack occur as it was created to serve as a defense for lightning attacks, not as a passive technique. Level headed and all around mellow, Arano is noted to be a rather calm person. In day to day situations, he likes to keep a peaceful state of mind, something that is absent in his missions and duties as a shinobi. Though, in the past, there was a point in his childhood where his then bad attitude and overly serious disposition plagued his behavior. Arano considers this a troublesome part of his childhood, and still not too sure as to why he acted like that. But this all changed after a serious "talking to" by his father one night, which also saved him from his mother's wrath, more specifically, her belt. Arano is usually seen with a relaxed expression on his face and is not easily angered by anyone save for a few key individuals in his life. As a result, he is very well liked individual.
Arano does not consider himself skilled in the "art of small talk". Earlier in his years, sometimes people who would think of him to have the tendency to be a loner at times. He doesn't care to make conservation on trivial things as it bores him and is wholly awkward to him. Yet, when the conservation is of a higher level such as politics, ethics, etc, he chimes in very quickly and becomes a dynamic person to talk with. He is in no way shy and, in fact, has exceptionally public speaking skills; neither is he not friendly. Though there are some people that are an exception to this rule, that even when there isn't much to talk about, he loves chatting with them anyway.
One of Arano's major hobbies is reading. From fantasy to historical texts, he has always enjoyed reading. Due to this, his hunger to learn about all types of ninjutsu was born after becoming a genin. As he was aware that shinobi, save for those with special bloodlines, were limited in the variety of elemental jutsu they could learn, he studied up on all of them for the sake of knowledge. To him, becoming knowledgeable of jutsu he could not perform seemed like an asset and more importantly an enlightening experience. In his early teens, Arano could be found in the library at times reading throw scrolls on different types of techniques. His elder sister, Ai, would tease him for this at times for her own personal amusement.
Even in his younger years, Arano has always had difficulty showing mercy to his enemies, and in his childhood, people who simply did him wrong. As a child, whenever another child would ridicule a friend of his or on the rare occasion mess with Arano himself, he would beat that child to a pulp each and every time due to his sense of loyalty and love for his friends and his hate for people that dare to think less of him. This uncharacteristically wild and unrestrained part of him worried his parents in his early years. Whenever things got personal, he had issues being calm. Today, he still struggles being merciful to enemies regardless of how much of a threat they pose. For him, it is better to kill anyone who raises a kunai against him then let them live. He believes the risk being taken in showing mercy is very much lacking in efficiency. Even though his former sensei has confronted him on this issue on more then one occasion, he still somewhat struggles with this problem. As Arano once put it, everyone has their own demons to face.

