In all honesty, I have been searching for someone to do this with me. Write a bunch of niche books from a two character perspective and self publish to Amazon and Nook, and split it right down the middle. It is difficult to find someone willing.

Hm, that does sound pretty interesting. I'd be willing to do something like that. Can anyone self publish a book on Amazon or does it have to go through an approval process? That would be a pretty sweet way to make a few bucks, as long as people actually bought it x)

I'm not really familiar with the process of either online bookstores, but I'm sure with a little research we can find out! I know on Nook there doesn't seem to be an approval process. (I've seen/read some pretty poorly written books, so I think anyone can just submit one). If we were to team up and do this, we could sell the book for $2.00, people will pay the low price, and if two hundred people bought it, that's $200 for each of us! At the same time, we'd still be roleplaying and practicing our writing so we could charge more for our books later on. We would have to see how payment is distributed between two authors, but I'm honest, so I would definitely split it down the middle. I wouldn't just run off and disappear. I could use the money for schoolbooks and other miscellany I need as a student haha.

Hell yeah I'll team up with you to do this then x) I'll look into the process too and see what I can find out. I mean, we're already sort of doing it for fun, why not give it shot? It'd be cool if there was a way to pay two separate authors, but if not, I suppose I could trust you ;) It's not like any sensitive information would have to be exchanged - paypal can handle it in a secure way. I still wonder if people would actually buy it!! I'd use the money for school books too lol. $200 will get me like, one xD Haha, but hey, I wouldn't complain.

Ok, thanks! You know what, we should set up a Google Doc to work on it - we can IM each other there and also proofread each other's writing. That way we can also work on it individually when we have time and then the other person can see what we've written at any time. I don't know why I'm explaining it, you've probably used it before lol xD I use Google Docs all the time for group projects.

Ahh I don't have a Google account! I use OneDrive, which is the same thing. But I have used Google Drive before so it wouldn't be a horrible transition, haha.
