[OOC] Magic: the Gathering -- the Transguild Promenade (Page 2)

I'll put up a description of my character. completely forgot about it.

edit: we'll begin soon, at any rate. Today or tomorrow. In the first posts, we'll essentially be having shenanigans, small adventures during the course of which every character not yet acquainted with the Promenade will be so. It will be a sort of mini-arc in which we establish the characters and the interaction among them. After that the Plot will start to show.

Sounds skippy to me.

On the contrary, I'd like to think establishing our daily activities as part of the Promenade is a good way to transition smoothly into the larger events set in motion later.

Unless that is somehow a slang form I don't understand.

Wizards recently redid their site, it's got more story info in it and it's pretty cool.

I'd love to see Oldus on Zendikar and Alara. Is Alara restored by our point in the plot?

Also: Not only does a map of Ravnica not seem to exist, but from what I've read there may not even be any way to determine the basic layout. The cards and books give us locations, but there's no hint at where they are in relation to each other.

Any update on the kick off?

To Gisk: If you read the novels it will give you a rough idea of how some of Ravnica is layed out. Any kind of exact map is pretty much impossible.

I figured as much. I picked up the first book in the Ravnica Cycle, so I'll get on reading that.

Has Sath been around? Probably he's busy with real life stuff.

Can we make multiple characters? I wanna do a nonhuman.

So just a heads up. I am going on vacation for a week, from this Tuesday to the next. I am still in for this.

It looks like Sath might not have even been on since his last post.

real life guys, sorry. I feel terrible because I'm torn between this site and another one. I'll be prioritizing the Guild now. With that said, I was thinking of a Guild meetup type event to get all the characters in one place. How many of you are still around?
