Audeleiss was even more dumbstruck then before at this man's actions as he yet again picking her up and this time went a step further and shut her inside a cell. She was like a limp doll in his arms, too surprised to put up any sort of a fight or protest. Few people had the nerve to treat her in such a fashion and live to tell about it, and those with such never were a rare occurrence indeed. Most people were able to use their higher brain function to know that it wasn't a good idea the second they realized who she was. Perhaps it was that she was now in her weak form and appearing like a child that he thought he could get away with it? Or that he knew she needed their help to escape? Her head hurt from the curse running through her body and from the absurdity of the situation.

"Just go with it, Audeleiss. Watching them die will make up for this," she thought to herself, eyeing him as he left her alone in the cell. "I'd love to help them out, but here I am stuck in a cell. Harrumph!" She just stood there, arms crossed with a sour expression on her face as the battle raged on.

**********

The knife embedded itself deep into his knee, the sickening sound of scrapping bone signifying the damage. It's left leg stomped down to steady himself, sliding to a halt mere inches in front of the trap. His right leg was severely limited in it's mobility now but he didn't appear to be in too much pain, likely deadened to anything of the sort by the looks of things. This allowed him to keep going well after a normal person would crumple to the ground in tears. He could clearly feel rage, however, as he let lose and intense shout far louder then the one that started the battle.

He turned around on his good leg to face the man who had done this to him, using the momentum of his weapon to help him spin around and have even more force behind his horizontal counterclockwise blow tilted downward to smash down on him from above, for he had gotten down low to be able to punch the dagger into his knee. The beast wanted to strike him in retaliation before he could pull back.

As Maybird struck the dagger, he was delighted to see it embed deeper into the beast's flesh, and better still, he could hear bones cracking, within the next moments, the monster then fell with a loud thud and right into the trap. At least, thats what Maybird thought would happen. The beast steadied itself with its left leg, just inches, inches before the trap! How frustrating it was! It was not over, though, far from it.

The beast then let out an extremely loud roar, which caused Maybird to instinctively close his hands around his ears. Now, were it not for his experience in Dungeons, he would be dead by now, as the beast spun with its axe bared, read to cleave through the poor man. Adrenaline started pumping into him, everything started playing out in a significantly slower motion, even himself, so this was the feeling of those meeting death the first time. His consciousness sped up, he could still observe the room. The beast's axe descending slowly, the glowing rune placed as a trap just in front of the beast, the man who set the trap's surprised expression, and another man in a corner, doing what seemed like preparing, as purple flames danced around his hands.

"Explode it!" Maybird yelled, not addressed to anyone in particular, and worded as short as it could be understood, yes, an explosion would be extremely sufficient, it would both save him, and perhaps knock the monster a few inches back and into the trap. Though he didn't know if anyone had anything even close to a force as powerful as an explosion that could reach his position within a matter of a second. One second,

Now, Maybird would time a barrier creation just as the beast's axe reaches at least an estimated, 1 and a half meter away from his head, it might not be powerful enough to stop the strike from cleaving through, but it might prevent damage unto himself if an explosion were to occur, nonetheless, it would at least mitigate the beast's strike. Even for a bit.

Kenzo silently cursed to himself as the Beast's attention was directed to someone else right before the trap. He slid to a stop to catch his breath as the beast let out another mighty roar. This one was louder than the first. What was it's purpose? It could have easily released its roar as it pursued and attacked its new target. Instead it had used a moment to roar first before anything else. Could it have called something?

Kenzo's eyes widened as the possibility arose in his mind. If it has allies, then that roar more than certainly would have alerted them. He got it into his head that they had to be rid of this creature immediately. Otherwise they'd have to worry about the current enemy, and multiple others that would more than likely overcome them.

Rhubarb Clover awoke from his sleep. He felt pain in his wrists, and he saw he was hanging by chains on the wall. He didn't know where he was, when suddenly, he remmbered being induced to sleep by the wizard. He fully woke up, and summoned a rock from the earth. He began banging it against his chains, until he was finally free. He rubbed his wrists. There were red marks around them. Strangely enough, there wasn't a gaurd, or even a door on his cell. He walked out his cell and inspected the others. There was nobody in any of them, but it appeared as though they had been able to escape their chains, like him. He decided he'd wait around in his cell, to see if any of them came back. I can't go out there alone, I'm just a Cleric! I'll be slaughtered in this dungeon without any allies. So he walked back to his cell and sat in the doorway, practicing some magic.

Rhubarb was sitting in the frame of his doorway, when he heard a very loud explosion, he could even slightly feel it. It was obviously an intense explosion, but what made it, he wondered. He decided to wait and see what was going to happen.

Jeremy was lost in a sea of confusion. He could hear vain imaginings and could see odd visions, but he could not understand anything. The world around him seemed to swirl in and out of control, or rather, it was not a world at all. It seemed to be a running sea of consciousness itself, like a half-remembered dream. A thought floated past, it was the remnant of a life, his life? A beast loomed into the forefront of his mind and it slowly began to dawn on him. He had been fighting a wizard, or rather, he had been fighting the beast. Were the beast and wizard connected? Although he was beginning to piece things together, he still had so many questions. What had happened?

Another vision floated past his face, it was the answer to his question. He remembered being carried by a man-like thing. It had dropped him in front of a beast and given him little opportunity to act. His friends, or enemies - he couldn't be sure, were fighting it. It an attempt to stop it from killing a man he cared very much about, for some reason, he had thrown himself between the beast and the man. Unfortunately, the beast's axe had torn through him without slowing, wounding the man as easily as it would have before. But then a faint glimmer of a Rune flew past him and he realised what had happened next. His body and exploded with significant force, killing everyone including the beast. He felt pangs of guilt fill his heart and suddenly realised what a terrible disaster he had caused. If only there was a way to make it up to them.

The half-remembered dream flittered back into his mind. He was in chains, tied to the floor. His dream faded, but it was no less clear in his mind, for it was his reality.

Jeremy lay there, dazed and confused. He could not remember anything happening like that before in his life. Surely, he must be dead, surely he could not have survived an explosion like that. There was no way a human being could survive something so terrible; and then there was the axe that had torn him in half like aged steak, no person could survive that. He sat up and began to think how this could have happened, and then he realised that there had been another, a girl. She was pretty, but not such as those that lived in the village. She had said something about helping them escape, about being able to fix everything. Would she be back, or had he killed her in the explosion? Thoughts raced across his mind and he could only take Solace in one thing: Grimrock.

If you're out there he thought I really need your help.
