Plot
Welcome to the continent of Bor. Hundreds of years ago a great rebellion was waged against a tyrannical emperor, Athos, said to be descended from the dark god Kron. The war between the two factions was long and bloody for both sides. Just when the rebels started to gain the upper hand, Athos invoked a ritual that gave him the power of his ancestor. Using it to raise armies of undead and terrible creatures he soon began to turn the war in his favor. In desperation, the leader, now known as Saint Engels, prayed to the seven gods of light to bring hope. The heavens answered her prayer and blessed her and her three closest companions with sacred weapons that would forevermore be tied to their bloodline. This weapons, blessed by the gods were specially useful against the dark armies and soon they took the war to Athos himself. The dark emperor, fearing his destruction left hidden instructions to his followers to ensure his return.
It is now six hundred years since the dark emperor was defeated and Bor now is divided in four countries, Shere, to the north, famous for it's peerless sword masters; Perm, to the southwest, a dessert kingdom, infamous for the mercenaries that come from there. Engels, the largest country, is ruled by a theocracy and places high value on magical skills. It is located to the east, sharing borders with Shere, Perm and Miess. Miess is a small nation ruled by a high council formed by the nobles of the land. It is divided in small fiefdoms that are ruled relatively independently by each noble.
They have been six hundred years of peace, but now, in the year 618 since the great war, something dark starts to stir in the continent.....