[Chakra Visualization] - Arano possesses the unique ability to visualize the color of chakra, granting him insight beyond that of most individuals. It is through this apparently inherent skill that he's able to understand the complexity of most chakra based techniques through vision alone. Furthermore, this ability allows him to recognize objects infused with chakra, such as explosive tags, with extreme ease; this function alone has proved irreplaceable for both himself and his team. Due to the unknown origin of his ability, Arano didn't initially recognize that his visual prowess differed from that of others. Therefore, he did not consider his eyes as something that needed to be exceptionally honed and trained. This permitted his fighting style to benefit upon this ability, without becoming unnecessarily dependent upon it. Upon discovering his unique visual skill, during a mission to the land, Arano was soon able to take advantage of possessing a greater deal of visual information than most of his opponents.
While it was initially believed that his ability may be the genetic remnant of a dōjutsu user somewhere in his ancestral line, Arano eventually come to learn the truth of this trait. In reality this skill is the uncharacteristic manifestation of synesthesia, a condition in which an individual's sensory and cognitive pathways overlap in an uncommon fashion. More specifically, Arano appears to possess a rudimentary ability to sense chakra that would be insignificant on its own. Involuntarily, Arano's came to register these sensations as visual stimulation, clearly outlining the range and concentration of chakra. As this his chakra sensory is automatically rerouted as visual information, Arano is unable to refine his chakra sensory to be performed in the standard manner.
[Ninjutsu Expert] - Arano’s skill with ninjutsu has developed far beyond average, allowing him to utilize a wide range of such skills with a great deal of precision. His arsenal primarily consists of offensive and supplemental techniques that can be initiated without much delay, allowing him to maintain an active and mobile combat style. Furthermore, his years of training have allowed him to learn various skills to give himself more flexibility in handling challenges.
[Taijutsu Expert] - Having trained in Chinese Kenpo since his childhood, Arano is a highly talented Taijutsu user. He specializes and has become highly proficient in this Taijutsu, and it's various different styles. Chinese Kenpo requires extensive physical and mental training, as well as knowledge of body mechanics. Due to his training by his uncle and cousins, Arano's form of combat is more inclined to the strong fist which rely more on destructive force. He is known to use a combination of both Hikaken and Hakkyokuken, with various kicks thrown in as well. With Hikaken, Arano focuses more on palm techniques. The power in these techniques come from the force generated from fast arm rotation. As the arm rotates the speed creates force. This force is focused into the striking open palm and is then capable of producing exceptional damage against an opponent. However, when utilizing Hakkyokuken, Arano focuses more on hip rotation to build up force. This style uses hammering punches and elbow swings which rely almost completely on rotation of the hips. These two martial arts can actually be used together and formed into one discipline making it an extremely lethal art in the hands of a Taijutsu user such as Arano.
[Body of the Sage] - The Senju Clan were known for inheriting their leader's body; including his exceptionally powerful life-force and physical energy. Naturally, their powerful life-force provides them with incredible stamina, massive chakra reserves, but more important than anything it provides them with increased longevity and exceptional regenerative abilities. The Senju’s life force is naturally powerful enough to grant him the ability to function for two days with little rest from the massive increase in Stamina, allowing them to avoid being fatigued from fighting for extended periods of time. In addition, their chakra reserves are often large enough that they can use multiple B-Rank techniques with little difficulty and even access that of the natural art. More impressive than it all is the fact that their life force provides them with a regenerative healing factor that grants them the ability to heal from wounds in short periods of time though never regrowing limbs. Truly they are fascinating.

Ever since the day he started the Academy, Arano has been completely loyal to Konoha. He has faithfully performed mission after mission for the village hidden in the leaves; his life never felt grander then in the pursuit of the leaf and it's peoples interest. The corrupted Empire once tried to change Arano's alliance through bribery of a greater standing. He denied the messenger which led to a merciless killing and a message of his own. Any attempts on Konoha will forever be contended by Golden Eyed Devil. Due his love of the Hokage and admiration for the village, the Senju was sent on a mission to kill an Empire Lieutenant. Channeling chakra through his tenketsu to his wrist, he subsequently "activates" it, therefore causing a spark of lightning to appear, he subsequently controls it to become a circular shape, and then it begins to stabilize into nothing more than a harmful emitter of paralytic electricity. However, Arano has turned this harmless technique into a rather innate portion of his combat style. His ability to utilize paralytic electricity to his advantage provides him with the capability to inflict temporary paralysis against his opponents, which allows for either his teammates or himself to inflict debilitating blows on his enemies while they have an exposed opening. Description: A rather odd application of the Lightning Orb. Description: This technique was created and developed by Arano. Its conception relies on the aspect of chakra flow. This technique supposedly gives the user immunity against lightning, if used under the correct conditions and by a master. The user simply flows lightning chakra through the chakra network in order to create a "counter-balancing effect" making the user highly resistant to lightning attacks. However, this technique has a weakness. The user is immune to lightning attacks that are weaker than the lightning flown in his or her body. In other word, if the intensity of the lightning fired at the user is greater than that of the one flowing in his body, the user will be affected. However, the damage would be toned down.
If the strength of the lightning flown in the user's body is greater than that fired at him, he will be completely immune to the attack. This technique was shown to be activated in an instant. None of the Great Old Ones will make an appearance, but Izari's attacks are very much inspired by Cthulhu especially the Elder Seal technique.

