The OOC is under Construction.

The Justice League. A name that's known all over our pale, blue planet.
Where almost 8 billion people all know, and feel very strongly about the league.
Some think them to be bad, but most think they're good.
They're legendary heroes who's saved the world more times than you could keep count of, each of them with their own amazing talents and gifts.
But it started with seven people, all from different walks of life. Those seven changed the world forever, they inspired others to be like them, to be better. To be Good.
Someone in the league did something for you. Something that changed you. That altered your very core, and it made you want to be like them. And sooner or later, your gifts started to show. And you joined a leaguer's side.
People called you sidekicks, and while that wasn't incorrect, it wasn't very flattering.
Now, in the sixth year of the League's existence, it's time for you, the sidekicks, to rise up to the occasion.
Step out of the Shadows and into the spotlight.

Today's the day

Sweetness. Gotta go searching for one I want to reinvision. Will most likely post again with my choice, well given it hasn't been taken by then, of course.

So, can we choose ANY DC hero and make a younger version of them? Or is it limited to the heroes who are a teenager/young adult?

Go crazy.

You have to be able to connect them to a adult leaguer, though.

Original Seven of the Jusice League is obviously off limits.

I'll be going with Eddie Bloomberg, aka Red Devil.
I have a rough one now, but no Backstory yet. I'll be changing it so the devil's have a sort of father-son relationship.

Because Hillan couldn't see it on skype I'm posting the image on here, and its my idea... which I hope he'll let me do since even though it is technically two characters, they are awesome potential.

Name: Edward “Eddie” Bloomberg

Age: 15

Alias: Red Devil

Appearance: http://media.bestlittlesites.com/images/users/gallerypictures/13993L.jpg

Skills: Eddie, in spite of having no schooling is actually an educated young man. While he was at the facility, he had his own library that became his source of knowledge.

Powers: Eddie’s powers come from the activation of his latent metahuman genes via experimentation. His metahuman abilities include enhanced agility, endurance, and healing, superhuman strength, and fire breathing. Further experimentation changed his body His new inhuman body grants him several new powers, most of which he has yet to fully discover. His new body’s set of powers include retractable claws, retractable wings, a prehensile tail, gasoline like blood, an internal temperature of six hundred degrees, and red skin that he can heat to burn through solid metal.

Back-story: Eddie is an orphan. He never knew his parents and the only person he ever thought to be his guardians were the nuns who ran the orphanage. For most of his childhood, Eddie watched other kids get adopted, but no one ever did adopt him. They always said he was weird.

Eddie was six when someone finally adopted him. He thought he was getting the full deal, but he was wrong. He thought he was being given to a family, but instead he was brought to a facility where they did experiments on him. They poked, prodded and tested his limits. They never showed their faces, but they were always watching.

Five years had already passed when his body looked the way it now. His once olive skin and brown hair turned fiery red and dead white. A tail, horns and wings popped out of nowhere. His breath was always hot and flaming. His blood was black, oily and set things on fire. His body was constantly hot as if he was burning, but he never was. His new body was great. It made wearing clothes annoying because he was always warm, but with his new body he had powers.

After months of plotting Eddie escaped from the facility, but sometimes he wished he didn’t. Looking like he was no one would approach him. He lived on the street, in church towers, alleys, abandoned houses, and rooftops. It was a blessing that he no longer needed to eat, drink, and sleep much, but looking the way he is Eddie was always alone. Still, he strived to be good which is why people began calling him the Red Devil.

He became a hero, young and experienced, but a hero nonetheless. His title made people less afraid of him, but the true blessing came in the form of the Blue Devil. The Blue devil, Daniel Cassidy, adopted him as his own. The two of them were freaks of nature, inhuman, but they were both good people that strived to be better than what people thought of them and their appearance.

How is this character different: History and source of power is different.

Name:
Timothy “Tim” Jackson Drake – Wayne.

