"Nice to meet you, Durga! I'm new here, too." Amy hoped she could make a new friend on her first day. She didn't want to be alone in all her classes.

"Talons crossed be both survive, eh?" said Durga, she wasn't at all enthusiastic about going here.

"Right," Amy said, wondering if this girl was in any of her classes.

David got up from his seat, he grabbed his stuff, and went to his locker he put his stuff up. He started walking to his dorm, his hands in his red jackets pockets.

"Kyle..." he said, sitting down next to him. "..what class do you have first?" he asked, looking at him. His black and green hair wasn't as spiked up as usual and it was kind of drooping over his right eye a bit.

Konsa scooted away a bit from Kyle, but otherwise accepted his presence. He was not completely comfortable but Konsa seemed to be a bit more relaxed then with other people. "Uh," Konsa glanced down at the crumpled schedule, "Flight Techniques in room 302."

Kyle nodded. "Ah, be careful with the old coot teaching that class, he may be blind but he could shoot you right between the eyes with just a needle and a rubber band.." he said, chuckling.

David found the cafeteria, and sat down at one of the tables. Some people didn't even know he existed at times. He just got out an old notebook his father gave him, about the days he spent trapped in a cell in a lab, he said they used him as a lab rat, and they could only get one person out of the lab. That would be him he only had the notebook, to remember his father by.

"I'm finally here" Raymar said to himself when he arrived at the academy grounds. He looked around, amazed by the sheer size of the front yard. "This sure is an academy designed for dragons." After a short walk he found the front lobby and the cafeteria. It was packed with people but he wasn't in the mood to chat so he quickly passed through the crowd, bought some lemon juice and found an empty table, away from all the commotion the other students made. "I wonder how many first-years like me are in this academy..." He thought while sitting down, drinking some of his juice.

With alarms bleeping everywhere and a blonde man rushing around getting his stuff. Mike had not done a good job for starting his third year at the academy. Mike always ended up getting up late on the first day almost like it was a curse. Then again he did live on his own after all, he had been going to the academy for three years and this was going to be his last year. He ran out the door after showering, shaving, getting dressed and Grabbing his mobile and front door key. He then rushed to the Academy diving though the front door and rolling on the floor knocking over two first year students before he slammed into the principle door. Once again, the principle yelled and screamed at him for being late and damaging the door. Mike was finally let out with detention and a warning.

David saw Mike crash into the principles door, that had to hurt "Mike I think that's a curse,and I don't want to know how you got it." David laughed a bit, he was a third year himself, and every year like usual Mike was late on his first day. He put his hands in his red coats pockets, he was waiting on Mike to hurry up.

Raymar was sitting there, trying to figure out where the first-year dorms where in a map he got from the academy's entrance guard. Suddenly, he heard a loud crash coming from the principles office. From where he was, he wasn't able to see what caused the loud noise but he overheard some students, probably third years, that it was someone named Mike and that it was usual for him to be late on the first day at school. Gulping down his remaining lemon juice, he headed towards what he thought were the first-year dorms to leave his luggage. As he was walking through the cafeteria, he saw a boy, probably older than him, talking to a girl about a blind teacher that could hit someone in the head with just a rubber band and a nail...

Mike walked out of the office and sighed a little before he smiled at David and said "I know right, every year its the same story. Still at least I did less damage to the door this time around", there was only a small dent in the door. Mike first year he had broken the door, his second year he had bent it in but had not broken it, this year he left a small dent.

David laughed, and shook his head. "Those first two years on campus on the first day were bad, you nearly ran into me the first year glad I rolled out of the way." David looked around, then shrugged.

Mike chuckled and said "Well, at least I'm still knocking over two people everytime"

David shook his head, "we'll we better head to class, don't want the teachers yelling at us because we're late." He put his hands in his jackets pockets.

David looked around, there were first years arriving. He just got back from Texas, since he needed to find out what had happened to his father, that ended up with him finding his dad's old journal. He went there while the break, now he was here again.

Evangeline dragged out her luggage out of the small, cluttered taxi cab that dropped her off to her destination. After getting what she'd needed, she dug around her plaid skirt pocket, and pulled out money to pay the driver. The driver thanked her by tipping his hat before be drove off; leaving Evangeline alone and her luggage. She looked at her brochure that her substitute mother gave her, and stared at the similarities between the paper and the real. No significant difference, instead of the fact that she's here; here in the American Dragon Academy.

Slowly, she breathes before she stepped a foot into campus grounds. She looked around the outside campus, and sees human forming into dragons, using their powers, and chatting along the way. That made her smile, but it made her nervous as well. She grabbed onto the door handle, and opened the doors of the academy. One foot in front of the other, her walking halted as soon as a horde of newcomers stride from many directions. If she takes another step, then she will be lost in the crowd of anxious newcomers. So, she ran back outside, slamming the doors, and tried to calm down before she goes back inside again.

She knew her dorm number, and where it might be; but thanks for a crowd of people, she could've have a panic attack if she wallows with the thousands of newcomers for another second. So, she breathed it slowly, and made sure her composure is in complete balance.

Konsa nodded, feeling a little sick to stomach once more. "Um..." He wasn't sure what to say next. Socializing wasn't something that he ever did and actually trying to be nice didn't come easily to him. Konsa wasn't even sure if he should make an effort to be nice to Kyle. "W-what class do you have?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck as he glanced down at the table.

"Same as you..." he said, leaning back in his chair. "I guess I still have to take that class even though all that weird stuff happened last year..."