Personality: Infuriatingly charismatic, Remi is rambunctious and easily excited. Despite her aggressive fighting style, the Mitarashi is well mannered and deceptively charming. She holds conversations with her subordinates as well as her superiors. However, she has a little bit of a problem when it comes to...the more carnal pleasures.
Often described as "Horny without being lewd or rude" and "Violent without being psychopathic and mindless" Remi is as passionate as she is skilled. This passion can be focused though and is a direct correlation to her kekkei genkai. She is not led by anger, but by her unquestioning loyalty to the Empress and her clan. She can be brutally honest should the need arise, and is frequently admonished for her lack of tact when correcting a subordinate. She's arrogant, but has never claimed to be perfect after all.
When she isn't training or meditating, Remi can be found in the library, reading over technique or history scrolls. For fun, she takes care of the Empire's various gardens while her clones continue to study and practice elsewhere.
When she fights, she is vicious and precise. Given her propensity to mix ninjutsu and taijutsu, she has mastered her own brand of nintaijutsu and related ninjutsus. The drawback to this is that her offensive genjutsu is nearly nonexistent while her defensive genjutsu is weak. Like her signature summons (An equivalent of a Japanese Giant Hornet) she knows that she is deadly on her own, but in a swarm of ten, she can be downright genocidal against an unprepared rebel fortress. It stands to reason that no one...absolutely no one, should steal her sweet meat buns. Heads will roll.
Recent History: Most recently, the future seventeenth head of the Mitarashi clan has been busy routing pockets of Rebels.
She has a history (or a legend some would say) of single handedly decimating Rebel outposts that have be softened by Empire forces.
Remi Mitarashi had been born towards the end of Spring in the Mitarashi compound outside of a village. A secretive clan, the Mitarashi clan guarded their pact with snakes almost as viciously as they guarded their favorite foods. As such, they became known for their amazing tracking skills as well as their quick fighting style. Remi was an oddity in that she rejected the snake scroll. Instead, she'd signed the Hornet's Scroll, an artifact her family held onto and predates the snake compact. The Hornets were rather picky and aggressive about whom they allowed to sign their contract, and demanded a specific Mitarashi kekkei genkai to be present before they allowed themselves to be summoned. Thus, the switch to the less picky, less effective snake contract.
The Oosuzumebachi, a large species of hornet whose sizes are as small as her palm and as large as a large building, were the ones that accepted her as their de facto summoner. As such, they took over her training and helped master her rare set of kekkei genkai.
With this knowledge, Remi (a distant branch member of the Mitarashi clan) fought and charmed her way along the familial hierarchy to position herself next in line. Her hornets bested many a snake summon with their speed and agility.
When the war broke out, Remi was recruited for the Empress' army along with a squad of Mitarashi trackers. There, she flourish with the constant battles and developed her own fighting style and associated ninjutsu and taijutsu. With some fine tuning from the Hornets, she named the style after them as thanks to them for training her.
Since then, she has been joined with the 8-tailed beast whom she fights with every few weeks or so. The practice benefits her to better understand the chakra she possessed as well as balancing between his demon chakra and her own. The Beast enjoys their time together now, having been with the same container for nearly five years. They still have their disagreements (Gyuuki is not a fan of Remi's lax attitude, Remi thinks Gyuuki needs to find a cute little something to screw), they are no where as hostile as they used to be.
Lately, she's been making a name for herself when a Rebel hideout has been proving to be incredibly stubborn. With her swarm of hornets and clones, Remi is her own army. Her family's long legacy of quick strikes and hit/run attacks have also influenced her fighting style.

Kekkei Genkai: Plasma Nature
A Mitarashi family secret. No one knows exactly which (if any) chakra natures contribute to this advanced form of nature transformation. What is known is that Remi is the first to manifest it in over nine generations.
Kekkei Genkai: Fallen's Eyes
A rare Mitarashi kekkei genkai. Every plasma user in the Mitarashi line has a slim chance of obtaining this naturally. A Doujutsu, this ability allows the user to use blinding plasma without blinding themselves in the process. When trained further by the Hornet summons, the eyes can be used as an organic targeting system and can help the user track thermal signatures as well as allow her to see clear picture rather than blurs during high speed combat. Remi uses these in conjunction with her style of fighting so that she doesn't need to stop and search for an opponent in the middle of battle. If there is a good relationship with the summons and enough chakra from the summoned, these eyes can also be used to allow the user to see through his or her summon's eyes. Granted, only one can be used at a time. The eyes become blank white with two bright blue lines that are perpendicular. The point of intersection is her primary viewing area that can be magnified as needed.
Kekkei Genkai: Hornet's sound
This innate ability special to Remi only allows her to understand and speak the hornet's summon speech. Likewise, she can communicate with natural hornets and understand/simulate their pheromones. This is physically indicated when her eye lines spider web into a hexagonal pattern.
Hornet Style: A nintaijutsu style developed from watching a group of her summoned hornets swarm and destroy a practice dummy. After using Lightning Release Armor, her chakra converges on her arms and legs and becomes swirling gauntlets/boots of lightning and water. When standing, the lightning vibrates at an extreme level, and can arc, scorching the earth beneath and around her randomly. Her reflexes and speed are greatly increased. Remi's basic taijutsu attacks are now infused with water and lightning, which can lead to very painful, if not outright deadly, shocks and burns (both from lightning and the newly heated water).

