The rifle range was even more accurately shot then the pistol, so accurate that even the first testing shot was inside of a centimeter from the dead center. Without much else to do after pretty much nailing all but a few targets in the dead center Renia then said: "Reset, I am garbing the sniper rifle next." Without any rush Snyper looked and somehow manged to procure a Gepard M1 Anti-Material Rifle and a bunch of ammo. Since she had time and accuracy + range were more important she opted for the single-bullet 2000m+ range, 0.7 MOA accuracy Gepard. Not to talk about the kick that this thing had, it was designed to penetrate lightly armored vehicles after all. Renia got into the standard sniper possiton, laying on the ground and adjusted the rifle's sight a bit while waiting for Leona to reset the targets...

Leona didn't think she'd need to see Snyper shoot the sniper rifle since she already knew the outcome. The only thing that interested her was how fast Snyper could shoot the sniper rifle while still hitting the targets. But rather than asking her, Leona kept these thoughts to herself in anticipation of what the girl would do. She told the people managing the range to reset the targets one more time.

Snyper decided to show of a little so a dozen or so targets (OOC:guessing that they are standard paper ones) were shot in pairs the bullet hitting one and then punching trough to hit the second to. The accuracy this time was crazy, inside of millimeter or two even of the furthest targets and even with those which were hit after the bullet first ripped trough another target. The speed of shooting was also nice for a extremely large caliber single shot anti-material rifle trough a semi-automatic sniper would still beat it any day. Snyper took up the Gepard 1 and said: "Well up to the rocket launcher. Rest while I see what you have here." It didn't take Renia long to find a Carl Gustav, a good and decently accurate shoulder-fired ground-to-ground missile. She readied the launcher and lost of additional FFV441B rockets to reload the gun. Snyper raised the launcher into position and waited for the reset.

"I don't honestly think we should fire that thing indoors", Leona said, "why is that thing even here? Explosives and underground facilities rarely go well together." Leona walked to the door. "Please put that back down, I've seen enough to know you're better than basically everyone with a gun. We're going to the second training room for some combat exercises", Leona told Snyper before she left the room.

The combat training room was divided into 6 area's. The floor on each area was covered in mats to prevent the people training in the room from injuring themselves too badly. On four mats groups of people were training and on the fifth a teacher was teaching trainees how to fight the undead without a gun.

Snyper put the rocket launcher back in the armory and then followed Leona. When they arrived at that other area she asked: "Can I use throwing weapons? I will probably have problems moving anyone that is even one quarter heavier then me. I do know some self-defense but I really am not got with close combat." Renia was wondering if she cloud would be allowed to use throwing weapons, or any other weapon, in this part. Since almost any weapon that cloud be held cloud also be thrown she knew that as long as they allow some weapons she had a nice chance of showing her skills in this part. She waited for an answer or for instructions from Leona ...

"There will be several exercises", Leona responded, "we don't usually use throwing weapons though. Anyhow, the most important part is still the shooting of weapons of course. I mean, you don't generally want to be close to a brainless. However, in those situations that you do get into a brawl with one of those monsters, we'd prefer you to be able to defend yourself. These exercises will all be about what tricks we need to teach you." Leona walked to the area with the instructor who told his students to practise in the sixth area. "Snyper, this is Ryder Pond, one of the instructors. Since there's barely anything to improve on your shooting skills, this will be the instructor you'll see the most before we put you on full time duty. We tend to call him Ghost. Ghost, this is Snyper. We'll be doing some basic exercises today to see how well, or bad as she claims, she fights."
"Very well, pleased to make your acquaintance, Snyper", Ghost said with a deep, low voice. He didn't stretch out his hand but instead just stared her in the eyes waiting for her to reply.

"Well, I have no problem with showing some of my self-defense skills, as long as I am not asked to duke it out with a heavy weight champion," Renia first replayed to Leona and then proceeded to greet the man she was introduced to: "Renia Lönear, but I prefer to me called Snyper, nice to meet you mister Pond; or Ghost, whatever suits you better." She didn't waste time and used the opportunity to clear her inter thoughts, pump her adrenaline up with breathing techniques and stretched the muscles she will be needing to efficiently use the self-defense techniques she knew ...

"The exercise", Ghost said, "is very simple. There will be two parts, the first is you trying to hit me, just once, and the second is me trying to hit you, just once. Hitting does not mean 'try to hurt your opponent', it's just about defending and breaking through a defence." Ghost moved back and lifted up his arms. "Arms and legs are the only parts of the body that do not count. I'm ready, just attack me however you feel like."

"I just have to hit you? Well then," Renia said while taking a stance, moving her center of gravity so it would provide optimal mobility, with a smile, "this will be easier then I thought." With quite a speed, trough not quite on the level of for example a professional female kick-boxer of the same weight category, Snyper closed in and started to unleash a barrage-like series of hits with her arms, minimizing the use of her legs to keep a solid attack distance. Deadly accurate from her natural talent in targeting and fast from the years of the desire to reload faster and faster Snyper's attacks lacked only one thing, strength and now it was only one thing that she counted on - that Ghost makes a mistakes and that an attack slips past his defense and hits the upper portion of his body...

Ghost was used to brawls. ever since he was young he had been an outsider which got him into more than enough fights to be experienced. After he joined the Defence Force, he found out about martial arts and expelled in them. The military faction knew many illegal fighting stages and over the years Ghost honed his skills. After he retired from field work it was an easy choice for the higher ups to make him teach the trainees close combat skills.

