There was a commotion outside of the doors that led to the room full of cages. Cages of creatures and mutants.
A girl with blondish- brownish hair was pushed into the room, along with 8 guards and 3 scientists. The girl looked around the room, and seemed to wink at Bering, Austin and Sariah, but perhaps it was a trick of the light. She screamed and kicked and 4 guards lifted her up.
The girl was thrown into a extra large cage and the cage door was locked behind her.
They all walked out of the room, leaving it as calm as it had been before.
The girl looked out the side of the cage at them and laughed.

Austin sat in his cage, long used to the pain of the wires pressing against his body. He watched the girl be brought in, arms folded tightly across his chest. It wasn't often that someone new was brought it in, she was too old, she looked to be around 17. Why would they have not seen her before? Unless his memory was fogged. There wasn't a reason to keep her hidden, or so he thought. His face twisted into a slight grimace, feeling the familiar pressure in his gums, followed by the growth of his canines into fangs. He was hungry again. He bared the fangs at a passing scientist, a silent show of hatred and his hunger. How he wished he could bury his fangs into one of their necks. Or any body object for that matter. He leaned his head back against the wires behind him, feeling his neck begin to hurt, a burning type feeling. He could last a while with the pain, but one time, in interest of his reaction, watched to see how long he could last. He tore up his neck badly before they supplied him with the blood that he needed. That time period was a day and a half. His hand unconsciously travelled to his throat, where his fingers travelled over the scars located on it.

"So, how have you all been? Like your cages?" Nai said, the last part sarcastically.

She sat in her cage confused why she would ask that. "My life has been miserable as if you haven't noticed that." She responded sassily. Rolling her eyes

As Nai continued to struggle with the guards, Sariah could be seen cowering in the corner of her cage, forcing her palms onto her little ears in an attempt to block out the noise. Even with her hands covering them, she could still hear the cage clanging and the footsteps of the guards. A few moments after the noises were over, Sariah lowered her hands and leaned her back against the cage, sighing a sigh of relief.

Sariah wiped a few tears off her eyes with her sleeve. She tried to take a quick glance at the newcomer, turning another way whenever Nai would try to return the look. The girl was certainly upbeat for someone who was just imprisoned for the rest of her life. Was she planning something to escape, or just trying to keep the mood up? Whatever the case, Sariah didn't want to spent any effort meeting her. Last time she did, they took him away and he was never seen again.
It wasn't something she'd want to experience again.

"Oh c'mon guys! Why so glum?" Nai said.
She lowered her voice and it became serious, but it was still hear able by all of them. "Haven't you noticed some of the scientists acting weird, or nice? And didn't you see all those guards that escorted me in here? Those two things aren't just coincidence. You've all heard of some place for the Escapees, yeah? A rumor through those scientists, the ones who help you?"

She sat in her cage disappointed and sad that another person was locked here, but shook it off and started thinking about other things. How was she ever to get out of here. What was next death? She rested her back against the cold bars of the cage and whispered to herself "Dang it. " She looked around and saw how everyone else looked, sad. She wished she could get out of here and this new girl could mean more experiments. How did this new girl know so much? I wonder why those scientists acting weird. "I think someone or something might come." She said so you could barely hear it.

"Exactly. That someone, or something, is me." Nai said, still a bit quiet and barely hearing the words the girl had said.

Chelsey stared at the ground almost too intensely wondering Why is she here? What does she want? Is she dangerous? "Why are you here?"she asked as if she weren't supposed to be here.

"I am legend here.Do you know what I'm legend for? To the scientists, the bad ones that is, I'm legend for letting their science leave. Getting them to safety.
To the Escapees, I'm legend for setting them loose and giving them a home. That's what I'm here today for.
To be your Prodigy." Nai said, all very silently but hear able.

"I'm not sure that will work, really I understand you are really great at stuff and the hero, but here its different trust me. It wont be easy, and most likely you wont succeed, they'll watch you like a hawk." Chelsey answered quietly.

Nai laughed. "Trust me. I've been watching all of you like a hawk. You think I'm that foolish? That I don't know that they'll be watching me? I have eyes on the inside, spies so to call them. Other Escapees in disguise."

"I don't believe you this is not possible, they would know if some random people happen to come when you are here." She answered like it was obvious.

((Woah. Slow down, guys..))
As she inevitably eavesdropped on their conversation, she fiddled with the headband with the bunny ears one of the scientists gave her nervously. The newcomer was going on about something involving escape. She was probably just delusional from all the testing the scientists have done, but her strangely well thought out speech of being some legend was something she could not simply ignore. Sariah gave a confused look to Chelsey, making a quick glance at Nai before turning back towards Chelsey, as if asking, "Do you think we can trust her?"

"I'm not sure maybe, actually no. She probably is just trying to cheer us up, though the scientists looked really nervous when she came in." Chelsey answered. Not even sure if they should trust her.

Nai sighed. She could see why they wouldn't trust her, but why wouldn't they leap at the thought of escape? Because it sounded too good to be true?
"I get it, you don't believe me. But like you said, those scientists are scared of me. At least some of them are."

He said slowly," and how do we know you aren't another test? To see if we would blindly trust you, and try to escape." To those that were around him most often would hear the slight difference in his voice, his fangs causing the slightly change. He looked at the girl, eyes narrowed dangerously at her. He was suspicious of things like this, reasonably.

Nai sighed. This was group was going to be harder than she thought. "It's fine for you to not trust me. Go ahead, stay here. I'm not trying to convince you, I'm trying to give you what you want. The choice is yours."

Bering hadn't been listening to what they were saying, as far as he was concern, the cage was torture for him. He had special restraints covering his hands and his cage was continually heated, to make sure it wouldn't frost over. But it wasn't warm, it was boiling. He tried to control his pain, there was a little girl in a cage next to him, and he was scared that if his restraints broke she'd be the first to freeze. As Bering got angrier and angrier he started throwing his restraints against his cage "LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT!" He screamed, his restraints began to frost, but melted back into water, which only fueled his desire to get out of this horrible contraption he was stuck in.