Remi extends her gauntlets into long blades and crosses them. This shoots two thin but deadly blades of lightning infused water that cross over in a "scissor cutting" motion.

Like a lightning storm, Remi strikes unexpectedly and hard. She seems to flash randomly around the battlefield while attacking and leaves Lightning Release Shadow Clones disguised as after images behind. Once finished, she and the clones attack as a team, no one doing the same as the other.

This is the mix of Horner Style and her Kekkei Genkai. Her plasma surrounds and encompasses her body like a body glove. Glowing a bright bluish-white, her body is incredibly hot to the touch as is the very air closest to her. Her taijutsu speed, strength and agility have not changed, but she is incredibly difficult to look at due to the bright light of the plasma.

Remi uses her plasma to form a ball of plasma in both hands. She can throw them or mold them into blades that she can throw at her opponents. Senbon or smoke bombs may or may not be contained within. When used with her Doujutsu after a successful hit, the following Shikome attacks become homing attacks.

A concussion blast is released from Remi smashing two Plasma Release: Shikome jutsus together. This is very dangerous due to the fact that she can blow herself apart if she uses too little or too much chakra in either hand. They must be perfectly balanced. This was impossible prior to obtaining the Fallen's Eyes, so it can only be used with the Doujutsu active.

A large mass of plasma is created and merged with the massive Hornet Queen summon. The queen is armed with three heads, each one holding four eyes and four sets of mandibles and now has plasma flowing through her body to use as she sees fit. To keep the plasma flowing, Remi must be in constant physical contact with the Queen.

Personality: Infuriatingly charismatic, Remi is rambunctious and easily excited. Despite her aggressive fighting style, the Mitarashi is well mannered and deceptively charming. She holds conversations with her subordinates as well as her superiors. However, she has a little bit of a problem when it comes to...the more carnal pleasures.
Often described as "Horny without being lewd or rude" and "Violent without being psychopathic and mindless" Remi is as passionate as she is skilled. This passion can be focused though and is a direct correlation to her kekkei genkai. She is not led by anger, but by her unquestioning loyalty to the Empress and her clan. She can be brutally honest should the need arise, and is frequently admonished for her lack of tact when correcting a subordinate. She's arrogant, but has never claimed to be perfect after all.
When she isn't training or meditating, Remi can be found in the library, reading over technique or history scrolls. For fun, she takes care of the Empire's various gardens while her clones continue to study and practice elsewhere.
When she fights, she is vicious and precise. Given her propensity to mix ninjutsu and taijutsu, she has mastered her own brand of nintaijutsu and related ninjutsus. The drawback to this is that her offensive genjutsu is nearly nonexistent while her defensive genjutsu is weak. Like her signature summons (An equivalent of a Japanese Giant Hornet) she knows that she is deadly on her own, but in a swarm of ten, she can be downright genocidal against an unprepared rebel fortress. It stands to reason that no one...absolutely no one, should steal her sweet meat buns. Heads will roll.
Recent History: Most recently, the future seventeenth head of the Mitarashi clan has been busy routing pockets of Rebels.
She has a history (or a legend some would say) of single handedly decimating Rebel outposts that have be softened by Empire forces.
Remi Mitarashi had been born towards the end of Spring in the Mitarashi compound outside of a village. A secretive clan, the Mitarashi clan guarded their pact with snakes almost as viciously as they guarded their favorite foods. As such, they became known for their amazing tracking skills as well as their quick fighting style. Remi was an oddity in that she rejected the snake scroll. Instead, she'd signed the Hornet's Scroll, an artifact her family held onto and predates the snake compact. The Hornets were rather picky and aggressive about whom they allowed to sign their contract, and demanded a specific Mitarashi kekkei genkai to be present before they allowed themselves to be summoned. Thus, the switch to the less picky, less effective snake contract.
The Oosuzumebachi, a large species of hornet whose sizes are as small as her palm and as large as a large building, were the ones that accepted her as their de facto summoner. As such, they took over her training and helped master her rare set of kekkei genkai.
With this knowledge, Remi (a distant branch member of the Mitarashi clan) fought and charmed her way along the familial hierarchy to position herself next in line. Her hornets bested many a snake summon with their speed and agility.
When the war broke out, Remi was recruited for the Empress' army along with a squad of Mitarashi trackers. There, she flourish with the constant battles and developed her own fighting style and associated ninjutsu and taijutsu. With some fine tuning from the Hornets, she named the style after them as thanks to them for training her.
Since then, she has been joined with the 8-tailed beast whom she fights with every few weeks or so. The practice benefits her to better understand the chakra she possessed as well as balancing between his demon chakra and her own. The Beast enjoys their time together now, having been with the same container for nearly five years. They still have their disagreements (Gyuuki is not a fan of Remi's lax attitude, Remi thinks Gyuuki needs to find a cute little something to screw), they are no where as hostile as they used to be.
Lately, she's been making a name for herself when a Rebel hideout has been proving to be incredibly stubborn. With her swarm of hornets and clones, Remi is her own army. Her family's long legacy of quick strikes and hit/run attacks have also influenced her fighting style.