Age:
16

Alias:
Robin

Appearance:
171 CM tall, 64 KG heavy. Tim sports a slim and athletic build. While, he doesn't exactly fit into “Tall Dark and Handsome” just yet, the girls at Gotham High School seems to take a liking to his appearance. He keeps his black hair short and away from his face. He's usually seen dressed in finer clothes, chinos and dress-shirts, usually. Like all Robin, he keeps his identity secret to others, so when out of costume around the team, he wears sunglasses and altered contact lenses.

Skills:
Being a Robin, Tim possesses many skills. He's been trained by several people, The Wildcat, Batman, Nightwing and Lady Shiva, amongst others. He's skilled in Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, Akido, Judo, Karate and Kaw Maga. However, his greatest skill is Bojutsu, to fight with a staff. Lady Shiva thinks of him as the greatest Bojutsu-user to have ever lived.

Beyond that, Tim holds a genius IQ, he's a skilled engineer, chemist, hacker and tactician. He holds mentalist-capabilities and detective skills that are second only to Batman's.

Powers
Nada.

Backstory:
Born to rich parents, Tim was set up for a life of luxury. However, disaster struck Tim as the boy was only two years old. His parents were murdered in a robbery gone wrong, leaving Tim an Orphan, and the heir to Drake Industries. However, the board of Drake Industries kicked the boy out of his home, and put him into an orphanage, cutting him off of his heritage until the boy would turn 18 and become an adult.

Tim didn't really know any of this, but instead was raised at orphanages. At the age of six, he started to get into trouble, right around the time he started school. He was much smarter than the other kids, and were bored straight away. He got into fights with the other boys, either by sticking up for someone who was getting bullied, or by mocking one of the bullies for being stupid. Because of Tim getting bored so quickly with how simple the tasks given to him were, he was falsely diagnosed with ADHD, the pills he got would dull his senses, and keep him from causing trouble.

Well, that is, until the orphanage couldn't afford his pills anymore. He was eleven when his life would change forever. Five years ago. He was living in a run down apartment in downtown Gotham, being a runner for a few gangs to earn money. He picked up his street-smarts, his acrobatics and his fighting instinct on the streets. One night the Caped Crusader, The Batman was in Tim's neighbourhood. Tim, wanting to prove himself to his gang-friends, and to himself, thought he was gonna taunt the Gotham Knight. He tried to steal the wheels of the batmobile, while the owner was in another building, dealing with gangbanging thugs.

As Tim was taking the tires off of the car, he heard a light tap behind him, like a single footstep. And then he felt a tap on his shoulder. As the boy turned around, he was met with a punch from a slightly older boy, maybe two or three years older than him. The boy wore a green and red costume, a black cape, and a black mask covering his eyes. He was the boywonder. Robin.

Tim stumbled backwards, and then he dashed at the Robin. The two fighting on seemingly equal footing, however, while Tim was struggling, the other boy was laughing. Tim took many hits, his nose broke, the Robin shattered his collarbone and dislocated his shoulder. But still the boy refused to submit. And in a last ditch effort, he lunged at the Robin, and punched the birdboy in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Tim passed out afterward, and woke up at the Gotham Hospital's emergency ward, where he was being treated for his injuries. Sometime after, Batman would seek Tim out, and give the boy a proposal. Batman would train the boy, show him a better life, a better way of living. And in return, all Tim had to do was try his hardest. Tim was sent across the world for three years, Batman had no need for a sidekick, while Dick Grayson, the other boy, was Robin. Tim and Dick bonded over the years, and they became as close as brothers by the time Dick turned 18, an adult, he hung the Robin costume up, passing on the mask to Tim.

Now, Tim's been under the guise of Robin for eleven months, and he's ready for something else. To show to the world, and to Bruce that he's better than Dick. That he's good enough to become Batman one day. Making him a number one choice for the new team the Justice League are putting together.

How is this character different:
I did the same thing that DCAU did with Tim. I removed Jason out of the continuity, and instead put his features, especially in terms of personality and backstory, into Tim's character. Besides that, I want to try a Robin who works more similar to Batman than what Dick Grayson did in the show.