While Snyper threw out a lot of attack, which only lacked strength, which were basically all on target, Ghost held his own. She didn't follow any usual patterns but just attacked him as fast as possible. It seemed she had already found a way to beat the system by doing precisely what she was asked to do. Most people would have tried to show of, or attacked him seriously, with actual strength. Yet, even though Ghost liked the way Snyper tried to win, he didn't yield and responded with equal speed. The nice thing about the exercise is that he didn't need to concentrate on attacking. All he had to do was push her fists out of the way or catch them and throw them back. Unlike Snyper, Ghost did move. Whenever he felt that she punched him too often, he just jumped backwards and reassured defensive stance.

Ghost never intended to win, though. He just wanted to see how long she could keep this up. In a way, she was beating the test because it's original purpose isn't just to see if you can hit somebody but, because people tend to show off, also to find out how deadly that single hit is. Now that that purpose is lost, Ghost changed his objective to seeing how much stamina Snyper has.

Snyper, after twenty or so hits knew that the opponent in front of her was not someone that would be defeated so easily, especially since he only had to defend, if he actually attacked Renia cloud have used his own strength against him, but if she would keep this pattern it would only mean her defeat once her stamina runs out. So instead of attacking on she decided to stop and concentrate on what she observed until now from Ghost, and she knew that he would be not possible to win an endurance race against him. Instead of that she decided to change her attacks, instead of the fast jabbing technique she was using now she decided to do something else - to use the only thing that you can always throw at your enemy - your own body. Snyper charged at Ghost in a manner that would suggest a fast kick at the lower abdomen and actually not having that much speed - she gave him enough time to respond before she even came in kicking range...

Ghost saw her change in tactics and, pleased by the results, decided he has seen enough. He redirected the kick but still let it hit him. With a faint smile on his face he said: "You win, well done." Twice now, she had beaten the purpose of his exercise which meant she was able to outplay her opponents. She just needed a bit more strength, that was all. "Prepare yourself, now it's my turn to try to hit you." Ghost turned around and walked to his side of the floor where he stopped and turned back to face her. This time he left his arms hanging beside his body.

"I can also counter-attack if I want right? Well then," Snyper said while taking a much different stance, a defensive one with both of her arms in front of her and waiting for Ghost's attacks. Renia smirked and said: "Now it is time to dance." Her full concentration was dedicated to her opponent and his movements. She was wondering, in excitement, how far will Ghost push her body and mind and for a split second everything else in the world became just background noise, unimportant and forgotten, but Snyper calmed, she still didn't need to enter a battle frenzy mode ...

~Ghost~
"Sure", Ghost said calmly, "you can counter attack if you like." Ghost usually started out with pretty straight forward and easy attacks so the first thing he did was dash forward and throw a single punch at Renia to see how she would react. Weary of what she asked, he kept one arm up defensively. He wasn't about to go get caught of guard during his warming up. She Renia could do that, she would have to show that during the later stages of the fight when Ghost would undoubtedly try to pull the more fancy moves.

Renia stepped into his dash, using her heightened vision and reflexes to evade the incoming punch, while one of her elbows quickly went for Ghost's chest. Snyper decreased her speed so the blows would just leave sore and nasty bruises not break ribs, but this also meant that Ghost had time to use his other hand to defend himself if needed.

~Ghost~
When Renia stepped into his dash, he quickly turned his body in such a way that he could catch her elbow and throw it back. Normally he would have held onto it to pull her out of balance, but this time he just pushed it aside so he had more time to evade her so he wouldn't crash into her. He moved his body to the side where her elbow was to put more strength in his push. This would also make him end up on one side of her. He just hoped she didn't just her other hand to hit him anywhere so he could safely disengage by moving backwards.

Snyper went of the hand with which he was planning to grab her elbow while at the same time rising her leg in a kicking matter with conscious-taking force for Ghost's head, forcing him to chose between on of the two options - step back even further or move his arms to defend from her kick, whatever he chose it would remove both the danger of his punches and the hand that was targeting Renia's elbow.

~Ghost~
Ghost saw the danger of his positioning but he didn't want to stop pressuring her just yet. Rather than stepping backwards or stopping her kick, Ghost moved to the side of Snyper's elbow. Since the force behind his movement was sideways and since he contracted the muscles in his chest as much as possible, the damage should be minimal. At the same time he raised his arms to defend his face. If she did hit him, he could attempt to catch her foot and use that against her.

Snyper barely managed to grab on Ghost's elbow, but he already moved on and her grab it only slowed his strike a bit. Calculating that it was not possible to react fast enough and block the hit, Snyper rather changed the direction of her kick, hitting Ghost's blocking arm, so that it would launch her in such a way that Ghost's strike would hit her with as little damage and force possible and moments later so it was, Renia received a hit in her lower torso but it was not strong enough to even cause bruises, not to tell about actual injury. Snyper landed, sweating and huffing, some two meters away, with a smile on her face. "That was rather interesting, to bad that you hit me which means that it is over. To bad I was not allowed to use a stick or something similar. I really can't do much but try to surprise someone with faster leg work and more strength then me. Well what comes up next?"

~Ghost~
"Just some simple exercise-", Ghost began before Leona interrupted him. "Actually, I'd like to take a look at that video now, training can come later. I've already taken the liberty of inviting some big shots", she told Snyper, "the Mayor and a scientist who may be interested in this. Follow me." She walked away towards the door. "Me too?", Ghost asked. "Sure", Leona said.

While Ghost and Snyper were fighting, Leona had sent a message to the Mayors, the leader of the Defence Force. The Mayor of Scientia insisted on professor Darkling being present as well, so Leona had invited her as well.