Kekkei Genkai: Plasma Nature
A Mitarashi family secret. No one knows exactly which (if any) chakra natures contribute to this advanced form of nature transformation. What is known is that Remi is the first to manifest it in over nine generations.
Kekkei Genkai: Fallen's Eyes
A rare Mitarashi kekkei genkai. Every plasma user in the Mitarashi line has a slim chance of obtaining this naturally. A Doujutsu, this ability allows the user to use blinding plasma without blinding themselves in the process. When trained further by the Hornet summons, the eyes can be used as an organic targeting system and can help the user track thermal signatures as well as allow her to see clear picture rather than blurs during high speed combat. Remi uses these in conjunction with her style of fighting so that she doesn't need to stop and search for an opponent in the middle of battle. If there is a good relationship with the summons and enough chakra from the summoned, these eyes can also be used to allow the user to see through his or her summon's eyes. Granted, only one can be used at a time. The eyes become blank white with two bright blue lines that are perpendicular. The point of intersection is her primary viewing area that can be magnified as needed.
Kekkei Genkai: Hornet's sound
This innate ability special to Remi only allows her to understand and speak the hornet's summon speech. Likewise, she can communicate with natural hornets and understand/simulate their pheromones. This is physically indicated when her eye lines spider web into a hexagonal pattern.
Hornet Style: A nintaijutsu style developed from watching a group of her summoned hornets swarm and destroy a practice dummy. After using Lightning Release Armor, her chakra converges on her arms and legs and becomes swirling gauntlets/boots of lightning and water. When standing, the lightning vibrates at an extreme level, and can arc, scorching the earth beneath and around her randomly. Her reflexes and speed are greatly increased. Remi's basic taijutsu attacks are now infused with water and lightning, which can lead to very painful, if not outright deadly, shocks and burns (both from lightning and the newly heated water).
Hornet Style: Decapitating Scissor

Remi extends her gauntlets into long blades and crosses them. This shoots two thin but deadly blades of lightning infused water that cross over in a "scissor cutting" motion.

Like a lightning storm, Remi strikes unexpectedly and hard. She seems to flash randomly around the battlefield while attacking and leaves Lightning Release Shadow Clones disguised as after images behind. Once finished, she and the clones attack as a team, no one doing the same as the other.

If all of the Lightning Release Shadow Clones make it out of a volley intact, they all rush the opponents. Behind them, Remi will use Water Release: Wild Water Wave to injure her clones, thus detonating them and electrifying the water rushing at the opponent.