Name: Hiroshi “Hiro” Kagawa

Age: 16

Alias: Kid Flash

Appearance: Normal –

Suited up –

Skills: Computer tech and IT knowledge
Strong background in science, physiologic mainly
Good at in line skating
Seriously good at Backalley Brawler 3: Hyper HD Edition, seriously don't even try to beat him...

Powers: Hiro's power stem from ending up having his physical and spiritual state merged with an almost alternate reality known simply as 'the speed force'. With it he is not only able to run at incredibly high speeds, but also his reaction time, and endurance are also given serious boosts. Hiro is not effected by friction. Although Hiro's body has a hyper accelerated metabolism which helps him heal quicker than normal. It also means he needs to consume much more food than a normal person in order to get the bigger levels of calories needed to burn.

Able to accelerate his body down to a molecular level, Hiro can also hypothetically vibrate his molecules enough to allow him to move through solid objects. The term hypothetically is used though because Hiro hasn't quite gotten the hang of it despite his mentor's training.

Backstory: Born to a Japanese father and an American mother, who had met while he was working in the US air force base located in Japan. Both of whom have retired from the Air Force base and now work at the same corporation on a very busy schedule that leave them not seeing Hiro very often. Hiro though grew up a self-confident, excitable young boy in the streets of Tokyo. Although as time passed the energy and cheeriness started to fade slowly. As school became a daunting place where Hiro kept being scared of how others perceived him. Especially when he got teased for being half-American.

Hiro felt helpless, blending into the crowd despite strong grades. He seeked comfort in the small things he had in his life, working on computers, in line skating with his few friends, and generally whatever else he could do. Though as he grew up, he always found himself interested in the Justice League that was forming in the US. In particular the hero known as The Flash. Hiro always thought the guy seemed so cool, even when his friends were all Superman or Batman fans. Hiro knew in his heart who the really cool one was.

One night while working on his personal PC, Hiro was trying to install particular parts into the machine while also not paying much attention to the lightning storm that was going on outside. Suddenly in the blink of an eye Hiro felt some kind of strange electrical serge go through the computer and everything around him go blank, frozen in time. Hiro saw a strange world, peaceful and serene though moving in slow motion, as this place seemed to connect with him in some deep feeling that ran through the very core of his body. As soon as it all happened though, Hiro suddenly found himself flung back into reality, the force of the shock knocking him hard back into his bedroom wall.

It took time for him to even process what happened to him that night, let alone what happened next. When he slowly began to discover that suddenly he could move much... much faster than before. When he finally processed what had happened to him though. Hiro was all smiles as he realized he was just like his hero. Quickly he made an admittedly stupid looking costume, and started patrolling the streets of Tokyo for troublemakers needing to be brought to justice.

The idea of a hero being a blur through the city caught the media's eye, as well as many others. Hiro didn't really understand this until one night when a red clad hero suddenly stood in front of him while he did his nightly patrols. It wasn't just anyone though, it was The Flash himself. Hiro almost lost it when his hero was standing right in front of him. Though The Flash wasn't in such a giddy mood. As he wanted answers as to who he was and how he was able to move so fast.

After the two spent that night going over everything. Hiro begged The Flash to be his trainer and mentor, to train him in being a speedy hero. The Flash mulled it over, before finally reluctantly agreeing. Although at first their relationship was rocky at first, eventually Hiro grew to bond with The Flash, eventually learning his mentor's real name as Barry Allen, and meeting Barry's wife in Central City.

These days Hiro has cheered up big time, a swagger in his step and an attitude he hasn't had in years. Going from quiet and hidden to loud and class clown. But every once in a while he'll get a signal from his mentor to suit up in his much better looking gear, and get to the US or where ever in a moment's notice.

Hiro's got to go be a superhero, and his damn proud of it.

How is this character different: Besides the fact his Japanese and isn't actually related to Barry this time?
