But do you know what a Gravity Leash is? It would fall under special weapons.

A Gravity Leash is a Leash made of plasma that acts as an anti gravitational lasso, catching objects or people, pulling them closer and leaving them helplessly suspended in the air for 10 seconds.

Well i'm down for something like that. Could cause some pretty cool scenarios if used sparingly. Overuse of something like that would maybe result in some sort of overload though.

Bulletstorm's Trademark Leash is a prime example of anti-gravitational awesomeness XD

Okay so my analytics are in, and this is the preliminary battle analysis of the two sheets we have up to date:

Alexis Ignalls is a heavy character. He relies on the innate toughness of cybernate bodies and his specially designed armour to mitigate the majority of incoming strikes. He is very hard to kill. He has high skill in ranged firefights, rarely missing his shots and striking with brutal efficiency.
However, he is not as fast as other Ephemeral, and for this reason he suffers somewhat in melee fights. Sure, he strikes hard but sometimes you need a little more than that. He won't be dodging much any time soon. He is vulnerable to armour piercing weapons. He is primarily a forward assault tank.

Elizabeth Colt is a dexterous, fast and hard hitter. She excels in both ranged combat and melee combat, having high speed and skill in both types of combat. She is easily capable of dodging many of the attacks let loose at her. She is naturally resilient to attacks given her cybernetic implants, but lacks any real armour (in comparison to other Ephemeral), which could lead to potentially lethal situations if she gets caught out of position. She is vulnerable to accurate enemies and those with heavy weapons. She is primarily a multi-purpose damage dealer.

Bang on, sir. You nailed it. And yes, the leash will overload with use. The Leash is for my alien character BTW.

Fantastic! Now we wait for the others >:)

So, Synth and TTwoThumbs, having played before, I need some input: smaller maps, right? Fewer rooms? Less, more powerful guards? Individually labelled guards with their own bios? VENT DUCTS?

This is all planned. Which of those sound good, and which sound like crap?

VENT DUCTS IN THE CEILINGS. VENT DUCTS IN THE FLOORS. VENT DUCTS. IN THE PEOPLE. VENT DUCTS EVERYWHEEEEEERE

But on a serious note, generally smaller maps would be cool, though variety once in a while would be awesome. Kinda boring to be stuck with your same generic space station room or high tech military base all the time. Battlefields would be awesome, though I'd understand if you're hesitant on that because it would be a tremendous amount of work.

I think guards should vary in power and difficulty; after all, it's expensive to keep up a personal guard unit. If you're also handling this like I think you're handling it, you should go and pop in a few tabletop gaming sessions whether online or otherwise. You know, just to see how things run etc., etc. the whole shebang.

Every guard should have their own full page backstory though, with character development and errthang, that's just a must.

Vent ducts, check.

And fear not, variety was always my plan. Surface missions will be common so I hope to pump some variety into this. In my head, making surface maps should be straightforward, but we'll see how it goes. But it is in my sights.

Absolutely. Having various power guards is a good thought, actually. That will definitely be a thing. Each map will have like 5-10 guards and each one will be named and labelled. Each guard will then have his bio, equipment, weaknesses and strengths listed, as well as his threat level relative to each player.
And yeah, I may be handling it like you think I am, but with 'common sense' added in to make things conform to logic a little better.
