Moderator Weapon and Description: 'Wisp', a submachine gun. It's predominately light silver and tyrian in colour, and equipped with a reflex sight. Shots are bright pink in colour, showing that the ammunition is data.
Moderator’s Appearance:In a word, Juno could be described as 'lanky'. Tall and skinny, but lacking grace - not necessarily clumsy, but clunky. She often slouches, but at her full height, she stands 5'7''. She's quite pale, with spikey, short orange hair, and is rarely seen not wearing her hoodie, though her clothes change from day to day.
Moderator’s Bio: Juno's growth from childhood to adolescence was spent somewhat peacefully, but awkwardly. Cloistered away in a sleepy town in Washington, she spent most of her time on her own or with a few choice friends, out of the way of most conflict as well as most people. She grew seemingly one part at a time, first one arm, then the other, and some parts, it seemed to her, didn't grow at all. Displeased with her quiet life and ill-fitting body, she turned to fantasy, but quickly grew bored of such things as well - they lacked an edge she desired, something real that wasn't there. Juno realized she wasn't searching for only distraction. What she wanted was purpose - not to drift around for the rest of her life, but to have real passion for something, to invest herself in it totally and completely. For a while, she did exactly that; Drifted, from one hobby to another, trying to discover something that didn't merely distract her from the world at large. Drifted from place to place, class to class, not excelling in anything particularly, sleeping the days away, trying to discover her place in this world...
That passion, she finally found, was in Moderators and their exploits.
They were something none too distant, and quite real - Reality's superheroes, the world's guardians. As her knowledge of them grew, so did her desire to become like them. Something triggered within her the first time she'd watched one of their broadcasted battles - something like envy. Juno wanted to be strong enough to do that, despite herself. She knew she found something worth taking a second glance at... and a third, perhaps. Aghast at herself for never paying any heed to these warriors, she began to look harder.
Something within her changed when she began pursuing this interest. Attentiveness, perhaps. It felt to her like she'd always looked at things with half closed eyes, or she took things for granted as they were. She didn't enjoy the excessive peace in her life, but the Moderators... they fought to defend it. To keep it for others. Juno wanted to do that.
Her parents were surprisingly compliant when she said she wanted to become a Moderator; perhaps they didn't fully understand the danger, or they assumed it was another passing hobby, nothing that would ever rise to fruitition. All the same, they were somewhat bemused when she proved she was serious by presenting the forms for the nearby Moderator Academy. All the same, they didn't go back on their promise to her, and soon, a day she'd been looking forward to closed in, and things seemed bright...
Unfortunately for her, she wasn't the best at this. She tried her best, but Juno just wasn't cut out for a lot of the classes - her passion got her far enough, and her drive got her a little farther, but her actual, mechanical skills needed polishing. So she worked, hard, to try and better herself. She was so close... But during a test, it was revealed what her true flaw was - under pressure, she broke. Normally, her performance was satisfactory, even good, but as things got more heated, Juno would become unable to handle things.
She adapted to this downfall as best she could, becoming more aloof in order to remain uninvested in situations. Offhandish behaviour, as though she didn't particuarly care about the outcomes of this or that, hiding her anxiety. It helped. Despite this, she hardly passed with flying colours. But at the very least she scraped by. Juno had become a Moderator...
Granted, she was a mediocre one, but she sure as hell was one.
