Luna raised a brow when she saw the man. It was clear that he held higher rank than the others around him. He struck her a bit strangely with his electiric blue eyes. It was as though Jack was looking at her. However the rest of his features besides body build had nothing to do with Jack. She shook her head just slightly to clear her thoughts of Jack. She met his eyes directly and stood her ground when he came towards her. "Our agreement said that you would keep werewolves confined to the forest when they are transformed. Yet one attacked me and a friend on our way home.

He laughed. It was a bark more than a laugh. It sounded cruel. He as impressed that she held her ground. He had never liked her parents. A haughty bunch really. Still he was interested. This girl claim ed that his son was a friend. Really? He was going to have a long chat with him about that."I hardly call standing on a roof of a car attacking. He was only seeing who ypu were with. It was shocking really." He said calmly. He was wondering why his son had been with her. "I don't think being on the road counts as bad. Though might I ask your relationship with your friend? Just so we can understand." He asked.

Luna tilted her head to the side slightly and let a smile form across her face. "It was in city limits. I no he meant no harm otherwise I would have killed him." Her smile now was cruel. However her smile turned to a frown when he asked her about her relationship with Jack. Her eyes narrowed slightly when she spoke. "It is complicated." Then she glanced around at the growing group of wolves. "Why would the wolf want to know who I was with?"

The old man's held a smile just as cruel "We would have killed you if you had killed him. You know the code." His smile got even more cruel. She did not know did she. She did not know what Jack was. He almost wanted to tell her. But he figured he should lead her on. "Well isn't that quaint. You don't know do you? Well maybe you should ask the guy you were with why I care. " he said smiling. "He might tell you some interesting. But is not any of my care. Time for you to leave, hunter." He said leaving her where she was. The other wolves left her as well. They went inside and left her. Hopefully she had a few questions.

His words left her nearly speechless. How would he know anything about Jack. It disturbed her deeply as they all walked inside of the house. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she turned and began walking towards her home once more. When she went back into her home Jack was gone. This made her slightly sad but she shook it off. Upon entering the kitchen she went to the fridge to grab a bite to eat. While doing this her mind kept replaying the Alpha's words. What did he mean?

Jack had left earlier. Before he left he wrote a note for her to call him on his cellphone with the number below. He left it on the couch where she could see it. He sort of wanted to talk to her. Instead he went to the mansion. His father's. He knew this was going to be bad. It however was not as bad. His father refused to speak to him. Not that it mattered. Jack changed up into something more werewolf. A flannel shirt and blue jeans. He wanted to talk to Luna for some odd reason. It seemed that the rest of the pack knew something he did not.

Luna smiled slightly as she walked into the living and saw the note. She looked down at the number with a sandwitch in her hand. She took a bite of her sandwitch before she set it down and picked up her phone. She dialed the number he had left her. She listened to the rings in impatience.

He was so bored. Damn this was tiring. The pack was sizing him up and not a single one could compete with him. Whatever. He was about to give up when His phone rang in his pocket. He quickly left the room and locked the door to his room. He picked up the phone and said "Hey Lu! I see you got my note? To what do I owe the pleasure of hearing your voice?"

Luna took a deep breath when he finally answered the phone. Her heart rate picked up at the sound of his voice. "Yes I got your note. However I received some disturbing news today. I would like to ask you about something." She sat in silence for a moment before continuing. "What do you truly know of the wolf that jumped on my car last night?

Jack's heart beat like a drum. She knew something. What he was. She somehow had talked to his father. She knew. He cleared his throat before continuing. "Well... I know a little a bit. Not a lot. Just a bit. Though you clearly knew something too. I saw how you reacted. You knew something about it." He accused. He was trying to change the subject.

Luna raised a brow when he spoke making her pace the floor a bit. "Yes I do know something. But you are changing the subject my dear. I was given information stating that you know what that creature is. I will tell you what I know if you tell me what you know." She would tell him everything in a heartbeat if she wasn't careful. She finally sat down with her head in her hand.

Jack calmed himself. He had to tell her the truth. It was too late. He sighed. "I know it's a werewolf. I've known what they are for four years now. " He said quickly. He figured she would connect the dots. He left four years ago and found out about werewolves four years ago. That was no coincidence. He knew she could figure it out. He was a werewolf. "I…still care about you. More than you know. " He said quickly. He was not going to lose her.

Luna didn't speak for minutes after he finished speaking to her. She could not claim him of lying to her while they had been together. Finally she spoke to him softly. "I knew it was a werewolf as well. I am a hunter. I train to kill supernatural rogues. I understand why you left then. You were changing." Her voice began to shake. Then she grew silence once again. "I would have to admit the same or I would be lying."

Jack's breath caught in his chest. How? Her a hunter! That made sense. The crazy move she pulled in front of the bar. The great sense of hearing. Everything. Everything. He did not know what to say. She was his enemy. Yet he did not lose what he felt. He was still the girl he cared about. He had to win her back even though he was a monster. "Luna… you need to know this. When a werewolf transforms from his wolf form to his human form he has to think about something human he cares about. Usually it is another werewolf. But for four years I thought about you. I know I'm a monster. Bit I still care about you. I'm still Jack Drake. I know you can hate me." He admitted sadly. He hope his confession would help his case.

Luna laid down finally with a hand over her eyes in thought as he spoke. She was silent for a very long time after he spoke. Her mind was trying to process all that he had said. His leaving made so much more sense now. But what could she do with him? Finally she spoke softly. "I know you are Jack. I know werewolves still have their human half they just have another side to themselves. I don't hate you but I am not sure how to deal with this. It would be unfair for me not to like you just because you are a werewolf." Her throat began to swell a bit when she finished speaking. "I still care for you but it scares me." She sounded choked up.

Jack listened to her. She had every right to be scared of him. Hell he was scared of him. He did not want to lose her because of this. If he could find a cure. No he was one and had to deal with it. He would never hurt her. No matter what. He looked at his hand for a second. "I. Will. Never. Hurt. You. We could just act like we are normal. I'm not a rogue werewolf so you don't have to kill me. I.. need you in my life Lu. " He confessed. "can we have this talk in person? I go to your place. We chat?" He asked desperately.

Luna didn't want to be scared of him but in all truth she was just a bit scared of him. His words made her heart ache for him. She sat up then and decided to give this a try. She wanted to understand him. "Alright. You can come over. I don't want to talk about it over phone any longer." She whispered a farewell before hanging up the phone. She remained on the couch staring up at the ceiling.

It took him about 20 minutes to run to her house. He was desperate to see her. He was thinking about what he would say. He would say how he felt. He loved her. It was true. Four years apart and she was on his mind. That was hardly fair to him. He had no idea how she would respond. He honestly just needed to say it. When he got to the front door he was not even tired. He knocked on the door and once she opened it said "Luna... I. Can explain it all. " He was a coward.

Luna rose to her feet and opened the door for him. Her eyes were closed off not revealing any of her emotions. However she nodded slightly. "I will listen and tell you what I can." She stepped to the side letting him in. Her eyes went to the forest for a moment before closing the door behind them. She leaned against the door and watched him.
