Whoops, I got distracted for a while and forgot to work on this lol sorry. Here's CS number two :P
Name: Zach Anderson
Age: 24
Appearance:
Faction: Protector
Job: Web designer and aspiring architect
Bio: Zach's family moved to a little house on the edge of Brooksfield from Flagstaff, Arizona when he was only four years old. They didn't have any idea of the supernatural war going on between the Vampires and the Protectors and lived in blissful ignorance to it. When Zach turned five, his mother gave birth to a second child, Ella, whom Zach immediately took under his wing. He vowed to take care of her and protect her from danger, making her a priority above all else.
The Anderson family lived a very normal, uneventful lifestyle for six years in Brooksfield, until one fateful day when the Vampires attacked. There were two of them. They stalked the family's house every night for three days and sized up their prey. His parents never noticed them, but Zach and Ella did. They would sit right below the living room window, and peek out into the dark treeline where the Vampires lurked silently. They watched each other for about an hour each night before the two Vampires melted into the forest shadows. The third time this happened, Zach began to let his guard down and assumed they must just be a couple of weirdos from another part of town, not realizing the danger his family was in.
On the fourth night Zach and Ella went to the window at the same time as usual to take up the staring contest with the Vampires again, but this time there was no one there. Then he heard the scream. It was chillingly close and sounded like it was coming from the kitchen. Zach told Ella hide behind the couch and went to investigate the source of the scream. He peered into the kitchen from the doorway to find the two Vampires restraining his mother while they drained her blood. In the next moment, his father was hurtling down the stairs to protect his wife, shouting at the Vampires in a fury. He fired his pistol at them, but instead of falling the Vampires dropped Zach's mother and lunged at him next. Zach knew he should run, but his feet were glued to the floor as he watched the horrifying event taking place before his eyes. Then they saw him. The first Vampire let go of his father and started moving towards him slowly. Zach stepped back into the living room, his mind racing while he tried to figure out a way to save himself and Ella. In a flash, he grabbed a flower vase from the coffee table next to him and threw it at the Vampires. It would only buy him a second, but that was all he needed. Zach turned and grabbed his sister (she had crawled out from behind the couch a moment before) and they bolted for the door.
With nowhere else to go, they dashed into the forest using the trees for cover. Zach could hear the Vampires hot on their trail. He needed to find somewhere to run that they couldn't get to. Up ahead there was a cluster of thorny bushes. Desperate, he clambered beneath them. He was just small enough to only get scratched a bit on his back. The Vampires saw what he had done and hesitated. They had already had two large meals, so they decided the child wasn't worth the effort and disappeared back into the night. Zach waited until the sun began to rise before he came out from beneath the bushes. Then he realized his sister was gone.
Three years later, Zach discovered the Protectors. He sent an email to the leader, pretending he was 18 to try and get in. Later, he met with the leader, who was obviously surprised he was actually 13, and told his story, explaining that he wanted to avenge his parents (he refused to believe Ella was dead). The hesitant Protector decided to let him join, although he was never sent on missions until he turned 16. Zach has been working with the Protectors for 11 years now.
Personality: Zach carries himself in a stoic manner when on a job. He is serious about the work that he does and doesn't mess around. However when he's off the field, Zach is quite a bit more relaxed, taking on a sarcastic, humorous demeanor. He is sympathetic towards people in need and is a loyal friend, the kind of person others tend to feel that they can rely on when they need help. He likes to keep himself busy constantly, taking on many jobs for both the Protectors and his web design clients. When he doesn't have work to do, Zach maintains an active social life and spends his time alone working on art projects or studying architecture.
A good term to describe Zach would be "Renaissance Man". He is talented in many areas and a fast learner, so he picks up new things quickly. Anyone looking from the outside might think he was perfect, however he does have a fatal flaw. Zach is extremely opinionated and has a hard time changing his mind about anything. Even if he believes something that isn't true, he would go to the grave thinking it was anyway. Because of this, he can be argumentative when a topic comes up that he passionately disagrees with. It also makes it hard for him to work in a group. Apart from his lawyer-like side, he is typically easy to get along with though.
Family/Relationships?: No one except for a sister that he lost contact with sixteen years ago
Weapon(s): Crossbow and arrows with silver-tipped heads; Silver-edged Cutlass
(
*Side-note01* The lost sister may appear later as an NPC if it fits the story at any given time)
(
*Side-note02* Since Zach joined at such a young age and was an orphan, we could assume Benjamin Ford kind of "adopted" him. Let me know if you want to do that, otherwise I'll leave him as just another Protector)
